Hôtel Longemalle

Hotel was beautiful, rooms were comfortable and of high standard, location was perfect.

50 CHF per night was added at checkout for having my kid stay with me, and this is not a cost I agreed to upfront. Also, we did not order breakfast, so it cost the hotel exactly nothing extra for my kid to stay in the room with me. If I had known this, I would have booked a different hotel (this has never happened in any hotel I stayed in). Staff in general unfriendly - Did not bother to help with the stroller up the stairs to the elevator (even when they saw we were struggling), asked for an extra towel to be brought to the room only to wait 45 minutes before going downstairs myself to ask again and pick it up. Got a call from the hotel as I was already getting on a train saying that I took the signed copy of the receipt with me (I did not) asking me to come back and return it (I did not go back). I expect a bit more from the staff for 300 CHF/night.

I hated it badly when it was the weekend and I couldn't sleep because of the loud music coming from outside, i literally could tell the lyrics from how loud it was! And the annoying part was when I called the hotel and their reply was "do you want me to go there and tell them to stop the music?" He said it rudely and sarcastically, I mean the least you could offer me is ear plugs? Change my room if you want to be excellent in your customer experience! Never again that's all I can say.
