Our room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the flat screen TV with a lot of channels. Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. We had plenty of room to move around and we had a sofa/bed too! The hotel has a nice pool. Also, has a big hot breakfast! Bathroom was small, so it was hard for my husband and I to be in there at the same time. Sheets had some stains on them, but they were small.
Door lock seemed to work. A little better than sleeping in my car dirty, rundown & noisy. broken toilet, tub drain and bath exhaust fan. upon arrival the window was open (no screen), smelled of smoke (non-smoking room). reserved a king + sofa bed and got a room with 2 queen beds. Constant running toilet and some machine kept turning on every 20 minutes.
The entire hotel was under construction. There was crap everywhere. My room didn't have AC - they had to move me 3 times. The pool was disgusting. Stay away.
nothing grounds were trashed, building lacked upkeep, smelled terrible, no amenities in room, bathtub handle fell off, tv won't turn on, no fridge, outlet hanging out of wall, furniture you could not give away, need i say more?
The room was very old and not updated and dirty. Shower was yellow and leaking. Sink had holes in it
The hotel is run down and very dirty and had a bad odor of smoke. The door to the room did not lock and the hair dryer did not work.
The breakfast was good and there seemed to be plenty of staff around It's a strange place to get to. The room was very dry (and I live in CO) as the heater needed to be run all night. Run a shower for a bit to moisturize the room. But it is a cheaper hotel in the area, I've stayed in most, and is as good as the more expensive places
I booked this hotel on Kayak and the hotel also charged me so I got double charged. The hotel was under construction and I walked through construction debris to get to my room.
Price and location were convenient. Staff was nice. Rooms were not updated and had issues - i.e. Fan did not work. Pool was dirty, hallways/rooms smelled.
The staff was very friendly and polite! They were remodeling while we stayed. Still full price. Messy. Noise all hours. No privacy.
I felt the Restuarant was very lacking. This was true each AM when it seemed no one was in charge that had training for the job. One coffee decanter that would run empty unnoticed by staff. The layout of breakfast and supplies very abstract and seemingly without thought. The courtesy breakfast tickets, while appreciated, seemed a cumbersome issue. My wife as with many other wives comes to breakfast a bit later than myself. This is where it gets cumbersome for what appears to be an untrained staff. The whole ticket thing seems unnecessary as I would seriously doubt that anyone not registered at the hotel would sneak in for a very mediocre breakfast. Overlooked dry egg mix is not a draw anymore than low quality sausage. As I have mentioned the resturant serving area is poorly laid out and very poorly maintained. Our room fridge did not work when we checked in and was never repaired or replaced during our stay although mentioned to staff each AM. Always the same response, I'll mention it to maintenance. Some one was not listening. The fridge remained plugged in but unworking with a very hot compressor. Lip service to customers is NOT enough. Listen and learn.
It was nice It was being remodeled
The staff always was willing to help and always had a smile. The parking was nice as well. Everything but the staff.
The photos don't match the room had been updated and are very clean and beautiful! Very nice staff we waited to be checked in they said it would be 30 minutes and the front desk was able to get us into a room within 10 minutes do to the fact we planned on getting back late we went to the Denver Broncos Green Bay game. Staff was very understanding and help get us check in quickly would absolutely stay there again
Close to highway, convenient Hotel was very dirty. Staff rude and unhelpful. We requested a smoking room and were told that none were available. As I was checking out, someone else who was checking in who requested a smoking room. He was directed to their other property two exits up the highway, where smoking rooms are available. We were not offered this suggestion, even though we were checked in by the same person.
How clean and it smelled really fresh! And it was very clean!! They were a couple of broken outlets, so I told the staff they needed to fix it hopefully they did
Price was lower than most options available. I reserved, paying in advance by Kayak.com, a standard queen room but am pretty sure the bed was only double. Sheets were itchy, wool blankets above top sheet smelled stale and unfresh and were dusty, causing breathing problems throughout the night, resulting in my waking every hour or so and sleeping poorly in between. Front desk badly organized.
The location was very convenient. You get what you pay for; beds and pillows were totally worn out, no shampoo for the showers, noise level outside is high, sketchy neighborhood.
Price Noisy AC Crooked floor Small restroom
Rooms were newly renovated. Price was right. Great place to put your head down for the night. The area was a little sketchy. Ps. Don't got to the restraunt "McCoys" next door... It's a single star establishment.
