Pros: During our three week tour of California this was certainly the best place to stay. The homemade breakfast was amazing, the people so warm and everything according to homey and lovingly decorated and prepared for us. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in.
Cons: Just once, we found a hair in our bed. But that can happen.

Pros: Breakfast was great, staff was wonderful, and the room was clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming and friendly, and we were coming last minute. Breakfast was delicious! Our family room was perfect for a family of 4.
Cons: It is a historic property so pluses and minuses. The hot water pipes are somewhat noisy, but this was not a big issue for us.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: could of used a desk or small table in the room with chair
10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast in house, was delicious. The host was fun to talk to. And knowledgeable.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Imperial Hotel in Amador City, you'll be a 3-minute walk from John's Gallery and 7 minutes by foot from Amador Whitney Museum. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with character and historical interest. Quality amenities and personal touches that make it comfortable and welcoming for a relaxing stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was French toast/sausage, coffee & juice. Very good. My wife, Phyllis and I love history so the Imperial Hotel was a great find.
Cons: No complaints. We hade lamb for dinner and was very happy with our selection. Our server Erin was pleasant and even let me sample several local beers before I settled on one. The cook Ethan was very nice and we were able to compliment him on his cooking skills, vegetables were delicious :)
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was nice - we could sit outside on the patio. The room had a huge spa-bathtub, which was nice to for relaxation.
Cons: The room had no telephone, no TV, and no wifi (and we had no cell signal up in the mountains). The people next to us had two huge dogs that barked at us every time we came out of our room - giving us a heart attack!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, good breakfast, clean fresh room
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This place blew us away. Style, historical fidelity, service, food - all way beyond what I'd expected. It's the only hotel in town (well, that was open during our stay). Ditto the only restaurant. Difficult to imagine they have no competition when they do such a great job. The staff have that ownership mentality that makes an enormous difference - such pride in their work, their hotel and their town. We arrived hot and sticky after a long and difficult day. Check in was a breeze - efficient and trusting - and after a quick shower we were enjoying a drink in the evening sunshine, refreshed and glowing.
Cons: Breakfast is limited -- but then there were only a couple of rooms occupied. Can't have been more than 6 guests total. And what there was, was fine - fruit, yogurt and granola plus bottomless coffee served with a smile. One of the serving staff came out to chat to us - literally, we spent a half hour quizzing him about his background and local recommendations. Super helpful. Where else do you get service like that? It was like staying at a close friend's home - that's the welcome and the joy that radiates around the place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location. We.were able to listen to live music from the balcony.
Cons: There is a large staircase to get to the rooms.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It's a very old historical hotel, that was built in the 1800's. It's in a Very small cute little town.
Cons: I didn't find anything that I didn't like. My husband was disappointed that there are no TV in the bedrooms. I like that it's an old historical building and I think that a TV would have ruined the old time environment.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good bar and restaurant. Excellent place to stay if you wish to explore the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Excellent full breakfast included. Clean room. Great location.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect getaway-from-it-all location for a peaceful night's sleep after a wonderful Kenny Metcalf as Elton John concert at Helwig Winery! Great location. Lovely home. Unique room. Scents of lavender wafting throughout the space. Alice is a pleasant host and pays attention to the little touches.
Cons: I (55 yo female) found the bed a bit too firm...not bad...but I'm used to a topper. Just something to be aware of if that's a problem for you.

10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely house and a lovely host on a beautiful property.

