Pros (+) Very good location, walking distance to metro and ferry pier, approx 30mins to European side for all the main attractions. Hotel very modern and nice looking from outside and well decorated rooms. Amazing view of city (7th floor). Had a room service meal which was delicious and great value. Staff all very polite. Security scanner on the entrance makes it feel safer.
Cons (-) Only issue we had was on the second and third day, our room was not cleaned, had to speak to reception who offered to get it done then, but as it was not convenient they quickly changed towels and coffee supplies etc, then the room was cleaned for the rest of the week.

Pros (+) The staff at DoubleTree By Hilton Topkapi were outstanding and could not do more to ensure the hotel guests were satisfied. The hotel staff utterly exceeded any expectations from a hotel and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel is super clean and so well managed. Pros (+) Really had a luxury feel. Housekeeping comes by twice per day to lay out little extras and chocolate Turkish Delights. Extra water on New Year's was much appreciated, etc. Nice sauna facilities and indoor pool

Pros (+) The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
Cons (-) The hotel is 35 minutes from the airport in the opposite direction to Istanbul so it takes over an hour to reach the city . Also not vet close to the airport. Basically in a poor location for any type of sight seeing. The public areas at the hotel were poor . The terrace bar possibly the worst I have seen with a view of the top of the cement roof and generator/ air conditioning plant ! Restaurant ...
