Pros: Quiet, Super nice owner, the most excellent breakfasts.
It is a very clean place, walking distance to shops, restaurants and surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
Pros: Vicki is a very gracious hostess. Her home is your home away from home. Breakfast was wonderful - everyday.
Cons: It was hard to sleep in with the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen.
Great place, company, food, decor. She had plenty of knowledge about places to eat and visit.
Pros: Vicki was very pleasant and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
Cons: It was our fault really. It was late when we went to bed and not until then did we discover that a couple more pillows would have been better. I'm sure she had more, but I felt like it was too late to ask.
Good location to go skiing in the immediate areas . Also nearby restaurants are within walking distance , and parking is in front of the place or on the site , which is great .
Pros: Vicki does a great job making you feel at home , and her breakfast is always great and on time . We prefer stronger coffee , but that is our European taste .
Cons: See above .
It is very clean, and has a nice, homey atmosphere. The manager greeted us at the door by name, took luggage to our upstairs room, asked when we would like breakfast in the morning, and was just very hospitable. We felt like we were welcome guests in someone's home!
Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Very quick to inform us of what was was available and when.
Cons: Yes, just that the walls are paper-thin between rooms, so we could hear every little thing in the next room, which wasn't good for us, and probably not for them, either. Perhaps some insulation or sound-proofing can be added.
Well the best thing was its not a hotel its so much better than that I have stayed in a five star hotel and this beats that hands down.
Pros: It was so comfortable, quiet, and Vicki Was such a delight she was there for all our needs we had a great night. We felt like we were at our home away from home.
Cons: We did not know from the website that the TV was to be shared.

Pros: Staff was very helpful with providing a roll away bed for our son who traveled with us unexpectedly. The rooms were a cool design , with the bathroom and small lounge area adjoining the sleeping room. Hummingbird garden and back deck were so lovely,
Pros: very clean
Cons: the building a little dated but is fully renovated
Pros: Basic motel. Nice. As expected or slightly better.
Cons: We had a second floor room. If it's a factor for you, the stairs are challenging.
Pros: large clean room
Cons: not enough cable channels (no espn, fox, cartoon channel)
Pros: Easy access on main street. Shuttle Bus to the ski area is 1/2 block away. Location is very close to many resteraunts. Friendly manager. Not a chain. Locally run.
Valley Hi Motel puts you just a 5-minute drive from Winter Park Ski Resort. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily.
Vasquez Creek Inn features a free ski shuttle and puts you just a 5-minute drive from Winter Park Ski Resort. Guests can enjoy Italian cuisine at Volarios, which serves dinner, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks, premium bedding, and bathrobes.
Cons: Couldn't get ahold of anyone for an hour after their normal business hours to check in.
Pros: Wonderful, clean room with thoughtful and accommodating staff. Continental breakfast was filling and free hot chocolate and apple cider in abundance all day long. Highly recommend.
Pros: The staff is very upbeat and cheerful.
Cons: We arrived at 4 pm (which is check in time) but didn't get to go to our room until 4:40. We had a wedding to go to so we had to rush to get ready. When we came back to the hotel, there was no parking left and we had to park in a dark parking area behind the motel. The beds were rock hard and made us all sore the next morning.
Pros: Good location very clean and super nice staff
Cons: A little dated
Trailhead Inn puts you within a 10-minute drive of Winter Park Ski Resort. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms offer LCD TVs, refrigerators, and free WiFi.
Pros: The property is big, lots of games, buffet and a couple restaurants. Cool rooftop pool/hot tub. Rooms are nice, well-decorated, comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness isn't where it needs to be. My room had some stains on the floor, a small stain on the sheets, and tangle of hair on the bathroom floor. But the worst part was the machines themselves, the electronic roulette machine was disgusting, covered in all sorts of debris, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Hard to play on a machine you don't even want to touch. Bartender cleaned a video poker machine for me to be courteous, and he mentioned that although cleaning staff is supposed to clean them, they never do. Also my in-room coffee maker was missing the piece where the filter fits, so I couldn't make coffee in the room.
