Pros: The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping.
Pros: Nice location , quick check-in
Cons: When we pulled up the desk person was out smoking and talking on her phone. She was friendly and checked me in quickly, then went back out to talk and smoke. There was no elevator so we had to carry everything up stairs... not terrible but we’re a family of 5 with little kids. Spa was closed. Pool was closed from 10-12 for exercise classes? Hallway floors were so dirty. Breakfast was the most minimal I’ve ever seen with no fruit at at or any healthy option besides yogurt. It was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
Pros: Breakfast was okay, too many sugary items. Coffee was vert good.
Cons: The air conditioner seemed to only work on the high fan setting, the beds were very comfortable. We didn't get an opportunity to use the pool.
Cons: Dirty toilet seat. Stale cereal for breakfast.
Pros: We interacted with several staff members, they were all kind and helpful.
Cons: All of the individuals at the front desk were helpful, however none wore anything to identify then as an employee. I like nametags so that I can thank the individual.
Cons: When we got to the room the window screen was on the ground and the lock was broken. Felt unsafe so we ask for a different room. Got a room on the second floor which was better. Hotel doesn't have a elevator.
Pros: The pricing is good and I like how you don’t get charged until you arrive but your spot is still held, and the room was big and the bed/pillows were pretty comfy.
Cons: The staff never came in and switched our towels or sheets or cleaned our room, we had to go down to the front desk for new towels everyday. Also the bathroom door is way too close to the toilet which is very inconvenient.
Pros: It is older, but it was clean, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: There is no elevator, and I was traveling with my elderly parents, so navigating luggage and stairs was tricky.
Pros: Room was comfortable
Cons: Looked forward to using the spa and it was closed
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Just what we wanted! Being located across from Walmart was very helpful.
Cons: There wasn't anything I disliked. It was a great stay!
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Pool not open.
Pros: The pool was nice. Breakfast was great too. There was a nice variety.
Cons: More towels for the pool. They were out when we were there.

Pros: It’s an older building but the halls were not cleaned once during my stay. Something was spilled outside my room and was there when I left. An old paper coffee cup on the windowsill in the hall, again there for the three nights there. Whoever cleaned the room just threw the blankets up in place, didn’t tuck anything in but accepted the tip well enough. The second night no one bothered to check on the room. For a few dollars more I will stay at another hotel next time.
Cons: See comments!
Pros: The room was wonderful and very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issues was the doors didn’t always unlock with the card key to get into the building. I would definitely stay here again!
Pros: The man who checked us in. The location. The room.
Cons: Dirty towels laying in piles in hallway. Heat vents in hall were junk. One male staff member being loud and complaining in front of guests.
Pros: Jess at front desk was amazing, very helpfull friendly, Kind should be a Manager for iron mountain, she cares about her clients and Very smart would make a awesome manager and should be reconized for her hard work!
Cons: floor wasnt vaccumed when we arrived and room was stuffy !
Cons: We were given a room on the “first” floor so my fiancé wouldn’t have to use the stairs with his crutches. The room we were give was on the walk out level in the back of the hotel. The door frame was broken, and the door would not lock. The air conditioner in our room was not working. The bathroom was old and dark. There were water stains on the ceiling from a leak in the room above us. Also, we were charged an additional fee for our service dog to stay in the room.
Pros: Person who checked us in was great.
Cons: There was poop in the toilet when we got there and we found 2 dirty socks in one of the beds that supposedly had clean sheets put on. The other room we had was dirty and had hair all over the shower. The coffee pot was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The breakfast was not good. The person that checked us out (Shantelle) was very rude and not friendly or helpful.
Pros: Wifi, breakfast, and Jets in the bath were a nice, welcomed surprise
Pros: a little sparse and limited, but it suited our needs.
Cons: it would have been nice to have some fruit or yogurt.
Cons: The entire hotel was run down and dirty including our room. Used floss on our bathroom floor, dirt in the pool, hot tub was broken, curtains were falling off the wall, smelled bad and exposed radiator in hall way was a hazard for small children. Gross!
Cons: The fact that I book it two days then when I get there they said not cat friendly. That should be on your friendly pet web page.
Pros: Location is oaky
Cons: Smell and not cleaned and not good one to stay .i suggest not to book this hotel
Pros: The front desk was very kind and helpful. I felt safe. The area is very convenient.
Cons: The toilet was dirty there was a ring in it. The hot tub was cold.
Located in Iron Mountain, Country Hearth Inn Iron Mountain is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Millie Mine Bat Viewing Site and World War II Glider and Military Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: After finding out they rent rooms by the day to druggies that OD there after the fact won’t ever stay there again.
Cons: Strange people hanging there
Cons: There was no water pressure in the shower which made taking a shower difficult
Pros: Okay for a quick nights stay
Cons: Hallways were quite dirty. the Food at breakfast seemed like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Windows are at eye level with the sidewalk and street, so opening the curtains was not an option.
Pros: The curtains in the room did not close. The ceiling was dirty and needed painting. The window apparently had a leak as it had that foggy appearance. Outside property needed weeding.
Cons: The above is what we observed . I read the question above hastily.
Pros: Good rate; had suite.
Cons: This wasn't just outdated, it was in bad shape. Peeling wallpaper, stains all over carpet, someone's shaved hairs still on the counter, breakfast very poor.
Pros: This is an older property which was pretty much a dive before new owners came a few months ago. My renovated room was comfortable, bright and cheerful with a very comfortable bed and pillow. It appears that much of the furniture was new. Breakfast room was under construction, so I'm no sure what that component will be like.
Cons: The only negative comment was the old, yellowed toilet seat should have been replaced. There are not many outlets in the room. Maybe add a power strip? Face plate over the bedside outlet was not screwed to the wall. Door to the room was beaten up and old. Perhaps filling unused screw holes and repainting the door?
Pros: Did not eat there! Not to my liking.
Cons: Room had a old smoking odor and no blow dryer!
Pros: The room was very nice and updated. The largest hotel TV I’ve ever seen!
Cons: Pillows were a little hard.
Pros: The price was cheep
Cons: The room was not clean, examples hair in shower, floor sticky, stains on carpet, etc The breakfast had very few options and not stocked well. We had to look around for jelly even.
Pros: The residents who stay in the inn are terrible. Even the police told us it is the worst place we could have possibly stayed.
Cons: Proper advertising if the facility
Pros: Large room, big TV, comfortable bed
Cons: Hallway carpet smelled awful, room heating vent wasn't covered, room was run down
Pros: Room was large with a king size bed
Cons: I could hear the person on the 2nd floor stomping around all night and woke me up at 4am.
