Pros:I liked the wooded surroundings, the cleanliness of the sheets, the neutrogena bath products, the thick bath towels. I am excited that a pool is coming really soon and that they have mountain bike rentals. The restaurant put you right in the forest for a meal. I ate there twice. I had to wait for my husband to finish at work and they let me read in the lobby for a couple hours. Very friendly. Under new ownership and there are some obvious updates (new restrooms in lobby, a pool, other projects around) I am looking forward to seeing what they are up to next. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this is not the place but its clean and well maintained. So close the the trails and town.
Cons:Some fixtures were still needing updated. No breakfast, but the restaurant was affordable for breakfast (maybe if they offered a voucher toward breakfast at the restaurant?). The AC unit in our room was in need of repair but we didn't need it, the temps were cool in July. Hopefully fixed by winter when heat is needed. The bed was small and I would give it a 6.5 out of ten. Adequate but not luxury.