7.3 Good
Pros: Located in the Shenandoah Wine country is great.
Cons: The breakfast was very meager.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly front staff
Cons: Called to check in but was rushed on the phone
7.0 Good
Pros: Bill was extremely nice and helpful! We truly enjoyed our stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Owner strived to make us and our large wedding group welcome. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Upstairs rooms have wonderful pillows. Downstairs pet friendly rooms were conveniently located near the dog potty area. Great views for eastern rooms. Also, great gathering area a little way away from the hotel so guests could get together without bothering the hotel after hours. York patty's in the room were appreciated!
Cons: Several guests had the reservations canceled and had to rebook at the counter causing severe stress. All the same, the issue was rectified but if the staff hadn't told guests "your reservation was canceled, I don't know why" and just fixed/rebooked them without letting on there was an issue the stress would not have been caused. Also, I was notified 3 separate times that it is best to call to make the reservation- rather than online.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the bedroom window is idyllic - rolling hills, golden grass and oak trees.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ken and his team are awesome hosts. They go out of their way to ensure you are welcome, comfortable and have all you need to make your stay an excellent experience.
Cons: We wish we could have stayed longer!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Bed was comfy and there so many extra nice things!! Wine glasses and awesome opener, makeup remover towels and a basket of goodies!
Cons: Breakfast was minimal, but better than nothing!
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable room with a beautiful room out the back of the property
Cons: Did not get the promised 2 bottles of water, peppermint patties and there was no Kleenex in the room. Found a dead roach in bathroom. A large quantity of wasps flying around the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great!! Very comfortable and the price was right.

7.0 Good
Pros: it was a nice place but over priced . and I told them that the toilet would not flush and they said oh yes that happens ?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Book the suite! Very comfortable and spacious, with great views of the river and valley. Staff was great and breakfast was healthy and filling. Our anniversary fell right in yhe middle of two weeks of travelling with our kids and friends. Left the kids with the friends and escaped to Bella Vista for a night. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Our stay was too short.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was gourmet quality and filled us up for the rest of the morning. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the facility was well maintained and comfortable. We loved the pool and jacuzzi in the back, and the view from our room was breathtaking. I am already planning on returning to this B&B next year!
Cons: Too bad that it is not closer to home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was very accommodating even though we were delayed arriving. Beautiful views!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Claudia was the main hostess on the property. She was lovely and one of the best parts of our stay. Walking in felt like a breath of fresh air and was accompanied by a lovely view with a great natural stone styled pool and "beach" that blended in with the landscape. The pool even has a water slide and hot tub we enjoyed almost every night! I had a massage with Barb the day before the wedding for 60 minutes she made time stop and melted all my muscles and problems away!! HIGHLY recommend a massage with Barb if nothing else! She was lovely and really cares about the people she works on. Loved being able to go out and see the stars every night and be in nature. Breakfasts were delicious and not over filling. We stayed in the area for a wedding and felt very comfortable in the bed and breakfast. We came up for the weekend for a wedding and found this place close to the venue. Great place for a secluded romantic getaway. PS. Be sure to give some hello boops to the little black hospitality kitty Muffin who is usually perched on the front steps.
Cons: Guest who stayed in the Rio Vista suite - With everything I have enjoyed of this place I will say it is unique. To call this place "boutique" and "remote" is an understatement. I am a nature lover and appreciate a good secret luxurious getaway in the woods as much as the next girl. However the location was out of the way and if I wasn't going to a wedding up here I would never have stayed in the area. Placerville is sweet but rarely have a reason to visit. The next option was a Best Western, but we wanted to splurge a bit so we decide on the BnB. Looking past the overall appearance to the room and property I couldn't help but notice a few things. It was as if the maintenance may have been put off for a few months or even years. Some aspects seemed to be painted over or forgotten completely. This is NOT a place for a modern millennial needing strong wifi, and if you have AT&T, better bring a book and download those Netflix movies ahead of time because there is NO SERVICE FOR AT&T customers and their "guest" wifi wont even let you stream any videos AT ALL. Again, I love nature so it was ok with me and let me unplug from my social medias. I then tried watching TV and the TV was broken. Cracks in the wall painted over with discolored paint. I went to shower and the shower had cobwebs and was discolored. I went to the fake beach to read and there were shards of broken glass in the sand by the fire pit. I went to the Koi ponds and it looked like no one had cleaned them in months. The pool had dead bugs and leaves in it. Also had the smallest suite and the bathroom was LITERALLY a closet with an extra door. Very overpriced and under managed. This place seemed to have a higher reputation in 2008 and is still living off of that. It seems the details have been put to the side.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property had beautiful views and close to the attractions we wanted to see. The inn keeper was very friendly and gave us goo information,
Cons: Our room was near the driveway. I would spend the extra money next time for one of the view rooms that looked great. My fault I was trying to save money
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was polite and very helpful. Great view from the room. Room balcony was private. Room was very nice.
Cons: Other guests dominated the pool and jacuzzi for the duration of our stay. However, the morning of our check the staff turned on the jacuzzi for our use before our departure.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: If you're looking for a quiet, upscale property, nestled in trees, you will love The Bella Vista. Kathleen, one of the owners, is, in my opinion, the perfect host. She's relaxed and very friendly, yet leaves guests totally alone to enjoy the solitude. We felt like friends that were given carte blanche in her home. The Bella Vista suite, also called the honeymoon suite, is exceptional. (As a matter of fact, the entire inside of the home is in pristine condition, with many beautiful antiques.) We also have to give high kudos to the chef. She made us a delicious breakfast each morning of our stay, and Kathleen served it on our private sundeck. ( Which overlooked the forest, pool and beach.) Our va-ca took us whitewater rafting during the day, (which was a blast!) then we returned to our private retreat and re-energized in the jucuzzi. When our hosts suggested the Majestic for dinner, we were thrilled. How great to find a casual, very yummy fine dining restaurant just a few miles away. One hint I might pass along is to not drive into Placerville for dinner until you know the extraordinarily winding, tree laden road. It's very dark at night and difficult to find the B&B entrance. If you're looking for a great B&B in a gorgeous, lay-back environment, I highly recommend The Bella VIsta.
Cons: We felt the price was a little high, but everything else was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the pool area and a delicious breakfast was served on the balcony in our room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating! The meals were fantastic! The location was idyllic and the hotel was gorgeous!!
Cons: Pool wasn’t available yet. The plumbing wasn’t up to par in the outside restroom tub. And,there was building debris stored in that area nearby that outside restroom , where a dead mouse was encountered. Mosquitoes were starting to get active, so some abatement measures might’ve helped ie. Citronella candles/torches

