Pros: The Gingerbread Mansion is a wonderful hotel and is perfect for a weekend getaway. The mansion is beautifully decorated and they leave the unoccupied guest rooms open so you can explore. The food was delicious and there is a great little happy hour with wine and snacks each day. I highly recommend!
Pros: We loved it from the moment we pulled in. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable- the staff was beyond helpful. We checked out and forgot some items in our mini-fridge. Went back several hours later and they retrieved the items for us and even went back a second time to make sure nothing else was left. There were snacks available in the lobby throughout our stay as well as coffee and tea, not just during breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast could have been a little warmer but still a good variety of food.

Cons: Breakfast underwhelming. Thought we would have hot tub. No pool, no hot tub.
Pros: Clean room. Beds quite comfortable. Friendly, professional staff.
Cons: Hair dryer didn't work. 9v battery backup in clock radio was dead - had to reset clock after unplugging to move it.

Pros: Location; we spent a couple of days exploring the area. Food at the hotel is good, and corkage fee was only 5 bucks at Gallagher's.
Pros: We fell in love with this off the beaten path hotel build in the 1920's style. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel and breakfast is included. If you plan of visiting the redwoods and are looking for a cute place to stay with old time charm this is the place.
Pros: The inn itself was absolutely georgeous and decorated in an antique fashion which highlighted it's historic beauty. Pub was open late serving food which was great since other restaurants in neighboring cities had already closed. Comfy and cozy at an amazing price!
Cons: My phone wouldn't hook up to their wifi, but that may just have been my phone being funky and not really a problem since I had service in the area.
Pros: Beautiful building in a lovely location. Very nice staff. Excellent pub style restaurant in the building.

Pros: The staff was pleasant but I kept needing to ask for many things such as:
sugar free powder,
do not disturb sign
key needed replacing everyday
At first glance everything looked clean but it was not.
They put a large decorative dirty pillow on top of the pillows your face will go on and the comforter sits on top of the clean sheets so you feel as if the sheets that are supposed to be clean have just been dirtied.
Its all the small details that make a hotel comfortable that are missing here. Also, there are signs everywhere that this is a non-smoking hotel but i found tobacco on the steps each day and over the course of 3 days I smelled tobacco usage daily on the steps and in the hallways. And the free breakfast is the biggest joke.
When visiting Fortuna, The Redwood Fortuna Riverwalk Hotel is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Pricing was as normal, they didn't jack prices $100 for graduation
Cons: Not enough towels. No in room coffee. No brunch. No free wifi
Pros: The room was average in most ways.
Cons: Impersonal and unfriendly desk clerk who acted as though customers were a nuisance to his TV watching in his private back room at the check in desk. Staff shouldn't treat customers like they're doing them a favor.
Pros: Staff was friendly, room was clean! Near room parking so could see vehicle. Quiet stay.
Cons: Would stay again
Pros: The price and location. The guy that checked me in was nice
Cons: It was under renovation but in the long run that's a good thing
Pros: Very nice and clean