Pros: Rooms were clean. Well maintained.
Cons: Food at fire side grill could have been better
Pros: Like just about everything we tried. Had a great time in casino's.
Cons: When I made our dinner reservation at the Timberline restaurant, I requested a quite corner out of the way so that we could enjoy a nice quite evening/dinner together for our 45th. We where seated behind the sever station that was so noisy at time we just didn't talk. Major disappointment. Had made the reservations week in advance for this very reason. Were glad to finish dinner and go back to our room. Oh, well maybe better next time.
Pros: The pool, hot tub, and fire pits on the top of the building were beautiful. It was clean and well cared for.
Cons: It was a casino and I'm not a gambler. If I went again, I might look for a restaurant outside of the casino.
Pros: Jaccuzi. Ambienance was nice and inviting.
Cons: There were no coffee regular.
Hotel gave very little perks to almost nothing for staying. Player club almost to nothing to first time comer. No discount for meals for playing. We have gotten a lot more at other casinos.
TV was a problem. Bed not that comfortable
Pros: About as nice a hotel room as we've ever seen!
Pros: Wondrously surprised...!
Pros: The room was very clean. The staff was amazing. We will be back.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: The view and rooftop pool were amazing as was the whole experience. Free valet!
Cons: Parking garage not attached to the hotel, not really a big deal. Expensive table games.
Pros: Great room, excellent amenities
Cons: Buffet was mediocre at best
Pros: No smoking. Clean
Cons: Gambling was terrible. No drinks offered, terrible service at the Fireside restaurant. The buffet was expensive for the value. Very few tables and minimums were too high
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: The gambling was horrible. The black jack tables were packed and no one could catch a break! Never gambling at the Ameristar again!
Situated in the historical district, this spa resort is steps from Ameristar Casino Black Hawk, Golden Mardi Gras Casino, and Golden Gates Casino. The Canyon Casino and The Gilpin Casino are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Stayed in the summer, so off-season at winter park. Beautiful hotel with kitchenettes which we found handy, nice pool and hot tub, and cool little gondola going to downtown winter park. Great staff, too.
Pros: Room was really great. Like the little kitchen area.
Pros: Loved this hotel! Wonderful friendly helpfulstaff! Nice rooms with easy access to the mountain, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
Pros: Everything about The Vintage Hotel was great. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent pool area, the beds were confortable, it was clean, great sized room and kitchenette, and we lived the gondola. They are in the process of updating some very out of date aspects of the hotel. We had new furniture and appliances.
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff were super nice!
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer!
Pros: ski locker was nice
Cons: the room was very outdated and the bathroom was very small. it was difficult to get to the village after the cabriolet closed. The shuttle bus was confusing and unreliable
Pros: Out Door Hot Tub and Pool
Cons: Sort of out dated. Needs some remodeling.
Pros: The room was well equiped and furnished nicely, incluidng the fireplace!
Cons: The bathroom was a bit small with slightly challenging space for more than 1 person to use it at a time.
The draw space was minimal and located in the TV stand. The location of the room was directly across from the vending/ice machines and at the hallway intersection, but was only occasionally noisy.
The cabriolette service hours should be longer through dinner hours since the shuttle service is not as reliable (on time) and walking back to the hotel in the colder weather at night is not fun.
Pros: Staff was awesome, free bike storage was a very nice plus! Hotel was good for a group of guys, probably needs a good upgrade in the next year or so if I was going to take my wife there on a trip. Overall the value of the Vintage was good for the summer rate we paid, probably would look elsewhere if going there in winter.
Pros: the vintage is a good value for the money. the staff is excellent and always helpful. it also has good proximity to the slopes via the cabriolet. the only downside is having to run the gauntlet of shops, especially after a day of skiing, carrying ski gear.
Cons: lack of electrical outlets and very little light. the wifi was inadequate in our room on the 3rd floor.
Pros: easy access from interstate
easy access to ski resort
nice, large room
very comfortable bed
Pros: The best hot tub, but the swimming pool was closed.
