Pros: Everything A beautiful property in a beautiful village. Marco and Sevrienne were the perfect hosts, breakfast was outstanding. We hope to visit and stay again with our wonderful hosts at their wonderful property. Thank you sincerely for your amazing kindness and hospitality.
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect beyond expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, great design of the rooms and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Cons: As per website pet was not allowed and one day a guests dog was running up and down at the pool area...this should be clarified! Either pet friendly or not allow pets on open areas. Thanks!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: You must stay here if you are visiting Provence. It is in an excellent location, with most other popular towns within a 10-30 mins radius by car. The view when you sit by the pool is like no other. The valley, mountains and river Sorgue are a feast for the eyes. Marco and Sevarine are the perfect hosts. They have created a tranquil atmosphere at their B&B, and are so generous. Breakfast is hearty, and they also have a ‘boutique’ of wine and snacks made by Sevarine herself, to help yourself to at a very reasonable cost. The town of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is a 3 minute walk down hill, and it is gorgeous. You will not regret your choice if you stay at Chante Coucou.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Marco the owner takes good care of this lovely bb. We love the 2 pools. Location with short walk to the good restaurants in town, 2 are michelin star restaurants. Beautiful natural fountain water goes through the city. Very safe and relaxing. Very nice to take a walk in town with many old plane trees giving shades and caracter. Close to Avignon, lavender fields. We like to return to visit in the future. Rooms are small like the pictures. So next time we will try to book apartment direct with Marco.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marco and Severine are fabulous hosts and manage to create a real sense of community amongst the guests. It is a really beautiful spot with a lovely pool and thoughtful touches to make everything comfortable and special. Fontaine de Vaucluse is a stunning spot with a magical river and Villa Chante Coucou is an ideal place to make the most of the village and as a base for exploring this gorgeous area. We'll be back and next time stay for longer.
Cons: Honestly nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location, the swimming pool and the comfort of the beds. Marco did everything to accommodate our family to stay at our best and gave us a beautiful apartment with kitchen. The b&b is in a superb location, closed to many restaurants, local shopping and with a great view of the mountains. Summer is hot and the AC worked very well which is also a plus.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at B&B Villa Chante Coucou very much. We were looked after very very well. Our hosts were possibly the nicest we have ever had. Very informative, attentive and also still relaxed. The breakfast was perfect. The location is easy walking distance to everything in town and the pool area is great. The view from the common areas is also stunning.
Cons: Cannot think of anything we were unhappy about. Some guests may find the style of the room uncommon, but we felt the style in-keeping with the Villa theme and well-presented.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful environment, super pool. Very helpful and friendly owner. Many perceptivebess, for example: Ice- cube, kitchen equipment. Plentiful breakfast. Thanks. We recommend for everybody!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, great breakfast, warm hosts, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. The hosts had great local knowledge and we wouldn’t have had the experience that we had without their guidance. Perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, all perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the breakfast the family who rund the place, everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing could’ve been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Taxi service. Very difficult to explore the area if you didn’t rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful, hard to find any minus/negatives, only that we could not stay longer and that water in the swimming pool was colder due to "mistral";) But to name few things we really enjoyed: quiet and nice rooms, own terrace, superb breakfast but first of all super nice staff. In reality the place was much more nice than on photos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Nathalie and Cyril were such welcoming and friendly hosts and took really good care of us. Very spacious room with privacy, the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste. The room was very clean. The garden was amazing! Every corner of the property was a sight. Breakfast was delicious. Had a fantastic stay! Can’t find anything to pick on. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming family-run place. Lots of care and thought in furnishing the rooms and beautifying the gardens. Excellent breakfast. A delightful place to stay. Convenient base for sightseeing at St Remy, Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Avignon.
Cons: Can't think of anything that needed improvement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a nice sets of indipendent houses (8, if I am not wrong) in a green "garden" with trees: the garden is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and even if their english knowledge is limited they try to make you feel at home and understand your needs. The staff speaks french but the wife of the owner also speaks a bit of english and italian. They also have a good knowledge of the surronding and they will direct you to see the nearby cities. Our room was cleanly daily in a perfect way. The way you need to follow to get to the reception is filled with small pebbles so even if it raining there are no problems in reaching your car or the reception. The free parking area inside the compound is a welcome extra that I found really pleasant.
Cons: The location is a bit far away from the main route area and the city center: you definitely need a car (or a motorbike) if you are staying in this place. There are no attraction close to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but I still find it a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - from location to facilities, but particularly the flexibility of the maisonette with its excellent kitchen. Pool was great too.
Cons: the incessant noise of the cicadas but nothing can be done about that!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and well laid out and the aircon was a blessing! Breakfasts were excellent and relaxed. The pool was ideal, part shaded and always clean. Overall a great experience!

Pros: Peaceful environment with a large garden, lovely pin trees and pool. I enjoyed the configuration of the mazets, very private. Only a few KMs away from St-Remy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again at this property.

