Pros. Location
Cons. Overall the hotel seems old and needs to be updated. We found a blond hair in our "fresh" towels. Not anything like the Best Westerns I've been to previously.
Pros. loved the bed comfort lots of restaurants nearby bowling alley next door walmart right down the road shower was clean and well kept

Pros. The reviews were pretty much spot on. No highway noise, easy access to most parts of Columbia. The rooms are interior access only so it feels more secure for room access. Bed was comfortable, had a microwave and decent sized fridge. Wall A/C unit worked great and is located in a good spot in the room. Good blackout window treatments. Bathroom was cleaner than I expected, good water flow / hot water. This location is mainly 5-10 minutes from most locations you may want to access in town, however you must drive to get across the major highways (no walking). The area appears to safe. Right next door is a clean / fun bowling alley (1 minute walk). There are enough stores nearby to pick up any incidentals that you may need. Hotel staff is knowledgeable and very willing to assist. Overall I would simply say that for bargain hotel stays in Columbia ( i've stayed at many different hotels there) this is by far the best quality I've stayed at for the $60-90 range.
Cons. Slight odor throughout the building, not bad enough to run anyone off but they do a decent job trying to cover it up. Carpet in the rooms was cleaned properly but I was 50/50 on walking barefoot in the room, it could be a toss up from room to room. No bathroom ventilation.
