The hotel is integrated in the medieval city walls with a magnificent garden and an excellent restaurant. They have a pottery shop that sells lovely artisan painted terracotta - a shame we flew, so we could only bring some small items... Staying here is a huge treat!
The hotel is very charming with all the oldstyle deco. The restaurant was in fact also booked for weddings. The spa was nice even if very small and not to be used for more than 2 persons at the same time. The lounge is bigger than the whole spa area itself! The cost of the spa (jacuzzi, sauna and steamroom) should be included in the price which is high for a 3 star hotel. Also, the fact that weddings make noice until late night is not acceptable for other hotel guests, sleeping right next to the restaurant court yard, where they have parties. The cleaning of the room was another issue. There were really dirty also on the areas outside the room (in front of room 144).
Hotel staff was fantastic, rooms were beautiful and the wine at the hotel is great!
We stayed at this place four years ago.The facility had a certain charm to it. The breakfast has deteriorated a lot since we stayed there four years ago. We bragged about the excellent breakfast and convinced our fiends this was a great place to stay with us.we also told them bout Paula. Regretfully she is no longer involved with the breakfast and we certainly miss the old room.
great hotel kept in charming old fashioned style. nice indoor pool, and great restaurant. evening waiters at restaurants are very friendly. the staff is not helpful. at the reception we were told that breakfast was until 10.30 arrivingg after 10.00 nothing was left and waiters took out the food in front of us, saying we were late and not offering to bring us any food as croissants that they had left and brought to the kitchen. also the cleaning ladies were not informed about departures, but came knocking on the door, whwn we told reception to inform them about departures so they don't disturb we got a really rude answer. really bad service and a shame for a good hotel like this.
This hotel is inside the Chianti zone. few kms from Florence. I found a relaxing context in a romantic scenario. The resturant have a good offering of typical Toscana food. The room was clean, in old style and the employee was kindly. Maybe the hotel need more indication on the roads of figline valdarno. I found it only with the help of my GPS system.
The place was clean, the room was pleasant, the swimming pool was an advantage, and the staff was very polite and helpful.
Breakfast very poor, internet connection wirrless only by pay, Not enough chairs in the garden only 10 and that for a SPA
This is a beautiful hotel and area to stay in. What a view of the country side from our room my husband and I loved it. The hotel is clean and all common areas very comfortable. The restaurant served us a great meal.
Staff was very helpful even calling ahead to a pizzeria on Sunday to be sure it was open. A luxury hotel that is not quite luxury. For example my room was very spacious, but had almost no natural light due to very small windows.
rubbish underneath our balcony!!!!! :((((
uitstekend cuisine It was summed up by the brochure....beautiful and expensive glossy colour photos, but nobody had taken the trouble to check the use of English. One lift (blocked by cleaning staff) and no stairs to the room, inadequate parking, poor lighting in the room all showed the lack of attention to detail, despite the fortune spent on the building. However, the staff were (mainly) charming, though this was the first time I had to carry all our own bags to the room while the young porter walked nonchalantly beside me.
The atmosphere that the hotel provided both inside and out... They were very helpful when we were stranded without transportation! There wasn't a stand up shower in our room. The hotel could not recommend off site restaurants
The Villa is impressive and we really looked forward to our stay. The rooms were great -- clean and good sized. Unfortunately the smoking from other rooms always came into our room which we noticed especially at night. The jacuzzi and pool weren't heated so couldn't be used. At least having the jacuzzi heated would have been a big plus. The porch wasn't clean as people would just stamped out their cigarettes there where they sat for the rest of us to have to manuever around. An ashtray or two could help. There was no bar or room servce during the day. My husband had a lobster dish and the lobster wasn't good but my dish was very good.