Nothing Heat didnt work, portable heater from office didnt work. Animals feces and urine everywhere. Dogs barking in rooms all night. Dirty. Ice machine broke Etc....
Friendly and efficient staff Stayed in two different rooms: Lamp broken, vending machine ate my money, sheets and pillows old, pillow cases didn't completely cover pillow (Yuck!), questionable neighborhood, noisy. Overall, the cost for a night was exorbitant when compared with amenities and hotel quality.
Close to two restaurants within walking distance. Freshly remodeled an updated look.
Was missing the closet thing so nowhere to hang my suits, also check out is noon but the lady wakes me up banging on the door at 11:38am. Location is good, but staff shouldn't disturb me during a prayer by knocking on the door the door once and walking in on a naked man, thx
Staff & location were both nice. Door lock was old & didn't work well. Bathroom was tiny.
The room had dead spiders in the corner of the ceiling, hair on the pillows and the bathtub was dirty..
Room was clean. Bed was better than usual, NOT hard as a rock. Staff was RUDE. As cleaning staff came in the morning first thing they did was eat ALL the food that was to be the continental breakfast for the Hotel Guest. None was left for the paying guests. Management just shrugged and did nothing about it. I will NEVER stay in this Motel again, and will think twice before staying at a super 8.
Bed was comfortable Bathroom didn't have a good light so you have to take a shower in the dark, the tv was old, it isn't in the greatest neighborhood.
Great decor. Very clean. Need more parking
budget hotel, tolerable for short stay horrible bed, sheets weren't fresh and appeared used.
Nothing-unless you only need a place to get a couple z's Got there and didn't have my room (they substituted 2 queen beds for 1 king) got to room and it was filthy! Dirty towels were in the tub, trash wasn't taken out and the bed was still unmade
Great location & friendly staff Rooms were dated & door locks were very hard to get open.
Old, run down, and smells funny. They advertised a fitness center and it doesn't exist anymore. Pool wasn't filled when I went. Not worth one penny we paid.
parking lot not maintained, trash everywhere and security lighting was not working. It looks like a Drug dealers favorite place to be.
I only liked the location and price was okay Was too small. Felt and looked dirty. The bathroom at the lobby was really dirty.
Room was small but clean, our windows were over the pool so it was an okay view. AC worked well and kept us cool in the 90 degree heat. We needed an affordable place to stay for a single night and it worked well for us. We plan to book here whenever we have a short stay in Denver. The ceiling and walls were cracked but nothing major. Room looked nothing like the pictures but we weren't expecting it to anyways.
The staff was very nice The room reeked of smoke, the rooms were dirty, A/C didn't work even a little, beds were extremely uncomfortable and sheets were scratchy. All in all it's a great place to test your patience lol
The room smelled bad and the bed was not comfortable atall.
Accessible. Not that far from Denver Airport. Shady. Sketchy characters about. Security that eyes you up like you dont belong.
Rooms were clean All the drug dealers and hookers. Oh ya all the people smoking pot was a joke.
Pool, fairly recently updated, cleaner and more comfortable than expected. No smoking room but it smelled a bit like smoke.
You know what you are signing up for but it could have been kept up better and trash outside could have been picked up
location, value for the money. lack of a microwave in vending area.
booked a non smoking room, but the room was reeking of smoke
AC did not work, room not clean and lot of insects
proximity to airport despite having reservations we had to wait in the office for 30 minutes while two walk-ins were waited on. The clerk seemed to have no care for how long the check-in process was taking her and seemed content to idly chat with the customers and completely ignore the check-in procedures during this time. When the shift supervisor was called on to help her because she struggled to accept payment for wi-fi he completely ignored the crowded office and made no attempt to assist in checking any of us in. 15 minutes per check-in is absurd. The room was non-smoking but reeked of smoke. Nice bed, however.
Nothing was to like, at ALL! Walls were disgusting, Never Cleaned Before? Honestly Never took of my shoes!!! throw up on the side of the chair from previous tenants! Was the Worst, most disgusting hotel I've stayed in, in my life!!! Wallpaper was tearing all around the room, Just very disappointed after paying an outrageous price for what i got.