Pros: A really lovely place to stay. In spite of being near a busy road, a long drive to the house meant we did not hear any noise. Excellent very caring hosts who provided us with a very good breakfast, jams, yoghurt all home made and many other personal touches. Our room was large, homely and spotlessly clean. Location for visiting many interesting places excellent. A beautiful swimming pool to relax after the daily outings. We had three lovely nights here and highly recommend it.

Pros: The host and his wife were TERRIFIC! Not only were there local brochures about, our host prepared a recommended list of places to visit and explore. He tailored this to our interests and time frame. The breakfast was very good with home baked goodies....and homemade jams. Very yummy. Fresh flowers on the table, table nicely set, very clean facility. The grounds were beautiful.
Cons: The temperature so that we could have enjoyed the pool and the many sitting areas around the grounds. Our host couldn't control that. For the facility, the shower was a little on the small side and may have been difficult for a larger person (something to consider when booking the one room; other rooms may have had a larger shower - ask the host and he is kind enough to give guidance).

Pros: Olivier was the most helpful and friendly host. The house is in such a beautiful part of the world, with stunningly clean and well decorated rooms, the bed was so comfortable I actually miss it! I would recommend the whole experience to anyone.

Pros: Olivier and Estelle were the perfect hosts! They were warm, welcoming and very helpful! The breakfast was fantastic! Their accommodation is beautifully decorated and was outfitted with a fridge, microwave and kitchen supplies. The home itself is a gorgeous, stone building with beautiful views of vineyards and olive trees! Very peaceful and quiet but not far from the towns. The grounds even had a lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Olivier was amazing! He greeted us with a drink and gave us so many good recommendations for places to visit, including spectacular locations that we didn't know about! This was our favourite accommodation on a 3 week visit to France. When we left, we felt like friends as well as guests. We hope to return!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at Marie's place a lot. Marie and her sister in law, Annie, are very welcoming. Once we arrived, Marie greeted us with orange juice and showed us around. Her house has a nice front yard with reasonable parking space. And a backyard with a lovely swimming pool. The house is in gated area and Marie provided us with a remote control. We feel safe parking and sleeping inside and convenient to go in and out without having to bother her. The room itself is way beyond my expectations. I booked a deluxe double room and I ended up getting a well decorated suite with living room, bedroom, vanity room, bathroom. Breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: There were some flies in the front yard. Might be because it's summer time and the neighbor has a horse so we could understand.

It is a great place away from the crowds and with all facilities you need, great rooms and spacious, lots of personal attention from the owners and due to the small size as well with other guests. On the 3rd day a wonderful barbecue was organised for all guests and the owners joined too. Pros: Room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: Undoubtably the most disappointing stay during our time in France. We booked and paid for 3 nights but were so uncomfortable we left after 2 nights (no refund). The bedroom had a musty odour. The room had no air conditioning making it unbearable in the summer heat. The windows needed to be open allowing insects in at night time. The continental breakfast was poor on the first day and worse on the second. No fresh local produce was included. The coffee and hot chocolat were impalatable. The pool was not private as described, it was also used by the owner. The pool was adjacent to a busy road with considerable traffic noise. The property was outside the town limits and beyond walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. Check in time was very late in the day at 1700. We found interactions with the host awkward and uncomfortable. Overall very very disappointed. This property does not offer value for money at all. This was by far the most expensive stay of our trip and we expected more.

Pros: Adrien took very well care of us and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for your effort and care.
Cons: NA
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was ideally suited a short drive / walk from the centre of Gordes. Christiane was very hospitable, welcoming, and gave us some brilliant recommendations for sites to visit during our short stay. She also assisted us with finding a restaurant for dinner in the nearby town of Murs (Le Crillion was a beautiful restaurant, the restaurant owner was very friendly and accommodation - we are both vegetarians - and the food and wine weren’t delicious and not too expensive for the region!). The room was very comfortable and quiet and Christiane had provided for tea, towels, and additional pillows. We also had a private entrance to our room and so could come and go undisturbed. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to enjoy the garden but there is a lovely swimming pool and a large private space to relax in during summer months. The view at night was spectacularly covered in stars. Gordes is very beautiful and ideally located for trips to Rousillion (another must) and Fontain de Vaucluse. I would suggest watching the sunset / rise over the town from a nearby site overlooking the historical centre. The attached photos are of Gordes as well as nearby attractions.
Cons: Not long enough!

Pros: This was easily the best bed and breakfast experience I’ve had in many years. It felt like visiting a friends’ home rather than a business. Virginie and Jean-Luc were beyond welcoming and gracious and the rooms and grounds are idyllic. Spring was a great time to visit but the summer would be perfect to enjoy the gorgeous pool and new bar that will soon be open. Also, the breakfast was delicious with a generous assortment of fresh croissants and breads, eggs, jams, fruits, great coffee and so much more. I couldn’t recommend enough. Do yourself a favor and go!

