It had the Rocky Mountain charm I was expecting. The bathroom appeared to have been recently updated which was nice. I liked having a mini fridge and microwave. There was no safe in the room. The closet went unused during our stay and could have been more square footage in the room if it were opened up.
small number of units. Friendly, clean & comfortable bed.
The staff was helpful. The room was clean. The noise of the neighbors' air conditioners was annoying.
Was surprised at how spacious. King size bed was very comfortable and the many soft pillows were great. no
Ratio localization vs price The road is close so a bit noisy
Older, a bit of charm, not pretentious, not a chain.
They allowed us to check in just before 10pm. We were there just long enough to leave and then were off the next morning and out of town. All we had to do was leave the key in a box to check out. It was incredibly quiet. We never heard anyone else! Wish the outlets were in a more convenient place to charge our phones overnight. I had to leave mine on the floor, and my friend had to unplug the coffee maker so we had places to charge our items.
Proximity to RMNP Steep parking lot, bathroom door wouldn't close, TV awkwardly connected to extension cord hanging in the air.

The owner was very nice. We had quite a few bugs in the room
Nice view, clean room, and the staff was very professional. No
Everything. The staff is so friendly and the location is by far the best in Estes. They treat you like a friend there! Thank you! -Valerie Craig There wasn't anything we didn't like about this stay!
Friendy and helpful staff, quiet location, comfortable, updated bathroom, No
Family owned, personal staff. Small, and beautiful hotel.
The owners delighted and surprised us with their hospitality, truly making us feel at home. The room was very well kept, had a kitchen, and a fireplace. We watched wildlife from the stream-side hot tub.
Nothing People at reception were rude. Room was dirty with stained towels. I checked out immediatelyl.
The lobby had what can only be described as random junk lying about everywhere. There were three buildings, we were in the far back where a giant tree was in the middle of the parking lot, making parking quite an adventure. The carpet in the room didn't make it to all the walls and there was a moat of dirt surrounding the interior of the room. The linens had holes. There was a light out back that shone right in our window all night through clothes pinned curtains. Finally, worst of the worst, a square yard of mold was on the wall. Do not stay here. It would take a lot for me to ever stay at an Econo Lodge again.
They staff were friendly. The room was VERY unclean. When I say this, please don't take it as someone snobby with impossible standards. I'm not that kind of person. It looked like the coffee maker had never been cleaned (you could see old coffee from multiple uses). One of the beds we pulled back the sheets and found dirt. The picture frames weren't even hung. They were on the floor. The walls were paper thin, so you could hear EVERYTHING going on outside. It's an external access motel. Overall, staff was very nice...room was very dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Room dirty and dated. Pillow cases had hair on them.
The location was good The service was not up to par with other hotels that I have stay at.
Price and micro fridge No housekeeping at all!! Had to go to front desk to get towels! Unkept grounds. Filthy area where ice machine was located. Room was clean on arrival.
Room was clean friendly an fun staff All was fine. Facility was dated but great for our use.
Location. Facility is ready for the bulldozer. Great location but has received no owner maintenance for a long time. It is literally falling apart. Pool is empty and structurally unsound. Sandstone steps loose in places and are a hazard. Towels threadbare and stained beyond recovery. Junk laying around everywhere. The Estes Park Health Department should shut this place down.
Location, within walking distance of downtown attractions. Ice machine works. Disrepair. Dirty. Junk laying around. Linens stained, carpet threadbare, towels thin and torn. Obvious leak in bathroom ceiling, stained shower curtain.
Nothing... The pictures online, were nothing like the actual Motel. My cousin and I had received two separate rooms. The rooms had a awful smell, the room and bathroom was dirty. The "white" towels, were so old and dirty that they looked gray. We checked other reviews and found that there were similar reports and also reports of bed bugs, as recently as the week before. We ended up cancelling the room, we lost out of half of the cost of the room, but the other hotel we found that was $100 more, was a lot nicer. Funny thing was that when we were cancelling the room, the front desk lady didn't even argue with our compliants, it was like she knew.
The view and being close to town.