7.0 Good
Cons: Heater was too loud. It’s old and need to be replaced
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice property and clean room.
Cons: The only negative in my opinion was that all the breakfast options were starchy/sugary. The only protein to be found was hard boiled eggs, which I didn’t feel like peeling.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Always had a smile and just very wholesome people. The room was very clean and cozy. The water was hot for the cold weather outside! We are definitely returning again soon!
7.0 Good
Pros: We stayed there just one night on the way to mountains. That is probably the main reason why most of the people stay there. It is a standard motel, with standard facilities. Matched the expectations.
Cons: Heater could have been more quiet.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Fairly basic for the cost Small rooms
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good communication with the staff
9.0 Excellent
Pros: There are not a lot of options in Pollock Pines for hotels. We tried the other one and while it is cheaper, this one is better, quieter, more peaceful, better maintained, and includes breakfast, internet, and parking.
Cons: Could have been a little bit cheaper.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, great room and bathroom size, good breakfast!
Cons: Unreliable WiFi and seemed a bit pricey for the location
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice place and good for going ski. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Not much parking in the property. Location is convenient to go to ski (right next to hwy 50) but there's not much around (limited restaurants etc) Breakfast was basic and some things ran out after an hour
8.0 Excellent

Cons: The room was no smoking, but it was smelling tobacco
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The King Suite was very spacious, almost like an apartment!

Located in Somerset, Lucinda's Country Inn is in the mountains, within a 10-minute drive of Windwalker Vineyard and Perry Creek Winery. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful B&B with very nice owners. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Great B&B along with being located near all the Fair Play wineries.
Cons: We received a room on the bottom floor of the main house. It was great except the couple in the room above us were laughing, watching an action movie, and every step was easy to hear. The couple were probably speaking in normal voices, yet the noise easily passed through our ceiling until almost 1am. We will stay there again, yet next time we will stay in the top floor, or in their independent cabin. Ron
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very much a bed and breakfast. Great food, beautiful location.