Pros: Friendly hosts (even though our French is not great they did their best to accommodate). Breakfast was amazing and the kids loved the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners Brigitte and Fabrice were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was charming and had plenty of space to unpack properly. The garden was large and beautiful with a classic Provençal courtyard under the plane trees where we could have breakfast. There was a large and beautiful pool with comfortable sun loungers. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat as well as homemade cake, shortbread, madeleines and homemade jams. Peaches from the garden, cakes and biscuits were available for us to help ourselves all day as well as cold drinks from the fridge. The owners recommended good restaurants nearby and could also provide an evening meal if ordered in the morning. The whole atmosphere was one of relaxation and we shall definitely be back.

There was one room with double bed and one with couch/single and extra television, so we were able to spread out. The view out the windows was of a well-tended pear orchard and we had homemade pear preserves for breakfast.
Cons: There was some confusion about payment since the info from Booking.com said that our credit card would be charged two weeks before our arrival as well as that we would be asked to pay in cash, which we were happy to do.

Pros: Extraordinary! Incredible hotel with well deserved “Palace” status. Exceptionally beautiful and clean - meticulous attention to detail. Beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. The pool and spa a delight. Restaurant fabulous and staff so attentive and friendly.
Cons: Not one single thing to complain about
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location, the variety of restaurants, the personal approach... the 25m pool! Everything very good!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the location wonderful. Also the staff are great, you really can't fault the aesthetics of the hotel, but we knew that already as somewhere we have visited for drinks in the past.
Cons: The breakfast was lovely, however our room included breakfast and the night before we were left a slip to opt for room service and tick the items we would like. We opted for room service due to it being our honeymoon. When it came to pay for our room, there was a an £130 charge on the room for breakfast. We questioned it, stating our booking specifically said our breakfast was included and they then asked us to pay 'only' £50 for our eggs...... We were also offered an upgrade, which I initially thought 'fantastic, what a lovely honeymoon offer' but that was also for a charge. The car park also was a charge..........we felt like everything in the hotel came with a charge and there wasn't any care for the fact it was our honeymoon, which was a real shame. We also were not told the spa would close at 8pm and we only had one night, so missed out on that. Another thing is that the room was utterly tiny, and the bathroom even smaller. We had come from the Ritz and went onto another fabulous hotel, all of which had far bigger rooms - the one at Bastide was actually a bit of a joke in terms of size, you really are paying for a view. The bath was a very old fashioned bath that you could not fit two people in, again a shame. I daren't think about the size of the original room we had before our upgrade. All in all, it's a stunning hotel but a disappointment and not enough special touches for the price you pay. More of a money making place than a special service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Like a trip in time! Nice stuff, fabulous views, great attenion to details.
Cons: Nothing not to like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was exceptional. On the first time we did not feel like having a big meal. The staff served us a salad poolside. It was terrific.

Sophie and Uri were so helpful and passionate about their beautiful property. They went out of their way and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! We LOVED the beautiful property, the apartment we stayed in, it was super clean, had a great shower, wonderful (well equipped!) kitchen with coffee and tea supplied, excellent and reliable internet reception... we loved the huge garden, magnificent pool, the fresh bread each morning... The location is a little bit out of town, on a quiet country road in the middle of fruit orchards, however, it was only 10 min or so drive to l’Isle sur la Sorgue (where we wanted to go)... Perfect for us! Thank you so much Sophie and Uri for a most memorable stay!

Pros: This boutique hotel is set on the hillside in Provence, the rooms, terraces and swimming pool all look over the valley with views into the distance. Jean and Chantal were lovely, super helpful and prepared to help us with our french. The room was spacious, with tea and coffee. There was no television in the room which we liked but may upset some visitors.

Pros: The dinner and breakfast are super! Dinner cooked by the owner, it is very delicious! The chateau is very clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a Chateau (Castle) of the 14th century. Walls are a meter thick or thicker. Owners Chantal and Jean Tomasino did a wonderful and painstaking job of modernizing the Chateau. It looks great inside and out (They have the best electrical and lighting of all of the eight (8) hotels we stayed at in France on our visit. The grounds (gardens) are very nice. Great location, hanging off a hill side above a small quaint town with breathtaking views of the country side. Chef Jean really does a great job in the kitchen. His meal section and presentation is wonderful. Chantal and Jean are most gracious hostess and host. They both are very attentive and informative in a quiet and friendly way.

Pros: Chateau La Roque is everything it claims to be and more. It is a beautifully restored castle in the middle of Provence run by the most caring, thoughtful, and nice couple - Chantal and Jean. We stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon in Le Chemin de Ronde (the room at the top of the castle) and had the most amazing views from our windows. The meals prepared by Jean were exceptional and both Jean and Chantal made sure to help with our itinerary every day - from providing recommendations to making reservations. This castle is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away to a quiet and beautiful haven and be taken care of like family.