Location to Mile High! Booking was messed up, clerk agreed to a deal then after check in and I came back to complain about the room smelling moldy she informed me her previous arrangement with me was not going to be valid and made me pay the difference. I was able to get a different room that I could breath in. Sad shape was once a nice place to stay
Not a very good part of the city. This motel is old an in desperate need of repair starting with the check-in desk area. I did not feel safe because of questionable people coming in and out of the front desk, appeared to have nothing to do with spending the night there. I cancelled my reservation right then and went across highway 70 to the motel 6.
As I entered the office, there was a woman who helped me check in, and she was both professional and kind--a mixture that I find valuable in the hospitality business. The layout of the place is a little strange, but it offers good security and has good policies designed to keep down problems with the neighbors. My stay was very quiet and I slept undisturbed. The room smelled nice, and the office chair provided was very comfortable. In spite of appearing to be run down, the place was clean and I encountered no problems during my stay. The quiet of the place is definitely a major plus. Getting to hotel parking from the highway proved to be a challenge during rush hour. People acted as if slowing down to get into the parking lot was a major inconvenience. I also almost missed the parking lot because it wasn't clearly marked. I expected to enter a bit farther away than I did. Some additional signage would be highly beneficial. The carpet was worn and stained, and the mattress had an internal texture that was strange. Though I slept undisturbed, the mattress made it a little difficult to go to sleep. The wallpaper on the corners was worn and there were water stains on the ceiling (the kind you just can't clean, you just have to replace the plaster). The internet was underprovisioned, meaning that there were a lot of people on the same networks. I had difficulty getting online because there were too many people on. And so after multiple attempts, I just stopped trying. The receipt was given to me for the night, and the same receipt the morning after. This is a waste of paper, really, so I wouldn't consider this very "green" friendly. I would like a single receipt, with the option for one at check-in or check-out... not both! For all of these minor problems combined, the loss of one star of rating for me.
- Free breakfast. - Proximity to downtown. - Staff was relatively nice. - Wifi works The meth addled woman yelling at us from the second floor balcony. Also, this is the only time I've ever come back to my room to find it in worse condition than when I left it as a result of room service. They literally just left in the middle of cleaning, on the days that they showed up to clean at all. I repaired the toilet so that I could actually use it. This is not exactly a classy joint, but for $45/night you have probably accepted that. I guess I was amused at the sketchiness more than anything.
The only plus was that I was reimbursed for my staff. Everything. The hotel smelt of death, once I got into my room the carpets were stained with something disgusting, the sheets were so dirty they were gray. Even the walls were dirty! If anyone is passing through and has an option of staying in this hotel or their car, save your money sleep in your car. I'm honestly surprised this hotel was operable. Worst gore experience of my life.
The staff was nice and gave us a full refund after we saw the condition of the hotel. This place was very old and run down. It smelled awful. The hallways had dirty walls that were missing baseboards. And flickering lights. We did not feel comfortable staying here.
I liked the location off the highway This place was disgusting. Dirty, nasty horrible room and lobby. Staff were rude and impatient and not very helpful. There were nasty hairs on bathroom sink, was missing a faucet handle, the bed had garbage on it (empty straw wrappers etc) it was just gross and I will never stay at a travelers inn again - not worth the price I paid
Location Parking lot
I didn't spend 50 on a hotel expecting much, and didn't get much so all is well!
We arrived at 330 to check in. The front desk staff was extremely rude. We were told, after waiting in line for 20 minutes, that our room would be another hour. We had 2 dogs with us that had been in the car since 6am. We were there for a hospital appt. So, an hour came and went and we got no call that our room was ready. Finally, around 5, we stopped back at the front desk and were given a key. The room was dirty, small and smelled like smoke, There were drug deals going on on the corner. This was a horrible experience.
Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! ,Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! Walmart is right down the street and so is downtown Lakewood. Which is beautiful at night! Walmart is right down the street and so is downtown Lakewood. Which is beautiful at night!,
nothing PROSTITUTES. witnessed pimp pick one up in short time i was getting luggage. Took wrong turn initially and there was a cop posted behind the walmart next to the motel, ARMED WITH SHOTGUN. quickly turned around and got to our hotel only to witness a pimp picking up a prostitute (she was yelling to men from a motel room she came out of telling them next time she wanted a skirt?) quickly went inside, only to then witness a cop badger my boyfriend who was grabbing his socks from the car. He made it inside safe when 30 minutes later a person right under our room had gotten arrested, for what I could only assume from peeking out my window and watching the interaction as tweaking out on something. Got out alive and very thankful for the low crime rate of small town Des Moines. True story, will verify if needed.
