The owners house/check in desk is new and very very nice. I'm sure they wrote off their house as a check in desk. The brand new batting cage hidden behind the building was the nicest thing about the place. And no it's not meant for the guests. Rude staff, couldn't check in early after requesting. Check in time is not 2 as the website indicates. Carpets wet, doors rebuilt with screws, mold everywhere, was gross.
Large spacious room The ad lied when it said the room had a hit tub. What it had was a regular tub with jets in it. One person could not relax in this tub let alone two people who wanted a romantic night out. Not worth paying extra when we couldn't use it.
very close to where I needed to be. Location is really the only plus here. Ac didnt work well, lighting was horrible and not very clean.
Location Price increase with no quality improvement
Convenience to the meetings I attended. They did not honor the payment arrangements we made through priceline. There was no hot water.
Met expectations! Somewhat dated
Clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Poor quality shower.
we were tired after getting into town late at night. We checked in and went straight to bed. The beds were comfortable and the room had free wifi. I slept very well.
Looks like it had been remodeled since outr last visit. Well done. Much better amenities now. Rug had a couple of sticky spots.

Location was the only one suiting my needs, but it was difficult to find at night. It is at the end of a long driveway off the road, and there is NO sign on the road visible in the dark. I spent 45 minutes with my GPS looking for it. Weird location; indifferent/incompetent staff (it took about 30 minutes to find my reservation)
Location -- rooms clean -- no noise -- enjoyed our stay Room a little musty on entry since they turn the AC units off apparently when not in use, not a big deal, they aired out quickly...
I was pretty disappointed with this hotel. They were rated as a 3 star, but the room was dirty.. carpet stained, walls filthy and sheets were old and dingy, the pillows were just weird.. very uncomfortable and like half the size of the cases (little squares). The breakfast wasn't very good either - just barely average, plus it is in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't get any internet connection in room either.
The staff in the evening was young and more into their friends that were hanging out near the front door but the room was clean and quite. The morning staff was very into their customers. The breakfast area was clean and the food was acceptable. I would stay again.
We were happy with the hotel. The front desk was very friendly. We got fast service. Good breakfast. No problems whatsoever. Will stay again in the future.
the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I always feel safe when I stay there. The rooms are clean.
The Inn was clean, the employees were friendly and the free breakfast was actually pretty good. They even had a waffle station where you could make your own belgian waffle which was my kids favorite thing. The Inn was close to the best coffee shop ever, Village Coffee which is next door to a Quiznos. If you ever stay here and its a cold day, go get a hot chocolate Breve from that Village Coffee shop....yum!
I've stayed here 3 or 4 times. The rooms and grounds have been clean and tidy which is a plus for the area. The non-smoking rooms tend to be furthest away from the wireless hub so access is often poor/non-existent.
Hotel was great. Very comfortable and clean. However, we thought we were a lot closer to the mountains. Overall, it was a great place to spend the night.
Nice, clean accomodations. The softest towels you can imagine! Great location. Nice continental breakfast with waffles! Quiet. Helpful staff. Just seemed like a family owned business with people who really cared. Would definately stay again. Only thing I would have liked more was to have a coffee maker in the room...but that's just me. :-) - Traveler from Texas
This hotel was very clean and the employees very pleasant. However, they had advertised these ''new dream mattresses.'' They were not even close! They were the most uncomfortable matresses that I have ever slept on. In fact, sleep was somewhat limited as it was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. The hotel was in a great location and a great price. But- just be sure to schedule a chiropractor appointment for when you check out! I will probably stay in this area again, but I don't think it will be here!
Unfortunately, the hotel gave away one of our 2 double-bed non-smoking rooms, which we had pre-paid. This was an issue because we were traveling with teenage children, and were given a king bed. Very disappointed.
1st room provided was not ready - bed in disarray, dirty Made to feel I was lying about this - called housekeeping to confirm before providing a new room. 2nd room provided keys did not work - had to return to lobby to rekey. Again, made to feel i was incorrect. Not one instance of 'I'm sorry for having inconvenienced you'. That would have gone a long way.
Mary on the front desk was wonderful and she had so much good to say about everything, so positive and up beat !!! And the room was nice and clean. They were putting in new carpet everywhere but it was still clean! Kids loved the pool and the breakfast bar was good.
The housekeeping staff were great, front desk horrible. The location was steps to an Aldi and Sonic, many other restaurants very close. Room size was great too. The hotel is just worn. The carpet was very stained, shower tub drained very slowly. It looks like they tried to fix the tub surround by caulking WITH A DIFFERENT COLOR then the rest, seriously? The dresser drawers didn't stay closed (or there was a ghost in the room), housekeeping skipped cleaning our room the first day, and a candy wrapped was left in the elevator for 36 hours. When I told the front desk attendant about issues in the room, she just couldn't be bothered. Also, the gym could be decent if you didn't feel like you'd fall off the machines while using them. Breakfast was decent but clearly, the eggs were a powder. I think management/owners need to look at how this hotel is run.
A very well done B&B with a staff who makes you feel like you are coming to visit an old friend!
The atmosphere was awesome. It was very much a home away from home. Both the staff and other guest were extremely friendly. Wasn't much in the direct area. Drove to the next town for dinner for lack of choices on main street. Would love to see the atrium opened up in the evening for wine or drinks with music (satellite radio or similar). Hot tub out there would be wonderful.
In an old fire/police station, with tons of character - beautiful old tile in bathrooms, fireplace, lovely courtyard, elegant dining/sitting room. Huge windows, high ceilings, yummy bathrobes. The cute loft in our room, would be totally fun for kids! Not a thing.
Loved the Firehouse Inn-very relaxing and quiet. Beautiful room and pleasant staff. We will definitely be back!!
Quiet, easy to find, seemed clean in spite of everything being probably the original furnishings and fixtures. Proprietor was a foreigner and hard to understand. Did not have a computer with which to handle reservations and payment.
It was cheap and what I needed. It was so far away from my destination, but it was the cheapest and the closest I could find.
The only good thing was the room had microwave and refrigerator. Old bedding and had cigarette burns on blanket, smelled of smoke, no coffee or continental breakfast, bathroom tile moldy.
the woman at the front desk was very nice. I saw a doctor an hour ago and am COVERED in bedbug bites. I have over 35 bites AND COUNTING from staying two nights ago in that hotel.
It was quiet and secluded!! There was no toiletries in the room, no soap or anything!
