Pros: Nice breakfast selection with outside tables as an option. Staff very helpful. Convenient location to town and shopping.
Cons: Pool was inside, which would be nice in cooler weather, but was overly warm during our summer day. Limited outside decking for catching sun.
Pros: The room was clean and spacious. We welcomed the frig for keeping cold waters. The view is beautiful. I got up to watch the sunrise. Lovely! Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good variety offered at the complimentary breakfast and I enjoyed the small eating area outside. The hotel is in a convenient location for getting to surrounding sites.
Pros: The views from this location are good. The room was clean.
Cons: Pool & spa dirty: Pool enclosure not maintained well. Breakfast & breakfast area very limited. No fitness room. The staff is capable of much more. Our next trip to Ellijay will be to rent a cabin. We won't stay here again.
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Walls were thin, could hear people talking, etc while trying to sleep
Cons: NEVER AGAIN - I made my reservation for a King room for myself and Grandmother.. there was no where for an option to add a small child onto the reservation and fine print stated 'children under 12 stayed free with accompanying adult'..etc so we figured that was why. We booked this hotel WEEKS in advance for a blue ridge train ride trip for my FOUR year old.. only to arrive to be told WE COULD NOT STAY because we had my four year old child with us and he was not on the reservation. VERY stressful as EVERY hotel in Ellijay / Blue Ridge was BOOKED for the weekend. Staff was very rude and not willing to work out anything with us, not even offering to attempt to help us find somewhere else to stay or anything, knowing that I had a child and we had no where to stay!!! We were pretty much booted out the door AND told they would not refund our money because we had booked online and we had to get in touch with who we booked through to see if they would ALLOW us a refund.. REALLY?!!! It was an awful experience and I will NEVER attempt to book with this hotel again, nor would I recommend anyone to.. the rudeness was not necessary. This was supposed to be an enjoyable vacation and instead turned into a nightmare the very first night because of this place. Very Very disappointed.
Pros: The view. The staff were very friendly & upbeat.
Cons: Walls are too thin. Could hear the person/family in the next room.......vomiting & passing gas!! BUT AS LONG AS the HVAC unit was running, all was fine. It did drown out the neighbors.
Pros: The Rooms Were Clean, Well Stocked, And The Staff Were Friendly.
Cons: I Had To Switch Rooms Because A Mistake Was Made On Their Part With My Reservation.
Cons: The non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. The curtains were messed up as was the grill on the air conditioner. I had to move furniture around to cover up the window. The soap on the sink was already used.
Cons: Wifi issues second night, peeling wallpaper and shower head was way to low, like 5' 3"
Pros: Good firm Mattess.....I stayed here only because I was traveling alone and would be there for a very short time. I stay in motels/hotels 120+ nights per year on business
Cons: The room was not clean
Pros: A great location.

Cons: It was $10 more than the competition and I was told that the competition is a nicer place.
Pros: It was a small hotel room but it had everything we needed. It was also clean and very cozy feeling. The owners were also very nice so it was a great deal for the money we spent.
Cons: The beds were small and with 2 people to a bed it was kinda rough, and even though we had 4 people we only got 2 towels. When we asked for more they only had one and it smelled awful.
Pros: Location was great for the many things to do in the area. Within a short distance to multiple state routes, gas stations, restaurants, small town square. Bathroom clean, Hot water needs immediate. Little fridge and small microwave just right for our needs. Great price for a family on a low budget.
Cons: Updating the facility would be a good investment as the rooms themselves are apparently old. Snug room for a family of four. Few electrical plugs so take extension cord(s). Could use in room coffee pot. Room repairs rudimentary. Town cafes still closed for business at 6am.