I like how big the bathroom was. It was a modern bathroom There was evidence of someone smoking inside the room
Luckily, I got a handicapped room which meant the bathroom was huge (the size of the room) and looked brand new BUT. that's where the pros end. The room reeked of cigarettes and gave me a cough the next day, everyone is incredibly loud and have no respect for people sleeping, there was a loud squeaky bed above me that wouldn't let me sleep, and this is the 2nd room we moved to. The first one: the ac didn't work and the door lock was broke. Oh and someone relieved themselves in the toilet and didn't flush. I would spend an extra $25 and stay somewhere much better
A lot of crime in the area... Woken up by sirens and flashing lights in the parking lot two times during my stay.
The door locked... To keep out the homeless and drug dealers. Boogers and blood on the sheets and comferter. Room wasnt very clean. Matress was horrible. Could have spent $20 more on a half decent place. Tom Bodett wouldnt even stay here. Seemed like 3/4 of the rooms had people living in them longterm.
Room was clean, and bed was comfortable. For some reason was given a handicap room.
There was nothing to like about this hotel! The pool was closed and they lied and kept telling us it would be open the next day and it never opened. The room was supposed to be non smoking but reaked of smoke and their were burn holes in the shower and curtains. When I reported it they said there were no other rooms available. We had just traveled 1500 miles and were exhausted or we would have immediately got a new hotel. There were questionable people living in the hotel. A guy that just banged on the door next to ours and yelled for the guy to answer for about 45 min at midnight and then a big dog barked for hours after that. It was just a horrible stay the price was outrageous for what they provided and for the state of the hotel and room. I felt unsafe and it was just awful after traveling for so long I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! You can find a better deal don't stay here!
The location is good, being very close to several major interstate interchanges, allowing easy access to Denver How hard is it to have non-smoking rooms that don't smell like ash trays? I get it that people break the rules, but it seems as if only Motel 6 is incapable of purchasing the deodorants and cleaning supplies necessary. Also, a three inch mattress isn't adequate under any circumstances, but putting a three inch mattress on a wooden plank is a joke.
Paid a little more than I wanted for a motel 6, but was told it had gone through a remodel. And I was desperate to find a place in the area. When I opened the door to the room, I was pleasantly surprised at first. The room did look updated. But after 2 minutes we saw 3 roaches, so I moved my luggage back to the vehicle. The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. The remote to TV did not work. And when I woke in the middle of the night to use restroom, I turned on the light to many more roaches, so I left the light on the rest of the night. When I laid back down, I noticed my sheets had a couple spots on them, after further investigating, they were crusted red and yellowish. That was it. I brought my sleeping bag in to finish the night. My children noticed the roaches, but I didn't wake them to concern them with what I found. I made them shower in the morning, thank god that worked fine. I'm not one to raise hell and come across as someone looking for a free room, so I didn't say anything, I'm sure they already know they have these problems. I just will never stay there again. And I thought others should know what they are getting into. I've heard the saying " you can polish a turd, but you still have a turd when your finished". They put in new tv's, new beds( but used cheap matresses") new showers, new furniture and fixtures, new flooring( flooring is already peeling up). We were returning from vacation in Yellowstone, with 6 other people, always staying in two rooms. We were gone for two weeks and stayed in many hotels and motels on our way there and back. This was the worst by far!!!!! The only good things about this place was location
THERE WAS NOTHING WE LIKED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. The front desk girl Cynthia was so rude we cancelled on the spot after she continued to insult us and roll her eyes THERE WAS NOTHING WE LIKED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. The front desk girl Cynthia was so rude we cancelled on the spot after she continued to insult us and roll her eyes. Still haven't heard back from corporate on what they're going going tl do to resolve our issue
Basically everything!! Loved it! We all decided that we'd come back to this hotel next time we stop in Colorado! The water pressure from the shower head.
It is right off I-70 making it easy to continue on your way. I booked it because it was cheap and available that morning. You can hear outside. The parking is dimly lit. Could barely tell the difference between the white chocolate bar on the sink and the soap in the shower. Both were a little bitter and wrapped the same. On second thought, I think they were both soap.
