Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice room. Excellent setting.
We very much enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the delicious food and the stylish decor. Perfect for a week-end away from the city stress. The tv was locked, there was no drinks on draught, breakfast times slot a bit narrow
Good staff, excellent room size and very comfortable. poor shower in my room
This charming hotel is very convenient for Bath and its beautiful surrounding villages and towns. Excellent service. I would definitely stay here again. No, nothing.
Beautiful charming old hotel Extremely efficient and friendly concierge, welcome Shower not working in either room
On arriving at Rudloe Hall it felt very welcoming, the hotel itself being lovely with sumpteous furnishings which were very comfortable and had a great relaxed feel to it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and could not do enough to make sure out stay was enjoyable. The food also was of a high standard but no pressure was put upon us when we decided not to eat in the hotel one evening.
all the staff were very friendly, profesional & made us feel very honoured & welcome.the hotel was amazing, but very quiet.we felt we had to whisper on times,as this made us feel a little uncomfortable.the gardens were really relaxing & very pretty. we enjoyed our stay very well,& hope to return again one day.compliments to the chief & all the staff with regards mr & mrs williams.
Communal areas of the hotel were excellent My room was comparatively disappointing but adequate.
It was a beautiful setting and staff were extremly friendly and welcoming especially marco! He went out of his way to be helpful at every oppertunity! We recieved the best service we have ever had and he made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble! Thankyou. Hotel was perfect and very relaxing but we did feel it was a little too quiet at times. Felt ourselves whispering .
the relaxed atmosphere, the site, the garden, the people, the food nothing
TheB&B rooms were very comfortable and and the Breakfasts were excellent Being on the London Road the front rooms were subject to a lot pf traffic noise during the day
Nothing particularly sttod out - I liked the decor! Shame that there was just 'warm' water for a bath when we arrived at 6 pm
Clean, very comfortable. Staff wonderful
The room was excellent. The beds comfortable. Breakfast superior. The host Mike Ralli was very helpful. The hotel is located close to a bus stop which goes to the centre of Bath. Nil.
comfort and relaxed atmosphere
Fabulous weekend, lived up to and exceeded expectations. Everything as described on the web site, fabulous refurbishment of the house, quality fixtures and fittings throughout. None whatsoever. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
Friendly people, really nice and comfortable room and the first good working shower in the hole UK!!!!First Address for people who like Peter Gabriel. The Hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the famous real world studios. Sorry for any english mistakes in this statement i`m a bloody german guy1
From the moment you arrived we were greeted warmly, our room beautiful and the breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended. nil complaints
Wonderful hosts and beautiful house. Best poached eggs ever! None
~The rooms were lovely - very luxurious - the bathrooms were fantastic!! Didnt know we were arriving until just before we came - mix up with rooms - online booking offers option of smoking rooms but this is not so! Room was very cold - couldnt work out heating and noone around to ask how controls worked!!!
Lovely building in a lovely setting. Excellent quality bed linen. Super staff - very helpful. Excellent menu Room a little pokey. Wardrobe not easy to access - and the hangers fell apart. Bathroom shower not easy to work and the lighting was not good
The hotel is in a beautiful building and the rooms were warm and well equipped. It is very close to Bath but situated in a quiet location. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. It was good value and I would definitely stay there again. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The mattress - it wouldn't put me off staying here again.
Excellent location, nice big room. Staff at front desk were rude, shower control was very stiff, room smelled of paint.
An excellent all round hotel 10 minutes from Bath, the purpose of our visit. We only stayed one night but really liked it. The room was large clean and well furnished. We felt it was good value for money and will return. The only negative for us was the mattress which was too soft for our liking.
The restaurant (which you don't ask about) was very good. There were no bad points.
No bad points. Perhaps the "good" ratings should have been "excellent"!!
Surroundings. Service. Food.
Initially we were going to stay only one night but when saw beautiful location and the hotel, descided to stay one more night. I can't think of any
The Staff are amazing, from Fiona on reception to the great breakfast and incredibly pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, it was perfect. Thank you The shower pressure was a little weak, but that would not in any way effect my future intention to stay again.
Beautiful settings, , howver the room was not as expected considering the price, overal comfortable stay though. The building, Beutiful settings, would be wonderful in summer!
The superb service Nothing at all
A magnificent, stately building, its setting and surrounding countryside. Spaciousness. Hotel interior decor and the room, the Crews Croft, overlooking the magnificent grounds. Attention to detail. The amount of effort on the gardens. Good food, and pleasant dining area, the restaurant and bar staff were particularly attentive. Peacefulness. We have eaten at the Manor on several occasions but this was our first overnight stay. We will definitely return. There was not a single thing we disliked.
hotel staff were all friendly and kind. They were really great. Wonderful hotel, beautiful green, good restaurant. Breakfast was also very nice. We had to change a room, but the they didn't put us to a right room immidiately. We had to wait for like an hour :( With a small child, it was difficult to stay in a maisonette room. Too steap stairs!
