The bed was great,
The breakfast was definitely Not amazing - they never are. Need to clean exterior stairwells & handrails. Irons in the room would be good also, shower a bit funky getting in, turning it on & trying to no get blasted with cold water.
The yays and nays of Adobe Inn
What I like was that it was very close to where I was headed, that they had a place to eat at the hotel.
the price of the hotel was not what I was promised, the rooms were not up to par. It was honestly not what I was expecting from what I had seen in the photos.
Small rooms // not very currently decorated
Real nice hotel
Renovated recently, comfortable bed and great shower and great free breakfast!!!
A little loud
Seasonal hot tub =( Fantastic room and service!
Our room was incredibly unique! Great bathroom/tub/shower space and an impressive use of the space available to them!
Seasonal Hot tub, only available during the summer season. Not during winter.
Clean, but no breakfast as advertised
The room was generally clean and everything worked fine, except the bathroom window. I had to go outside to push on it to make it lock from the inside.
The 'breakfast' was coffee and packaged pastries. The room was also a bit loud due to thin doors/walls.
Great Value
We needed a place to stay because of weather and the price was super reasonable. Room was updated and clean. Got there late and staff had left key for me. We would stay again.
Budget but O/K
Easy in and out, not a dump by any means, trolley stop right in front, ice machine worked and even though our room was right on the main street it was not noisy. Got up to pee at 2:30 and there were deer walking down the sidewalk.
No complaints
well sized room, large fridge, dining table, central location
hot water did not work first night. bathroom window on groundfloor, facing street, was not blinded nor did it have curtains. people could look right inside. worst was the hotel manager. he was extremely rude and intimidating about hot water issue. room cleaning was sloppy. coffe and donuts were not available in the morning . its a cheap room, but would not go there again. it was just too annoying.
Not bad for the money
Room was clean. One of the cheapest rooms in Durango. Very friendly staff, and pretty close to downtown.
Room small and dated. Mattress like sleeping on a concrete slab. Toilet seat wrong size for toilet. Lights flickered and power plugs not reliable.
A very utilitarian, no frills hotel.
Relatively nice hotel for the money in this town. They have coffee and prepackaged rolls in the lobby in the morning but seem to run out before 9 am. Fairly close to downtown and right next to a trolley stop!! We like that there is a fan and space heater in each room.
Pretty outdated rooms. Shoddy carpet with holes. Getting anything 'extra' like blankets is like pulling an arm around there. Beds are like cardboard. The front desk staff person also dropped a F bomb in front of my 10 year old daughter which I was not pleased with. Definitely a ONE STAR hotel.
Good Location. In Durango, is there is not a bad location.
No plain coffee creamer for shitty coffee.
With a stay at Adobe Inn in Durango, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and St. Columba Catholic Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
