Cons: Noise and vibration from electrical unit behind bed
Pros: a luxury hotel, deserving of its membership in Dorchester. Extremely kind staff.
Cons: For the price, ought to include a nice breakfast as in other Swiss hotels we stayed in.
Just 3.5 mi (5.7 km) from the airport, Le Richemond - Dorchester Collection puts you within a 10-minute drive of Jet d'Eau Fountain and United Nations European Headquarters. Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or Ayurvedic treatments, and grab a bite to eat at Le Jardin, which serves Mediterranean cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms at this luxurious hotel offer up nice touches like deep soaking tubs and premium bedding.
Cons: The menu in the bar was very limited. It was a open plan (the bathroom is basically in your bedroom. Most importantly you are one block away from a "sex district" so there were prostitutes all over the place if you take a wrong turn at night.

Pros: 1.Grand Hotel Kempinsky is a luxury hotel, but what was more then excellent was staff attitude , help, and feeling they serve you without feeling they waiting for tips as many times I felt at other hotels, any problem at each level was answered promptly and pleasantly always over any expectations we might have. They give more then necessary on any request like our satisfaction is their only purpose.
The hotel restaurants are excellent , the staff very honest in their help thinking for us benefit. We inquired for a special dish -well the waiter suggested that maybe we should share it as it might be enough for sharing. We got this italian speciality it was excellent and indeed enough for two and it was not the most expensive choice on the menu.
They give us cards for public transport in Geneva good for train, bus or tram, or the boat in front of the hotel to take us over the lake in the middle of Geneva downtown.
Cons: Only point of weakness we found was the slow WIFI in our room, but instead they gave us free wired internet connection super fast both at upload and download. That served any business connection I needed.

Pros: Everything was excellent. They let me check in as soon as the room was ready and later the day of my departure. They had everything I needed, the rooms were excellent, attractive and clean. I will certainly come again.
Cons: To be honest 18 francs for breakfast is a bit high.

Established in 1854, this historic building standing right on Geneva’s iconic rue du Rhone has been renovated and carefully maintained into a stylish boutique hotel, featuring 111 beautifully designed rooms and 16 stunning suites, complete with all of the modern comforts and latest technology.
Pros: Hotel is convenient to the waterfront and rail station.
Cons: Hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The elevators are ancient, slow and can only manage 2 persons with baggage. Probably can't fix this...but room lock technology was not working well. For me and someone else at that same time. Rooms are clean but spartan...lacking any design creativity. Bathtub/shower is too narrow, deep and combination with a smooth floor makes for an awkward (and hazardous) in/out. For the rate I was charged, I expected much better.
Superbly located in the heart of Geneva, a few steps from the lake, facing a quiet green square, the hotel is close to important local attractions as well as the financial district, airport, and exclusive shopping area.
Pros: Amazing service. Their staff is first rate. Newly restored rooms are beautiful and elegant.

Bearing beautiful reminders of its original Italian architecture, the luxury hotel encompasses six floors with 69 guest rooms and 15 suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant, three meeting and event venues and an address that allows for easy exploration of the scenic Swiss city.
Cons: A little far from the main lake area, but not to bad.
Pros: When we checked in they were going to upgrade us for 50 percent more. The room was incredibly noisy The staff was impeccable the room was nice but way to noisy. We hardly slept
Pros: The staff and service
Cons: The food and the food quality was very average. But taking into account the prices and the InterContinental branding, the food was very terrible. I tried a lot of the menu through room service, and was always disappointed in the quality and food prep.
Pros: Friendly, clean, high end amenities
Cons: Room size was average
Cons: Very small bathroom.
Pros: Reception is the best service you get
Cons: They give be best room

Cons: During our first stay the AC system was pretty weak. Paking is a bit difficult.

Pros: The front desk folks were polite and helpful, the wifi worked great, the location couldn't be more convenient.
Pros: The hotel was well located, walking distance to the main train station, and close to lots of walking and tourist areas. They give you a free transit pass for all buses and trams, and the hotel steps from a tram station. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and organized rooms.
Cons: Location is also close to a local red light district, so some of the surrounding areas are a bit seedy, but seedy Geneva is a clean neighborhood in most other cities. Room climate control was not adjustable and room was just too hot in the winter.
