Pros: I had a fantastic stay at La Scaletta. The host was most welcoming and very helpful, providing information on the Madonie National Park and places to visit in the area. The room was exceptionally clean with a really comfortable bed. The same goes for the bathroom. The property is located close to the centre of town, beside the Trattoria, which serves up fantastic local dishes. I had a very pleasant experience here.

Good to have cooking facilities and fridge, but there is a good trattoria next door.

Pros: Angela and Toto, the owners, could not have been nicer or more helpful. The food was excellent and bountiful. We stayed at Agriturismo Capuano because we wanted to hike in the Madonie and Toto and Angela lent us hiking maps and gave us important hiking information.
Cons: We could have stayed closer to the hiking locations in the Madonie but we couldn't have stay in a better place. One suggestion is that Booking.com put the GPS coordinates on its website, it would be easier to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B was in a beautiful, serene location. The host and hostess were among the friendliest people I ever met. We sat around the common area and he played the guitar and sang (very well)) original music that he had written in the traditional Sicilian style. I am kicking myself that I forgot to buy one of his CDs. Wonderful stay, didn't rush us out at all. We stayed past noon I believe. Would LOVE to return.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice food, lovely entertainment, was my birthday and they made it an extra special day for me
Cons: Beds a little too firm
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome from Toto and Angela, cosy room, delicious food grown and cooked by Toto, including pasta made from grain grown on the property and stone-ground locally and wild veg harvested from the locality. They even make a little wine from their grapes. As if that wasn't enough, Toto is a talented singer and musician! They both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and suggested local sights of interest.
Cons: Nothing. It was lovely!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Agriturismo Capuano is the most peaceful relaxing stay I’ve had in Italy. It’s located in the middle of a beautiful part of the Sicilian countryside with fabulous sunsets. The hospitality of Toto’ and Angela is warm, welcoming, and genuine and you know you’ll be coming back for more. The food is excellent and you you can count on fresh farm to table ingredients. A must for those seeking a peaceful oasis and spectacular sunsets!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Toto and Angela are warm, welcoming and very interesting multi-talented people. The moment we arrived and looked out at the view, we were transported to tranquility. The location is perfect for exploring the Madonie, Gangi, the Petronie and more. The food at Capuano was abundant and delicious. Toto is a skilled farmer, chef and baker. It was a rare treat to learn how he makes the pasta fresh everyday and he was most generous with his culinary secrets. The farm is highly diversified and production is beyond organic.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All of the food was excellent and plentiful. This couple really enjoys visitors and presenting to them local food specialties that are homemade. We had an amazing dinner with wine, for 20 E.
Cons: The heating system is a little strange. If you are traveling in cool weather I suggest really paying attention when the instructions are being explained to you; we lost the heating in the furthest bedroom somehow because we had turned the system off while having dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very helpful and enjoyable to spend time with. The food was amazing. It was an extremely quiet and relaxing location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were a group of 3 couples on our motorbikes. Easy to find with signs. Capuano is situated in a very quiet place surrounded by fields and beautiful views. We were greeted very friendly by Toto and his wife Angela with coffee and delicious pastries in their restaurant, such beautiful, welcoming hosts and made us feel right at home. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the home made dinner which consisted of local antipasti, home made pasta, meat and desserts were all exquisite. We had a splendid time and would recommend to everyone. Thank you Toto and Angela
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice Little appartement in the middle of nowhere with splendid views to the surrounding landscape. Fantastic dinner. very friendly host. Good breakfast.
Cons: There was not much light in the appartement. In the whole appartement it smelled like toilet.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location. I felt like a part of the village. We saw a wedding and we woken by a band marching down the street.
Cons: The breakfast was at a cafe close by, which is a good solution, however our selection was small. A coffee and a croissant. Although we appreciate that is an Italian breakfast, we would have enjoyed a little more options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great B&B with stunning views and welcoming hosts. If you are going to visit the beautiful village of gangi(which you should) Casa e Putia serves as a great location to explore with local restaurants and shops within walking distance. Hope to visit again soon.
Cons: Couldn’t fault the property!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners were super helpful. We arrived in the evening and needed some place to have a dinner, but up in Gangi all the restaurants were closed that day because of a funeral. But the lady telephoned to many places, found us a restaurant (all the way down in Gangi) and arranged that we can eat there, although there was a children birthday party :)) After, Giuseppe (our host) appeared in the restaurant and proposed to us that he would come pick us up in a car so that we would not have to go all the way up on foot! We did not want to bother them, but this was really very nice of them - and the evening walk up in the narrow streets of Gangi is one of our best souvenirs from our holiday!:) Even though they don't speak very much English, I can only recommend La Casa e Putia and Gangi, it's excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location is the historic village of Gangi. Roomy apartment with helpful and friendly owners. Good restaurant nearby. Wonderful views from the bedroom window
Cons: Difficult to find. You cannot go to the location with your car so a map and location of the Chiesa San Paolo and its square would be the best way to locate the property. There is parking there and you can call the owner from there and he will help with your bags. Our GPS took us up a cobbled street and into the narrow Via Porta di Conte loosing us in the narrow alley ways so make sure you go through the village on the main road and up Viale delle Rimembranze to Cheisa San Paolo
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Toilet water not working so I was given a bucket to fill water from shower and use it in toilet Breakfast was a cup of coffee and a croissant served at a bar about 100-150 metres away in exchange of a voucher/ card provided by owners. Although I made the booking only about 1 hr before my arrival, I had to wait for another hr before the owner arrived to check me in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed heads, view was great, location
Cons: Kitchen was not fully equipped (eg chopping board, knives, scissors, bottle opener). No one was around for check in
La Casa Del Pittore di Petralia - Petralia Soprana - Building