We stayed in one of the cottages and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The cottages, grounds and village were beautiful and a fantastic place for a quiet, romantic retreat for a few days. I highly recommend this accommodation. The bed was one of the best quality that I have slept on - something that is more important to me than most other aspects but this place is just fantastic in all respects
Beautifully decorated, lovely peaceful atomosphere, well maintained rooms and grounds, soft & comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. It was all good!
Very pretty setting, attractive rooms Nothing
Excellent room, spacious, comfortable and a fabulous bathroom. Loved the bears. Nothing

Easy access to the golf coarse with a quick and convenient shuttle to and from the club house
We loved the modern decor and relaxing surroundings. The dining experience was amazing and the food was gorgeous! Extremely good value for money.
Extremely pleasant staff. Excellent food. Beautiful location.
The hotel building and surrounds were absolutely lovely! When you think of a manor in the English countryside, this would be it!! The room contained everything we needed and the breakfast was very nice. It was a very warm day when we visited and because of the design of the building, it stayed quite warm through the night. The hotel did try to make us comfortable by providing a fan which was appreciated.
Water coming through ceiling in bedroom deserved a discount
The staff were exceptional in terms of their helpfulness, friendliness and general attitude. My wife summed up the hotel during dinner as "Formal enough to make you feel slightly uncomfortable but the staff are so pleasant so as to make it a charming experience". I really enjoyed the size and occupancy of the hotel. Even though it was full, it didn't feel crowded. The food was superb - I fully recommend having your evening meal in the hotel. Also, the proximity of the hotel to the charming little town of Melksham meant that it was easy and convenient to pop out and get the little bits of shopping if needed, although it felt like you were in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside. The room was a little basic - no clock or radio and the decoration a little tired.
The staff were very welcoming, the hotel was nice and quiet. We also had dinner at the hotel which was lovely as well as breakfast every morning. The pillows are uncomfortable
Clean, comfortable hotel,in generous well kept grounds. Ideal for visiting hidden gems in the wiltshire countryside.Spa facilities sounded good although i did not try them. Hotel was undergoing some work.
Extremely relaxing, beautifully kept grounds, very helpful and friendly staff
friendly + helpful staff bathroom without shower
The house was absolutely beautiful, the room I stayed in was luxurious with lots of unexpected extras like electrically adjustable beds and large screen TV. The bathroom was out of this world! The proprietors couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
Gorgeous room with double jacuzzi. Very friendly people. Very accessible to Bath. Lovely views across fields. Good English breakfast. Would visit again.
Excellent through out stay. None.
Paul and Lorraine are superb hosts and the property is very well furnished with no expense spared. Excellent breakfast. Nothing.
A fine country pub providing great food and superb accommodation.
Hotel clean and staff very friendly. One of the bedrooms was quite cold, perhaps radiator timing control should be set for longer?
A typical Old English country inn with a great atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellant and reasonably priced..
The pub seemed to be a focal point for village life with a lively bar, friendly regulars and a varied menu with good value specials on offer.
Convenient for us to visit Westonbirt Friendly service and facilities fair, food good.
It was a very charming and cosy hotel.
Warm friendly atmosphere, good food, excellent room No
The pub downstairs is popular and serves excellent food with a good range of real ales. The hotel building is old and quirky so don't stay expecting luxury. The village is close to the M4 and well placed for visiting Bath and Bristol. No shaving socket in the bathroom.
Great find and perfect for an overnight stay in this beautiful part of the world. Lovely room, great food, decent wine list and lively locals! Checking out was rather labourious and we were in a rush to get to a christening.
The staff in particular. They were very accomodating and helpful. Due to circumstances, we arrived early and an effort was made to provide food and get the room ready. This applied for the duration of our stay. All in all, it left us with a very good impression of the hotel.
Nice surroundings, large size room, good food Background noise from the Motorway traffic. Dirty dinner plate and used glasses left outside a room in the first floor corridor for 24 hours
The location, the building and the gardens were very good. Our room was extremely comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good. Although the food in the restaurant was good, the staff were somewhat less good. The waitresses would benefit from some training.
our room was above a wedding reception. We were not told about this when we booked or when we arrived. Because of this our stay was poor
Relaxed and friendly with excellent food.
hotel staff willing to go out of way to accomodate our needs - opened restaurant hour early so we could eat before going to concert
Breakfast ,have stayed in many five star hotels breakfast here compares favourably, waitress excellent.
V. pleasant staff and superbly comfortable room. The hotel garden was beautiful and well-tended, and the breakfast was excellent. This was olde-worlde luxury. We would happily have stayed on an extra day! We had come to the hotel in order to visit friends in Stanton St. Q.: however, so far as we know, there is otherwise not much to do in the vicinity. The shower did not work well and the tiled bathroom floor became dangerously slippery when wet. Extra towels were needed.
The room was a nice size and very comfortable with a good TV and freeview channles. The food and wine were good and the service at dinner and breakfast were also good. I personally did not experience her but the lady meeting couples to discuss possible weddings was a bit loud and somewhat brash. From what I overheard (it was impossible not to overhear) she lacked style and subtelty. As a result I would not recommend this hotel as a possible wedding venue.
Visited several Cotswold villages, National trust venues and attended an open air concert N/A
