What a gem!
Well thought out room with modern bathroom, luxury amenities like bathrobes, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel was relatively close to everything.
My front desk experience was difficult and somewhat unfriendly. I waited for nearly ten minutes to be waited on while the woman at the front desk made calls. The air conditioning did not work at all. At one point I set the air conditioning to 50 degrees and the room temperature never dropped below 72.
The accomodations were elegant and very comfortable.
I arrived late, after a wedding and learned that they upgraded me to a king sized bedroom!
The one thing that turned me off was there was a white comforter on the bed, and you could see that it was dirty, i just took it off the bed completely.
The staff made us feel very welcome. It's refreshing to find contemporary furnishings in an older hotel.
Sometimes ordinary just doesn't cut it. The Centennial Hotel introduces a welcome alternative to both traditional franchised hotels and local inns. Relax and unwind in one of The Centennial's 32 spacious guest rooms. Each room is furnished with boutique furniture, deluxe pillow-top bedding, and artwork taken from the pages of Vogue. While unwinding at The Centennial, you'll want to enjoy Granite Restaurant & Bar, Concord's hugely popular dining alternative. New American Cuisine- a melting pot without "boarders". Granite is open for breakfast, lunch (except Saturday) and dinner daily. Granite serves brunch on Sunday. Meeting & conference rooms are also available (for groups up to 85 people), each with LCD TV/presentation screen and the latest handheld- controlled AV systems.
