Reasonable accommodations, short walk from city center
There was no lounge or bar to meet other travelers, so it had all of the hostel accommodations, bunk beds, shared shower etc, with none of the benefits of the fun atmosphere.
Breakfast included. 4 person rooms. Friendly service. Quiet area.
We enjoyed our stay in one of the twin private rooms very much. The breakfast was very basic and so was the room, but everything was really clean and the land lady was the nicest one I've met during my many travels worldwide. She let us in when we first arrived in the middle of the night, helped us with the sightseeing and gave a lot of very helpful advice. In my opinion it was extremely good value for money, it was cheap but still offered free breakfast and very clean rooms. Would stay there again at anytime.
As I said, it was a lovely stay. The only thing perhaps worth mentioning is that the room was very cold at night as the building is pretty old. The covers were really warm though, so it wasn't really a problem, but during the winter I assume it might be.
The position is not bad, if you want to reach the city centre and here you will find the tipical irish favor.
The breakfast is a little poor for Ireland. Wireless is not strong enough to reach the rooms.
It was exactly as expected, a basic and clean good value for money place to stay for a few days