Cons: All perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Artichoke quiche was very tasty and the oak apple sausage for breakfast was delicious. Fran and Mike were very knowledgeable about the area having spent most of the lifetime there.AA
Cons: The mattress was a little soft for my liking.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I live in Sacramento and wanted to get away for my birthday weekend so we chose to go to Apple Hill, primarily to engage in “high elevation” wine tasting. We stayed at North Canyon Inn because of its proximity to Apple Hill, and we’re glad we did. The Inn was comfortable, clean, and only minutes away from several Apple Hill vendors, wineries, and the Jack Russell brewery. We stayed in the room with the Jacuzzi which was very spacious. Fran and Mike were a delight and treated us more as personal house guests rather than customers. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area or looking for a weekend getaway.

1.0 Poor
Pros: The street away from this place
Cons: For my window was a big machine it was working the hole night and day. It was terrible noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old (historic) hotel Very nice staff. Super comfortable bed. Right downtown. Walk to shops, restaurants. Small farmers market Wednesday evening. 5 star experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was like stepping back into another time.....loved the old elevator and the special touches in the room.
Cons: The noise that continued past 2 a.m. outside our window. Sounded like a fun party on the street but it made it difficult to sleep.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Feels like in a museum, The lift is funny
Cons: The broken and very loud (clonking noises) air con for the building on the street kept us from getting a good night's sleep; upon mentioning that next morning : "oh yes we know, the room is super loud. I am sorry" was all we got as a response in a somewhat annoyed tone
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent comfortable bed. Location is ideal, plenty of great restaurants and shops. It’s fun to sit out on the balcony and watch all the downtown activity.
Cons: Can be a little noisy from the street, but to be expected due to location. Have stayed there 3 times and only once did street noise get a little loud. Will continue to frequent this hotel as it’s a great stay with lots of downtown food and shops.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed in a queen that was two rooms with a bath between. The king is a large single room with a nicer bath. Fridge and 2 burners (dated) 70's. The view from the balcony is wonderful.
Cons: I think the place is a fantastic bargain, been twice in the last two weeks. The second floor has the balcony. I sat outside my suite imagined I was with Horace Greeley, Mark Twain below in the crowd. Go west young man go west!
6.0 Good
Pros: The history of the hotel is overwhelmingly obvious. Not in a bad way, but after reading some of it you can understand why some things are the way they are. Great location.
Cons: Eh - got confirmation that we were getting a deluxe queen suite, but we actually got a room with a full sized bed at best. The lock to the bathroom didn't work, and the heater was loud. also i didnt see any ghosts. Next time.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location I guess is good. Free parking but it's a little far away.
Cons: The noise is a bit much. If you have a room near the balcony just note that people will walk right by your window. They can see directly in your window. They are able to stay out on the balcony until 10:00 and be as loud as they want to be. So you will feel like they are in your room. I was never told anything about the balcony at check in weather it was a public or private space. I've stayed here two other times and I have all three visits find the noise to be too much. The first two times I was like okay it's an old hotel and gave it a pass. The balcony issue I just can't be silent on that issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I grew up in Placerville but had never been to the Cary House. I had always heard about it so when I had the opportunity to stay there as a tourist in my old hometown, I did. It did not disappoint. The staff were all courteous and very friendly. You do need to understand that this is a historic building, so certain things are going to be old or less convenient - like the elevator and hot water may take longer. But the room was huge - a nice sitting area, kitchenette, separate bedroom and well sized bathroom. There wasn't any traffic noise even though I was directly overlooking Main Street. The location was perfect for exploring the quaint downtown and the hotel arranges for overnight parking in a nearby lot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location. Close to everything you need!
Cons: Bed was a bit hard. In room coffee was terrible!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Interesting historic hotel in a busy little town.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Someone had a key card that worked for our room and they used it at 3:20 AM. Fortunately the door had another lock but this is unacceptable.

