Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the fountain comes highly recommended.
Consider Bringing Extra Bedding
Some guests suggested that the rooms could benefit from additional blankets or duvets, especially during colder months, so it might be wise to bring extra bedding if visiting in winter.
Be Mindful of Noise Levels
A few guests noted that the proximity of some rooms to the breakfast area resulted in early morning noise. If sensitive to noise, it may be best to request a room away from high-traffic areas.
Check Room Amenities
While the hotel provides basic amenities, some guests found the room size and facilities to be smaller and more dated than expected. It's advisable to review the room amenities and sizes before booking.
Consider Ground Floor Rooms
Guests with mobility concerns or a preference for easy access may want to request a ground floor room, as some found the upper floors less convenient.
Plan for Breakfast Alternatives
A few guests mentioned that the breakfast options were limited or not as expected. Considering nearby cafes for breakfast might be a good alternative.
Be Prepared for Temperature Fluctuations
Some guests experienced issues with the shower water temperature fluctuating unexpectedly. Being prepared for this by adjusting the water carefully can help avoid discomfort.
Check Wi-Fi Reliability
A few guests reported weak and unreliable Wi-Fi, so it's advisable to have alternative connectivity options if a stable internet connection is essential.
Consider Noise from Other Guests
Some guests mentioned noise disturbances from neighboring rooms, so it might be helpful to pack earplugs in case of noisy neighbors.
Be Aware of Check-in Procedures
As the hotel does not have staff available after 4 pm, guests arriving late should be prepared for a self-check-in process and ensure they have all necessary information for a smooth arrival.
