7.5 Good
Pros: I cannot add to the excellency of the reviews of this Bed and Breakfast. I can only reiterate that Kelleigh and Dave are as warm and hospitable as everyone says they are. Kelleigh is an energetic host who made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. The three course gourmet breakfast, which was one of the reasons we chose Brewster House, exceeded our expectations and made our stay as memorable as any I could imagine! Freeport, ME, is a better place for having a Bed and Breakfast like this! Lovely bathroom and bedroom accomodations were icing on the cake. We were guests on an icy cold winter day with snow sparkling outside the dining room window. The dining room itself was charming and sunlit. It was a little bit of heaven for the dining experience alone! You don't have to be a Freeport shopper to want to come here! I would love to have tarried a few more days in this charming inn, and missed the opportunity to relax in the comfortable room with a gas fireplace, which was situated next to the dining room.
Cons: I have nothing negative to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome by charming and helpful owners. Clean, spacious, well appointed room, including hooks in the bathroom (something sadly lacking from many B&Bs and hotels). Short walk to LL Bean, shopping and restaurants. Delicious, complete breakfast, served graciously.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gourmet breakfast was amazing and Dave and Kelleigh are wonderful hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderfully warm welcome, great location and the most amazing breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn was very comfortable. Kelleigh and Dave made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and fun. The breakfast we were served on our two mornings could not be topped! Dave is an excellent chef using the freshest local ingredients available. His creativity with breakfast food made our breakfasts Top Chef worthy. Kelleigh timed all our courses perfectly. She was so attentive but not intrusive. She offered recommendations for local points of interest and nice restaurants to have dinner. By the time we left we felt more like family! We will definitely come back to Brewster House Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Kelleigh and Dave!
Cons: I can't think of anything I did not like about our stay. It was perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The innkeepers were super friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were fantastic!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Nice. Every room has lovely furniture
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb. Owners friendly
Cons: This couple is new to the business and so it is hard to be critical. In comparison to the previous owners, they need to have beverages other than coffee and tea available at all times. Some of our favorite stores are no longer open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for walking around Freeport. Hosts were kind and breakfast was yummy.
Cons: TV was tiny and hard to see from the bed due to size. Shower was very small. Think cruise ship small.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and the Inn were so cozy! We arrived during a blackout to a crackling fire and were given hot cocoa and cookies. The rooms were luxurious and just what we needed. Food was great in the tavern. The pool was beautiful. The breakfast was alarmingly delicious, we were not expecting that! We were late and the servers welcomed us anyway and were so accommodating!
9.0 Excellent
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very professional, friendly and exceptionally hard working. They had the best filet mignon I have ever had. The staff at the tavern and at breakfast were working very hard to service what appeared to be an unusually large Monday and Tuesday clientele while smiling, interacting and joking with the guest.
Cons: Nothing to add.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything, thank you again
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds/linens. Front desk staff very nice, helpful, pleasant and have been there for years.
Cons: Needed to call to have beds made. Only received candy on bed turn down on first night , and they were melted. Short staffed at breakfast and staff there seemed overwhelmed. Hostess in tavern (dark haired girl with braids was a bit cocky and borderline rude when we arrived with a outside drink. She reprimanded & scolded us. She also forgot to call us in our room when table was ready. She told us 45 min wait, we came down in an hour because we never got a call. The tavern was half empty. She seemed to do a lot of socializing with other staff instead of paying attention to her job. Coffee set up in sitting room had run out in morning. We’ve been coming for years and always enjoyed our stay, but this year things seemed very different. Sorry to say, not sure we will return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As shown everything was 10/10, except for breakfast. At the room rates charged, at the very least a high level continental breakfast should be included.
Cons: No continental breakfast included. Buffet breakfast far from worth the price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed everything about the hotel. Location, food, staff.
6.0 Good
Pros: Service was wonderful. People were graciously hospitable with everything.
Cons: The mattress in the Deluxe room ($---) per night was from the 1980s and every spring could be felt in my back. Not impressed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean..friendly staff..great location
Cons: No
5.0 Okay
Pros: Proximity to shopping Pub dinning Breakfast
Cons: Poor design of shower in room. Would prefer a good shower stall rather than a small stall with a separate jacuzzi tub. No coffee pots in room. Had to take a long hike to get coffee. Coffee urns could be installed closer to the distant rooms.
7.0 Good
Cons: Room size exceptionally small. Over priced.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: There were many nooks and crannies where you could sit and meet with other guests besides the standard amenities
Cons: The office area is locked off until 7:00am. If you want to leave before this time, you must do so without checking out, and, almost as important, getting a cup of coffee for the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casco Bay Inn has been our "first night stop" for at least ten years on our annual trip to Maine. Although under new ownership it continues to offer the same quality and warmness as always. We will definitely be calling to make our 2017 reservations in January

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about hotel was fantastic.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and well furnished.
Cons: The most disturbing aspect was the train track that was 50 feet outside my window. Every couple of hours a train went by shaking the room. Why would anyone build a hotel immediately next to an active train track? This reminded me of a cheap comedy film!
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, everything else including the breakfast was much less than expected.
Cons: The overinflated price for a room; while I had set aside credit to pay for this, however, since management added on an unexpected $60.00 charge, my initial credit card -- the one used to reserve this booking- was reinjected. Lucky that I had enough money on another account to cover it! Furthermore, even tho as a single, I had two queen beds, but the room was actually too small for two people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very updated and super clean!
Cons: It would be better if it was a free breakfast, also if there was more room at the bar itself.

Pros: Proximity to shopping, good breakfast, clean room
Cons: It’s a little overpriced for a standard Hilton. I know you pay more for proximity to LL Bean but the cost per night is not worth the location

Pros: Staff and cleanness
Cons: Quality of mattresses and owners dog running around.

Pros: Beds comfy. Staff extremely helpful.. I've stayed here before and will again.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast facilities were wonderful. Clean and fully stocked. Bonus was the waffle making option which is a favorite for us.
Cons: The hotel is just down the road from all the great shopping, but walking is not an option as there is not sidewalk access until right in town. However, the price and amenities easily make up for this and make it a hotel to choose when visiting Freeport.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb. Owners friendly
Cons: This couple is new to the business and so it is hard to be critical. In comparison to the previous owners, they need to have beverages other than coffee and tea available at all times. Some of our favorite stores are no longer open.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for walking around Freeport. Hosts were kind and breakfast was yummy.
Cons: TV was tiny and hard to see from the bed due to size. Shower was very small. Think cruise ship small.