Pros: Air conditioning worked great; room was clean and odor-free; staff was very nice.
Cons: The location is not bad, but pretty far from downtown.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location and affordable. I was by myself and basically just needed a bed and bathroom.
Cons: Everything was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value with clean comfortable rooms!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly front desk. Rooms extremely clean.
Cons: If you don't like stairs ask for a downstairs room
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was great. The staff was kind and helpful.
Cons: The room was as clean as a run-down, dingy, dated, motel could possibly be. The mattresses were old and lumpy, and the pillows virtually nonexistent. With that said, the hotel was a good value for the price.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Although the motel is situated next to a freeway, it was very quiet. The clerk was super-friendly and had an answer to all questions we rised. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The very good service more than compensated the rather high age of the site and the other disadvantages listed above.
Cons: The motel is located a little bit outside in a non-charming area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and the room were well worth 65.00
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was great. We asked for one extra towel and two minutes later she brought us a complete extra set! It's an older property but clean and with all the basics of the pricier chains.

6.8 Good
Pros: The clerk, she was very nice and friendly!
Cons: The burnt out bathroom light, which they didn’t have a replacement for. We had to shower in the dark, with small children. Not fun! The beds and pillows were terrible. I tossed and turned the whole night.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Room and facilities good. Breakfast basic but ample. Laundry available next to swimming pool. Short drive to Walmart supermarket. Ample parking.
Cons: Breakfast served on paper plates and plastic cutlery.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: You should advise people that there are no elevators so expect to climb the stairs with your luggage.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean. We even had hardwood floors. The pool and hot tub were also a plus.
Cons: Our toilet clogged and they couldn’t get any maintenance to the room, luckily that was the morning of check out. Also the walls are really thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallway
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the welcoming landscaping, the staff was courteous and kind, my room was convenient, comfortable and large.
Cons: Can’t complain about anything.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The tv on the wall didn’t move at all and their was no DVD player so I couldn’t plug mine in which was really upsetting
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel is older, but overall clean.
Cons: The walls are incredibly thin and the freeway was right out our window. We listened to the people above us walk around and the thin poor insulation made it sound like they had cement shoes both late at night and early in the morning. Bed hard and pillows lumpy. :(
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Service was great and room was clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very nice breakfast room.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a quaint location. Kinda resort like. Being next to a Mexican restaurant helped. Right off the highway and lots of parking.
Cons: As a trucker, not able to park on property. Had to park across street and walk up hill with belongings. No elevator. My room was on end closest to road. VERY NOISY intersection and thin walls/windows.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Diana and her family are amazing hosts. We love visiting their Inn.
Cons: N/A
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location and nice sized clean room, reasonable distance to nearest town and Casino. Good room rate for what you get.
Cons: Bedspread on bed was shredding, only negative, and needed to be replaced, it served it's purpose with two lifetimes of usage over what it was warranted for. Not a big deal or deal breaker. This town's motel is in an isolated area that is lacking in restaurant options. A 20 minute commute to food places to eat. Would stay there again.
6.8 Good
Pros: I didn't know about the breakfast. We loved the location, especially the back door patios looking out to the cows. Very peaceful. We slept very well and the room was physically comfortable.
Cons: Though we slept very well and were comfortable in our rooms, the person cleaning needs to spend about an hour more in each room (if they all looked like ours) paying a lot more attention to the details. Everything had been cleaned, except never under the beds, but quite hastily. Many marks on the walls, up in the corners, hair in the bathtub/shower, and the floors were very badly stained. With no fan in the bath room, perhaps put a screen on the window for when we have to open it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very clean, dog friendly was able to walk my dog in the woods behind ,pool was clean. Peaceful
Cons: Ice machine was always empty.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: No Pool towels Took 15 minutes to get response at front desk
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great, room was quiet and comfortable, and I liked the location.
Cons: The shower had low water pressure and remote for the tv mostly didn't work. Couldn't turn tv on or off, couldn't turn volume up or down and could not enter channel you wanted. Only function that worked was channel up and down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s clean and comfortable and the manager makes you feel welcome.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: loved the surrounding view. The pool had a great view of the trees and felt like a secluded mountain resort. I liked that it felt like a good place for family and friends to gather. I also loved the back patio that was adjoined to the room. Staff was very friendly!
Cons: I didn't really care for the bathtub. You could tell that the tub floor had been repaired and I felt like it was fragile and that I might break through it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: pool area nicely done, relaxing environment. visit of Volcano town and Grinding Rock state park with Indian village only a few miles driving away.
Cons: adjacent restaurant out of service, Need to take car to get food (or be prepared to use barbeque facility in pool area). No sun screens for top windows, quite hot in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager (Diana) was so sweet! We had our dog with us and the vibe was so welcoming! The pool area is amazing! Will be staying here again
Cons: Only downfall (not really for us but maybe for some) there is zero cell service in the area