Beautiful view Wonderful location Great restaurant Wifi not free
Hotel building is gorgeous and in a beautiful setting, rooms were lovely and very glam. food in the restaurant was delicious. The atmosphere was cold, the hotel staff were often not available, the bar was not manned and there were no lounge facilities, no hotel information in the rooms, area around the pool was overgrown and there were insufficient beds for number of guests, same people took the best tables every night at dinner.
large room, big jacuzzi, view terrace front desk spoke limited english
comfort and countryside . nothing
This was our first experience in an agriturismo and once we arrived we wondered why we did not choose this before in our life ! Wonderful location at bellavista: great views on a poetic tuscan countryside, clean comfortable and romantic apartment and such a smiling, efficient and friendly staff . We will certainly return with our children and friends next summer. Everything was absolutely amazing and the olive oil, the best I've ever had! I'm nearing the end of my bottle and it is worth it to pay for another flight just to come get more! I can't wait to be back. Thank you.
Nice and relaxing atmosphere. If by car, close to the chianti area with beautiful nature.
The room that we had gave a home comfort and a pleasant retro feeling. no, but it could have a better kitchen service
We highly appreciated the service in the restaurant and the quality of meal. The location is quite near to one of the outlets - The Mall, and relatively easy to find. There is a free parking place, that is good in case you arrive in a car, as we did. Though there is an air conditioner in the room, we have to pay 5 euro more (taking into account the room price and overall quality of the room and facilities that is more than enough). And I don't remember anything mentioned about this the hotel description. There is also no elevator, and for most rooms you have to climb steep and narrow stairs.
The hotel is located in countryside on top of hill with nice panoramic view. The building is really old but room was clean and comfortable. Staying inside the room you can hear any sound in corridor.
Room was big and bed was comfortable, clerk stayed past 2000hrs to wait for us to check in since we ran a half hour late. the antique furniture
Close to Firenze but silent neighbourhood between Chianti and valley of Arno river. Very nice views of wineyards and little stud farm.
Staff was very friendly and the dinner at hotels restaurant was very tasty. Open buffer breakfast had a very wide variety of offerings and was set ina very cute environment.
The Location Needs some touch of comfort
I really liked the place and the countryside.
everything was perfect...
Beautiful surroundings, very helpful, friendly staff, good food. The downside of the countryside: nothing much to do in the neighbourhood. Firenze is not a long drive off, though.
its location, very helpfull staff and the room itself. everything was perfect.
Unbelievable scenary and a beautiful hotel
Pleassant place No
The views from the hotel are amazing. The food is excellent.
The room was large and had a wonderful view. Staff were great and restaurant on the premises, served fabulous dinners. Some of our best in Italy and well priced. Grounds were lovely. having breakfast served in our room was not convenient, given the room was not set up for eating.
Excellent restaurant and very accommodating staff
location, peace, tranquility, the building and its decor Inconvenience having to make own arrangements to locate a taxi to take me to and fron the villa
the setting and the villa in general the room - clean, but really basic and in need of re-decoration
The hotel was close to train which had several trips a day to both Firenze and Arezzo. It was also close to the Piazza and main shopping street. The studio room was a very large and the bed was partially blocked from Kitchen and dining table by cupboard petition. The main difficulty we had was that the reception staff were not there often and for very long when they were there. When we arrived on th eSaturday afternoon we had to make few phone call and eventually some-one came to check us in. This is always difficult when your language skills of their language is limited. The kitchen would be improved greatly if it also had a oven or microwave.
It was central and therefore easy to get to. It was clean and modern - very good value for money. The bed in room 20 was uncomfortable (very hard) although other guests thought their beds were fine. Difficult to get much sleep because of the noise coming from the streets outside and the curtains are so thin that all the light came streaming through.
Facilities were perfect for our one night stop - private parking, kitchenette and plenty of space for two children. Didn't use the train but it would be so easy with it next door to train to Siena or Florence and not have to take the car. We didn't hear the train at all! The Aircon was a little uneven - downstairs warm, upstairs cold. It did however make some difference to downstairs.
