Unique and charming atmosphere. Trulli room was worth staying. Breakfast buffet was gorgeous. Google map of the hotel was not accurate. It was a bit difficult to find.
Rooms in Trulli are typical & nice. The swimming pool & the scenery are fantastic. It is a quiet & very nice hotel close to Cisternino city. Food & wine are also good. only detail: Water in the swimming pool was very cold in August.so noone was swimming but we still like it very much. A romantic hotel, You won't be disappointed. Villa Cenci is a wonderful Trulli Masseria, good pool, fab food, good location for touring the region between Bari and Brindisi. If you want a very relaxing holiday, its a great place, you do need a car as its a bit out of Cisternino. We stayed for 3 days initially and came back for another night at the end of our holiday. No, I will come back next year.
The masseria has been renovated with great attention to detail; chic and simple. Fantastic breakfast to start the day, lovely landscaped grounds, great pool area to relax around, comfy rooms and great bed linen. Only a couple of small details; the lighting in our room was v bright & not very atmospheric and bizarrely for Italy, the coffee was just ok.
The grounds were absolutely lovely, our Trullo was divine, the pool was nice, the staff was fantastic and breakfast marvelous. It was an exceedingly relaxing masseria. Loved that. And it was within driving distance of several towns that we wanted to visit, therefore convenient. It exceeded my expectations. The pool was a bit wacky, in that it dropped dramatically near the deep end. I am not a pro swimmer, so I stayed in the shallow end. On our final day, there was an irritating little boy creating a bit of havoc in the pool, so I was actually glad we were moving on. This, of course, is not the hotel's issue, but that of the parents of said child. I will absolutely return however.
Welcoming, very friendly and helpful staff, a spacious room with pleasant, clean and simple decor, a confortable bed and good pillows, a bathroom with piles of white fluffy towels and a large balcony with gorgeous views.
This hotel deserves all the high ratings it has received from previous booking.com guests. It's location is not only an easy walk to beautiful charming Cisterino but also makes it a perfect choice for visiting this area of Puglia. All the staff are delightful, charming and helpful. The breakfast is superb as well as the great waitress who takes wonderful care of you. This should be a 4 star hotel!
nice view and balcony very old fashion decoration
Very helpful personnel, great location Wifi in the rooms is weak
Easy to find, very helpful friendly staff who were attentive to guests' needs. Good value. Excellent breakfast. Nothing
Breakfast excellent. Room spotlessly clean and well appointed. Staff extremely helpful. Cleanliness faultless. Stairs - no lift. Bathroom a little dated. Minor issues really.
We were made very welcome on our arrival the room was a good size and clean with lovely views over the country side. The breakfasts were more than plentiful with a good selection of foods.
The staff were excellent. Some very nice people. Helped us whenever we needed it. Breakfast was also very good. We will stay again. Nothing. Everything was fine.
the quietness the helpfulness of the management put in a swimming pool
We've stayed there a few times. We find the staff friendly and helpful.
Lots of fresh air, very quiet at night; good position for travelers who intend to see Ostuni and Alberobello. A bit difficult to find when coming from Cisternino; not much choice in breakfast buffet.
Convenient location with easy to find comfortable hotel. Good size rooms and on site pizzeria open daily with reasonably priced and varied menu. Welcoming pleasant staff. Noise carried from adjacent rooms, people walking around and plumbing. Probably due to lack of insulation and all tiled floors.
Availability of hotel staff to drive us into town whenever required None
This is a very friendly, comfortable and relaxed hotel. The staff are very helpful. There is a very good restaurant (taverna) in the hotel offering excellent meals to cater for all budgets, from pizzas to a la carte. Lovely views from the windows/balcony.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Convenient to Cisternino. Views. No hot breakfast
A pleasant hotel set at over 400 metres with fantastic views to the cost and over local towns. Staff were friendly and helpful in the main. The hotel was very quiet when we went (September 2009) and most of the time we were the only ones by the very pleasant pool. The room we had simple but clean and a good size wiith a balcony with amazing views. Breakfast was the usual Italian breakfast fare. The restuarant served good food at reasonable prices. All round the hotel was value for money.
Great location with views over to the Adriatic. We were the only ones by the excellent pool for 3 days. The noise from the other rooms plumbing was unacceptable from a supposed 4 star hotel. It was as if the guy in the room next door was in with us. No concierge service carry your own bags from the car park up the steep outside steps.
Quiet location near Cisternino and Ostuni and nice room.
very welcoming and warm staff
Friendliness and helpfulness of all of the staff. Plus location. Food good.
- kind staff - good cuisine - hotel position and indications - breakfast (minimum, really the needful)
The hotel was very nice. The staff was helpful to a point, but not speaking Italian, there was some problems with translation of information. The on-site ristorante was excellent. Their web says the hotel is only minutes from the beach, but unless you have a car the beach is not possible, unless you take a expensive taxi ride. The hotel is about 2 miles from Cisternino. So, the location of the hotel is not good for the beach or the main city.
The owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. We would very happily stay there again
Nino and his daughter went above and beyond to make our stay special. On the day we left - - at 5:00AM - they insisted on preparing coffee and breakfast for us although breakfast usually didn't start until 7:00AM! Miriam (daughter) spoke beautiful English which was also a huge plus! Everyone at the hotel was gracious and helpful. We would definitely return to Quadrifoglio.
they have a nice pool which is close to the hotel (400m ca.) hotel is next to a street but at night we were not disturbed, our room had a nice balcony. very clean and family run, friendly
staff pleasant and helpful and they make their own pastries.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and were not obtrusive yet were easily available to deal with requests. The room was very clean and had efficient air conditioning (absolute necessity in Italy at the moment). We ate at the hotel twice with our non resident guests and on both occasions the hotel found us a table at short notice. The food was very good and highly recommended. There is on site parking which is monitored in the evening and there was no charge applied for the parking. We would certainly stay again.
Nice old farmbuilding, with a new extension on the hill for quiet rooms with a panoramic view on the whole area, from the hiils to the sea... Nice restaurant with local dishes. Friendly staff, except the older owner that was far from “welcoming”. Had to pay cash because the “machine was not working”.
italian ambiance / no too European strangers / Excellent cooking
Nothing The a/c had been switched off due to the season .................it was very hot and so therefore uncomfortable. We had no hot water so could not wash properly and we were given a room overlooking the carpark when clearly the hotel was not full. We were given a sea view after asking but by that time we had experienced the breakfast and decided to check out. Not a very good experience all round!!
The beach and pool facilities are wonderful, and even at the height of the season we had no trouble getting a good location for umbrella and chairs. The outside restaurant was quite good for a la carte items. The price was quite high for the 2 days, but I would expect it's better priced for people who stay a whole week. The dining room food was just adequate. It's geared to families more than to gourmands.