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bang for the buck. Room was quite large with all the amenities one would expect. Very clean. Extremely satisfied.
Cons: Could have had a wall hangar in the restroom. But not a big deal, I'm just nit picking.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Shower area not clean, cracked tiles. No Kleenex, blow dryer or hangers. Mattress hard.
4.3 Okay
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: OLd run-down property. Linoleum pealed up in bathroom floor, no breakfast, check-in clerk unfriendly and unable to understand due to heavy accent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge - lots of space to spread out, and very quiet. Very comfortable.
Cons: The room was great but I felt certain things like the carpet and shower area could have been a bit cleaner. This would not prevent me staying again - it’s just a suggestion that would make the experience much nicer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very big and confortable room
Cons: Noise from highway
5.0 Okay
Pros: It seemed to be fairly clean and was definitely roomy.
Cons: The person in the office was very unfriendly and spoke about two words. The bed was not very comfortable. There was no TV guide or any other information in the room. The following morning the toilet did not work. Evidently there was no water in the tank.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wouldn’t consider it an exceptionally romantic place to stay, like sitting out at the picnic table having coffee in the morning that area could possibly have more plants around it or landscaping
Cons: There was not anything that I actually did not like.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was clean and bed were comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large room two beds
Cons: A bit older motel but clean. Tight parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious & came with coffee maker, fridge & microwave. Free wifi provided worked with no issues. Pear trees on the property, so we were able to harvest a couple for breakfast! Run by a kindly couple, warm & friendly.
Cons: TV is so-so. Don't expect a fancy HBO package. Toiletries are meh, single-use tear open packets, so I used my own. Small front office, no breakfast or sundries, come prepared.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On bottom floor nice easy to get to our vehicle being handicapped. Air good nice beds comfortable. Big bathroom. Nice having balcony. Beautiful view. Most things nice.
Cons: Stained carpets but was fine smelled clean.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well kept gardens and pool. Exceptional cleanliness throughout.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: the rooms need to be remodeled .they book thru booking.com so they don't have to refund if you cancel because you don't like the room'the hotel told me when I checked in that they would not charge me for days if I left early.I know you have to cancel early ,I gave six days notice.I was charged a security deposit which I hope I get back. the hotel has a problem with drugs and alcohol. would not recomened staying there.

8.0 Excellent

5.8 Okay
Cons: A lot of vagrants hanging around. Homeless folks in the back making bonfires and sleeping outside bathroom window. Loud drunken talk at night, Hard to sleep and just plain weird and uncomfortable atmosphere.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Was running late for a wedding, manager drove us since Uber would take to long.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are very clean, staff is very kind and attentive. Water pressure is nice and hot. Place is being remodeled,I stay here on regular basis and would not go any other place, I have been very happy here and I'm here every week. I'm so glad I didn't go by the reviews, I came here to see the rooms instead and glad I did, I looked at 3 different rooms.I have been very happy here.
Cons: I didn't like the bad reviews ppl left my advice is come check the place out for yourself don't listen to the reviews that are negative because they are false. And it's been my experience when they keep the deposit it because people are unruly destructive loud and disrespectful. And I would be guessing if this was your property and people were like that you would definitely keep the deposit to so if you're trying to come here and party and be stupid on the property expect to lose your deposit. And make deposits only $50 unlike the place down the street the deposit is $100
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We asked for help with the TV controller, help came within minutes and was so very polite. Fixed the problem. The room wasn't fancy but clean and quiet. Good air conditioner and good shower.

