Had to wait 20 min for a Bidget shuttle while 7 (yes seven) shuttles for Alamo, Enterprise and almost every other rental car passed by. When we got to the rental car building the line to rent wrapped clear around the building. Serious 75 yard long line. It was unbelievable, the longest I’ve ever seen for a rental co. And it moved at a snails pace. Hours. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable

Everything good except for the 1 1/2 hour wait for picking up the car it was ridiculous it was like 3:00 am also dropping off was annoying hassle you need more employees if your going to have over 40 people waiting on line with only 1 employee

When we checked in at the end of our rental, we were given the quick printout that applied to another car and driver. We did not discover this until after we had gone through airport security and were waiting for our flight.

Cons:

There apparently is a French and Swiss side to the airport with car rentals at both places. The French side is smaller with less car but maybe a better deal. I rented a small suv because I was going skiing. They did not have that car but they “upgraded” me two classes to a luxury wagon without AWd. It worked for this trip but was not what I wanted. Also, the road signs and gps are not clear how to get back to the French side. We almost missed our plane. Found it by accident and not following what the signs would indicate

Staff generally friendly. Super fast drop-off.

Cons:

Difficulty at pick-up. Required to provide a flight number although leaving in the region. There was no mention of this anywhere on kayak's or wisecars' website through which the car was booked.

Staff was super friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Our car was slightly too small, they went out of their way to find us another one that was big enough. Will definitely go back there next time!

The person who gave me the car was extremely rude! I bought insurance for the car online when I booked, yet she repeatedly told me that I was unprotected and made me feel like I did not have adequate protection when I did. I also would have appreciated knowing a few things about the car that no one told me about.

Cons:

No windshield washer fluid, was a real problem driving in bad weather on the highway. I guess that's something I assumed would be there. Unfortunately, this is not the first time. Service not nearly as helpful as usual. In the past we have made an effort to rent from Hertz because of the extra effort they have made at this location. This time they made out the whole contract and we were about to sign when we noticed it was 300 € over our reservation price. Had to re-do. Price was already about 50% higher than what we usually pay at this location (Geneva airport, French sector) Also, we seemed to remember always getting snow tires in the winter as part of the standard package. Apparently not.

A remarkable experience with SIXT car rental Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Procedure took a few minutes. The car was clean and new. The car return took a couple of minutes. Amazing car rental agency.

I did not get the car I was supposed to get, the employees were unhelpful, I waited a long time to receive my car and when I gave it back I have been told that everything was fine before to receive an email stating I owe them money for damages I did not make.. It's the last time I book with sixt

When I went to get my car at 18:00 GVA France sector, the desk was closed. Granted, it closes at 18:00, but I emailed several times explaining a delayed flight by Iberia and I’d be Rs I gvto get to the desk by18:00, which I did! They did not wait. The car I rented 2 months prior to save money. On my tight budget - gone like the wind. I then had ti find smother car on the spot for double the cost. Horrible customer service. Never heard a word from anyone. Don’t use Sixt. Unreliable to say the least.

I have been blamed for an existing scratch on the car, which despite providing proofs are not been taken off. SIXT is claiming €488.5 for a small less than 2 cm scratch on the bonnet. Need your help to defend my case.

J'ai réservé le véhicule à mon nom. Un ami a pu récupérer le véhicule avant que j'arrive, sans mon permis de conduire, en mettant le sien et sa carte de crédit... Qui serait alors responsable ? Le réservataire, le propriétaire du permis ou celui de la carte ? Aucun effort pour expliquer le système de rachat de franchise, ils préfèrent qu'on rapidement et donc sans. Dans l'ensemble le personnel est assez désagréable... Le tarif annoncé sur le site est sans tax, sans licence...

The rental company didn't accept visa debit card. The rental was actually done by hertz. And from my experience hertz is very ridge and not friendly. I who'd prefer to know these things in advance.

The system couldn't provide me a collision insurance while I was trying to rent the car via KAYAK. I tried but failed. Then I had to have on the desk and became much more expensive. Nearly doabled the price finally.

The AGNET charged me two security deposites. One valued at 1600 euros which was not even registered in the rental contract. It was really fishy. Also, the agnet tried to rip me off by charging me additional 350 euros for changing the drop off location within the same city. i refused and eventually changed the drop off location at no additional charge.