Staff were helpful when we needed a non-smoking room, we were efficiently given a new room. Empathetic staff. The bugs (roach and a beetle). Cigarette butt on the floor. Tiny space.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't actively inspect, but the room seemed clean. There was a drier outside the front entrance waiting for removal for at least two days making the motel appear run down. Likewise the dumpster visible from the backside rooms detracted from the appearance of the motel. Although there are restaurants and strip malls nearby, there isn't much to do. It's more of a place for getting off the highway for the night. Neighboring motels had neater outside appearance.
Many helpful staff Marcus was awesome Many things were slightly broken like the elevator washer and sink in our room
• Great location if you want to be close to Denver, but not actually stay in Denver. • Easy access to several major Highways • Close to shopping and several restaurants • Clean and Comfortable room • Large, clean and Comfy beds • Very clean bathrooms • Nice hot breakfast spread every morning • Quiet • Pet and family friendly • Friendly and helpful staff Overall we had an excellent experience and would stay here anytime we are visiting Denver. There wasn't enough parking. We had to park next door at a different hotel one night that we stayed out late.
The staff members were top-notch and willing to assist in any way possible. The room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Stay away from the "Tokyo Queen" room if you need more space than just to turn around. It's truly tiny. The only hot entree on the breakfast table was the biscuits and "gravy".
The beds and the waffles at breakfast The floors were sticky in the room had to wear my shoes the whole time and the top blanket was pretty badly stained other then that every things else was perfect
The staff were EXCELLENT!!! Sondra and I believe Tiffany was her name but she had beautiful firey hair. Both were amazing! House keeping was excellent and very nice. The pillows are so comfy and an amazing view of the mountains. It's my fault I should've done more research before I booked the hotel. But one of the main reasons I came to Colorado was to experience legal marijuana and to my surprise I wasn't allowed to smoke marijuana in my smoking room. That would be the only complaint that I have. I really feel you should be able to smoke in a smoking room. I'll stay somewhere else on my next visit unless your policy changes, other than that I will be back to visit Sondra and "Tiffany".....I think.
Clean environment with a friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Was more comfortable to sleep on the floor. Was supposed to check in at 2pm, but the room wasn't ready until closer to 3.
After checking the bed for bed bugs, I was able to get some sleep on a fairly comfortable based. On arrival, I had to walk past smokers hanging around the entrance. Walking in, there was the lovely scent of heavily used ashtray. I hoped that it would be different in my room so I proceeded to the elevator. I got to my room and the moment of truth, opened the door, but there were no angels singing. Instead, the trapped scent of dirty, wet carpet escaped into the hallway, surrounding my senses (at least two). If I had not been so freaking tired, I would have walked away. Instead, I checked the bed for bedbugs, opened the window, and crashed. On a positive note, the water was hot for my shower.
The amenities were great! The breakfast was excellent! The rooms were very modern and appealing. The beds were comfortable and there was just enough room for my husband, two children, and myself. I wish that they would have had a pool. Also, they need a few more outlets for charging cell phones and computers.
Nothinh Worst hotel experience ever, after waiting almost an hour to get checked in we go to our room only to discover that someone else was already staying in the room we walk in with a 9 year old child to find a woman naked in the bathroom getting ready to shower thankfully we didn't get shot after finally getting a new room the manager only offers to refund $10. Won't be staying here again.
The staff was very friendly. I haven't stayed in a Motel 6 since the 80's and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as I remembered. The beds were hard, which I liked. The beds were hard, which the kids did not like. People were smoking in the motel and it stunk. Cigarette smoke woke me up then, shortly after, the sound of someone else's shower woke up the kids. The walls are so thin, it sounded as if a pipe broke in our bathroom. In the morning, the floor of the elevator was sticky and there was a pile of towels outside the elevator covered in something that looked like vomit. The wifi was not working.
Staff was very friendly Room was very small, not very clean
The staff was very friendly for our check-in. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, and the updates were nice. For a no-frills room to crash during a road trip or brief stay in Denver, I liked the location relatively near the airport. I stayed here knowing that wifi would not be included, but it still seems like a mistake. $2.99 should just be included in the price of the room instead of an irritating separate charge for each individual device that is activated. There was also a broken towel rack in our room, but otherwise everything was functional.
The room wasn't very clean and I had to go to the front desk for towels and soap
New and clean room. Close to airport. allowed U.S. late check out at 12pm No breakfast, no free wifi, no free shampoos. Also the cleaning ladies woke us up knocking at the door around 9:30am for cleaning. Which didn't make sense bc check out is at 11am
What did I not like, for the price I paid, at least a hair dryer, a few more amenities
