Pros: Resort with character. Time capsule of traditional Norge settings. Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful location, enjoyed hiking around the area.
Pros: Very nice breakfast with great views. Very friendly staff.
Pros: Nice breakfast, heavenly beds and å fantastic location.
Pros: Great location and very friendly staff!
Cons: 1 bedsheet was not clean... Does happen
Cons: No Tea and coffee in room

Pros: We had a ground floor, very sunny, room with a view of the river, which was great.
Cons: While we were travelling out of ski season and relatively early in the summer season, the grass outside on our outdoor area hadn't been cut and was a bit unkempt.
Pros: Excellent dinner and especially breakfast
Cons: Coffee maker in room would be nice, but coffee is available in lobby, so no big problem.
Pros: Nice well equipped apartment. Good storage space. Our apartment were on ground floor right to the foss. Lovely sights and the nice relaxing sound from the foss.
Cons: Very well equipped. Only think missing in the kitchen was some small bowls for eg. Cereal. We did not understand why the light on the walking path is on in the summertime.
Pros: Restaurant: food was really good (summer salad fantastic) and waitress nice.
Cons: Warm dishes on choice for breakfast were all cold. Coffee was terrible.
Pros: The location of the property is very good, right next to a nice stream and in a beautiful setting. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. There is a play room for kids in the hotel with a ping pong table and table football.
Cons: The staff wasn't very good at volunteering information, such as the cleaning set up, check out time, facilities on site, etc, so you are left to find these out by yourself (or not). Two out of the three rooms in the apartment didn't have a window which made them quite hot and stuffy. The play area for the kids was a quite a bit run down.
Pros: I really liked the friendly and accommodating nature of staff in the Resort, specially everyone in reception. I had, by mistake booked a self-serviced apartment and I didn't have linen or anything else to cater for the need. The lady at the reception, without hesitation and with a smile changed the booking to a room at the hotel as I told her I had small children and a self-serviced apartment would be a hassle for me. The ambiance in the hotel was really enjoyable. Lots of comfortable areas to relax and have a conversation. The hotel is kids friendly. There's a really nice play room for kids and there's also an indoor area for adults to shoot darts, play table tennis etc. We took a family room and we really got a decent sized room with two double beds for a very reasonable price.
Pros: Location is absolutely excellent. The apartment is big and very well equipped. The team is extremely helpful and responds very quickly
Pros: It was really nice worker and clean most of all I really satisfied with room( room was modern and fine)
Cons: but double bad is little bit small size and make a sound whenever I move. The most painful thing is not soundproofing I could see what was happening in the next room and hallway.

Pros: The breakfast was good. The personnel was pleasant
Cons: The wooden floor was ofcourse noisy and the walls between the rooms were thin, thereby lot of noice from other guests
Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful (and friendly) and put in extra effort to accommodate my allergies, ensuring I had a nut-free breakfast and at an extra early time in the morning because we had an early start!
Pros: Everything (except for the view to the parking) was excellent.
Cons: The rooms with parking view not convenient as you may not open blinds in the morning.
Pros: The staff were quick to move us to another room when we pointed out that the initial room wreaked of cigarette smoke.
Cons: Strangely in such a small town and despite signage it was difficult to locate the front door.
Pros: Young man from the staff members was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom was not clean with hair in the shower and on the sink as well as the not washed toilet. The bed looked like someone was sleeping there 10 minutes ago.
Pros: The rooms are comfortable and quiet, at least for those on the road side it may be not the case for those on parking side.
Cons: Tv was not working, and we received no compensation for that. Restaurant is below average : limited choice for diner, very basic cuisine, but high prices... and no other restaurant around. Breakfast is like diner : very basic. For these reasons, the ratio quality/price is not good.
Cons: There wasn’t a fridge in the room and the room is just next to the parking lot
Pros: It's kind of a trick to see from the road, but drive up the short hill behind the grocery store to get to reception. Haukeligrend is a nice distance from the ferry that arrives in Kristiansand. The rooms are clean and the people are helpful. Dinner is perhaps too limited, but that probably depends on the season. It's about .7 km from the small town, so not quite so convenient for that, but the attached store should have what you need.
Pros: Dinner at the hotel was very good.
Cons: We were driving from Bergen to Kristiansand to catch an early morning ferry. This was a stop on the way, about 1/2 way. It was really not yet "open" for the season, and they were doing repairs, staff hadn't really arrived yet, so it was a rough time to catch them. I think they are probably better for families coming for a week or so to have athletic fun in the area. We are a retired couple who look for other things in our accommodations.
Pros: The breakfast was adequate but the supposedly warm eggs and sausages were cold. The dinner menu was small but had something for all tastes
Cons: Warm food at breakfast should be warm!
Pros: Great hotel. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very welcoming. My room was very clean and spacy. The best thing about the room was an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK, but it seems there were not many people at the hotel that day. Parking in big and good.