8.9 Excellent (90 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apartment in a delightful village. Ideal location for hiking in the Parc della Madonie. Spacious bedroom and very well- provisioned bathroom, both immaculately clean. All sorts of thoughtful touches like the provision of multiple adaptors, which we greatly appreciated. Delicious breakfast of orange juice, cappucinos, warm croissants, bread, butter and jam served in the breakfast room by charming Giovanna. Two good restaurants in the village (Lu Carme & Trattoria da Salvatore).
Cons: Room overlooked a busy street. The motorcycles in particular were very noisy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Such a friendly an nice hostess. She makes a wonderful homemade marmalade that you get for breakfast and she has a lot of tips for the island. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and uniquely decorated with many personal and historic touches. The owner, Antonella, is friendly and very helpful and clearly loves having guests in this pretty house which is conveniently located in this quiet village high in the Madonie. The studio is small but perfectly formed with a very comfortable bed on the mezzanine level. The village is reachable by bus from Palermo and by taxi from Castelbuono if you prefer travelling without a car.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Little Maisonette in the middle of the town, nice furniture, breakfast with Croissants.
Cons: Maisonette was hard to heat, WiFi was not good at upper floor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was amazing and very helpful, the rooms were very nicely decorated and had character, the breakfast was simple but nice, the place was situated in the centre of the village and had access to cafes and restaurants by foot.

Pros: We arrived very late and it was a short stop for us. We were greeted and welcomed with a smile. The morning was fantastic woke up with beautiful views from Gangi and the breakfast was more than wonderful ... fresh bread and the pastry was amazing. Thank you Aldo we stumbled on Gangi by mistake but I will definitely plan to re-visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent such as parking, heating, and food. Staffs are friendly, too. I strongly recommend staying at this hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast good with (some) salted and sweet foods. Fresh viennoiserie. Good Capuccino and coffee. The bathroom had a multi-function shower. Parking very easy near the rear entrance door.
Cons: The hotel has a reception that is at the ground floor and the rooms are at 3rd and 4th floor (anyway reachable from another door with private parking). The view in front of the room is on two buildings in renewal, you can see the landscape only looking right and left from your balcony. So the name Miramonti is partly right...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff! Helped me with everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to park friendly people
Cons: The room was initially really cold but heated up eventually. It was only 10 degrees outside.
6.3 Good
Pros: LIves up to its description. Small no frills but clean & comfortable . Devil to find despite being on main road
7.5 Good
Pros: Bathroom freshly renovated. Nice town.

Pros: The hosting family are beyond helpful, happy and the nicest people to be around whilst on vacation. The location is truly a paradise out of a postcard. The breakfast every morning (and coffee ) was fantastic! Was varied, fresh and delicious. We had dinner late one night and it was exactly why we come to Italy - delicious and cooked and served with love. 100% recommended. Grazie Mille!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a real character and he and his family were super helpful and friendly, welcoming us warmly. The agriturismo is quirky in its decoration - don’t expect modern decor but it is charming. The bathroom was adequate. There is a lovely pool and outdoor terrace with views but we were there on a cool evening! We were fed as if at a banquet to the point where we had to say ‘stop!’ The cuisine is rustic but very Sicilian and delicious. The owner regaled the dining room with Sicilian stories and it made for a really enjoyable and authentic experience. Thank you! Gangi was fascinating and we instantly had to google the colourful history of the town, its inhabitants and the region.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A cool place with friendly people in the middle of great nature.
Cons: Google maps takes you on a closed road. There is a sign from the Villa to turn back and call them for instructions. This is difficult, especially when you arrive after dark. It would be useful to have better signs on the road into Gangi to avoid going the wrong way.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Aldo, the owner, is a character of his own. A very warm and friendly family runs the business with a Sicilian style, which means you get fed with the most delicious dishes made with fresh local products. Don't expect an a-la-carte menu as Aldo and his wife will bring over the abundant seasonal dishes filled with local specialties. Wi-Fi is available and the rooms are TV-free. Just enjoy your time off in this special spot sitting at the foothills of Gangi. For any advice on how to get around and what to do/see, you will get all the information you need from the owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic food! Really great stuff, although you need a bit knowledge of italian.
Cons: There could be better suggestion how to get to the farm, because google maps suggested a quite bad road through the countryside. Also because you can approach the farm from two directions.
Borgo i Stritti - Petralia Soprana - Building
8
8.5 Excellent (11 reviews)
Overview
holiday home - B & B is 3 km from Gangi Borgo Italy's Most Beautiful 2014 A beautiful location surrounded by fields overlooking a beautiful valley. A real farm with organic natural products with vegetable crops and eaten. Animal proximity. Our value added is the love for the ancient grain mill transformed with a natural stone, with which we get the whole wheat flour and then turn it into bread, pasta and desserts.