Cons: Bathroom light over sink did not work.

Cons: head fell off the first time I touched it. The water pipe from the wall had threading, however, the shower head had not one ioda of shredding. Oops!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: A filthy room, renting rooms to low income families that live in the rooms and make loud noises all night will never stay there again horrible place and horrible people running the place
6.3 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Tiny room, shower faucet handle difficult to use.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a quaint little motor lodge. The room was good, with flat screen TV, coffee pot and refridgerator.
Cons: Well, the pool was invisible. And the dumpster was two doors down, full and smelly.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: I was sent to 3 rooms before I got one that had been cleaned, had sheets on the bed, & wasn't occupied. The first night someone knocked on my door asking to look in my room because they thought they left a gun in the dresser. People apparently live in some of the rooms. My second night i heard one of the "Residents" knock on the room next to mine, & ask if he had a cell phone & if he would order him a pizza & have it delivered to his room. People on the other side of me screaming at each other till 2:am. Shady place in the WORST part of town. Bizzarr behavior by seedy people. Terrible!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having a refrigerator and a microwave and a quiet air conditioner was all I needed for to be comfortable and have a great night sleep. Great place for a great price
Cons: There are more than a few previous reviews that are not true
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact the vending machine sells a can of soda for 2 bucks......very swanky.
Cons: I think i could have enjoyed perhaps a 7 or 11 dollar can of soda with my 65 dollar a night price range for lodging.......just regoddamndiculous.....

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location worked well for touring National Parks. Beds were clean and AC worked!
Cons: No breakfast offered at hotel. Only found fast food/Denny's type restaurants. Bathroom walls were dirty, glass sliding track had hair in it as well as black mold. Room baseboard area was very dusty.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent and the ammenities we're good.
Cons: Furniture was outdated slightly.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: it all sucked
Cons: in addition to the hotel being a flee bag. the owner is the most unfriendly person Ive dealt with in public. I asked a few other patrons how they felt and they all said the same thing. the guy acted liked you were not welcome from the moment you set foot in the lobby
5.0 Okay
Pros: Roomn was clean
Cons: The Internet password wouldn’t work so I couldn’t go wireless, and the television didn’t work.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My family is from the Placerville area. Often I'm visiting one of them. Some inner city Sacramento hotels offer better pricing, but security is often an issue. Gold Country Inn is quiet, far enough away from inner city crime, yet close enough to take care of my reasons for visiting the area.
Cons: Wish it had in room coffee makers and a continental breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Although the building was obviously older, everything had been remodeled. It was clean, comfortable, and worth the money.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was pretty good just a couple minutes from downtown Main Street and beautiful Placerville the room overall seems a little dated but it was clean I'd probably use them again
Cons: The room didn't have a coffee pot which I found really surprising and no hair dryer
7.5 Good
Cons: Would like a coffee pot in room.
5.4 Okay
Cons: Needs to be updated. Very old decor.expensive for what you get.no breakfast just pastries and coffee
6.8 Good
Pros: Large room with plenty of pillows. Even though it was near the freeway, the room was quiet and peaceful. Close to Starbucks.
Cons: I would have liked that the refrigerator and air conditioner were turned on prior to our arrival. Nothing is less inviting then a stuffy room. No instructions on how to to use the TV. Had to spend a few minutes figuring out how to turn on the DirecTV box. The bathroom was clean ?, but there was old pieces of soap/wrapping on the top of the shower frame.
5.8 Okay
Cons: We requested to leave suitcase before checkin, but was refused.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Comfortable king-sized bed.
Cons: Was NOT able to connect to the wifi EXCEPT when in the office. TV satellite reception was spotty and often was not connected. Office staff seemed unconcerned about guest experience. Frequent comments were, "I'm connected. My TV is working. I'm not an IT person." For real?!?!?!