Cons: We booked a room at the Vintage Hotel on Kayak recently and received a big shock when we returned home. The hotel charged us for the room on top of what we paid at getaroom.com. The person at the check-in desk seemed clueless after we informed him that the room was already paid for. After calling the manager he informed us this also happened to another party. I’m still waiting for a refund and after calling the customer service at getaroom.com they said I will have to wait nine days for the refund. We will never use this travel site again and the Vintage hotel needs to work on improving their customer service. We also found out that we could have booked the room through Winter Park and saved $20.00 over what Kayak charged.
The Vintage Hotel features snow tubing and puts you within a 15-minute walk of Winter Park Ski Resort. The outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Five Mountain Tavern, which serves American cuisine and is open for dinner. Other features include a bar/lounge, a spa tub, and a sauna.
Pros: I will definitely be staying here again! The room was great! Easy check in, good parking. There is also a shuttle that goes to all the hotel/ casinos. Was way cheaper than ameristar and just as nice if not better
Pros: Room was clean and large, very inviting.
Cons: At Casino- $3.00 black jack there was only 1 table. It was full with 4 players and no one acknowledged me waiting to play! Bad on the dealers part. I waited 15 min. standing and no one said a word.
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Broken A/C in one of our rooms
Hotel staff not very helpful
Rooms were not next to each other (even though I called to confirm this the morning of our stay)
Pros: The hotel staff was great! Their key card machine was giving them problems so the manage on duty gave us a comp on our room and upgraded us to the Mimi suite which was very beautiful
Cons: No late checkouts & housekeeping staff
Pros: The rooms were great, extremely comfortable and very luxurious. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in in years. I slept a solid 8 hours and never moved which neither had happened since I can't remember when. All the rooms are secluded on one floor so there's no riff raff. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable and a great value. Can't say enough about it
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at Century Casino & Hotel - Central City in Central City. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Mid City Grill, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other highlights include a bar/lounge, and rooms offer pillowtop beds and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Very cozy and clean. Nice little gazebo at the back and a hot-tub. Friendly owner and staff.
Cons: Walls are very thin. Some sounds coming from adjacent rooms woke us up late at night.
When you stay at Winter Park Chateau, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Winter Park Ski Resort. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms are done up right with upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs.
Pros: Updated rooms, great location in heart of winter park, nice hot tub, good breakfast.
Cons: Rooms are smaller than most hotels.
Pros: Staff great, wonderful walking trails close by. Breakfast great and slept great.
Cons: Surprised no pool or work out room but didn't care after I found the great trails close by.
Cons: Barking dogs
Pros: Great location, clean, good breakfast.
Cons: Should have a pool
Pros: The staff were very nice.
Pros: The location is very handy and the staff is kind and professional.
Pros: Staff Helpfulness
Pros: We liked the proximity to Winter Park. The hotel is walking distance to eateries, shopping center, and shuttle pick up/drop off area. The staff, especially , was extremely helpful. The hospitality we received from the hotel staff was exceptional.
Cons: The parking area is limited and a bit crowded.
Pros: Very friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. What else do you expect?
Pros: this hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and affordable.
Pros: Within walking distance to everything we did in Winter Park.

Historic Windsor Hotel B and B is a great choice for a stay in Silver Plume. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, mountain biking, and downhill skiing, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily.
Pros: the price was right the hotel room was large and clean. the casino was nice.
Cons: we ate at the dinner buffet at 5;00. it was the worse buffet we have ever had' the food was obviously left over from lunch. there was very little to chose from. there was 1 meat chicken. stall. potatoes has hard as a rock. we had to go somewhere else to eat.
Pros: Bus route takes you into Blackhawk, good deal for the money. Extremely friendly staff
Cons: Could only get a smoking room. It definitely smelled of smoke. Other than that, it was fine.
Pros: I was really surprised when i opened that door to the room... i didn't think it would be that nice... i thought it would look the same as the outside kinda sh*tty but as an overall experience it was good.
Cons: No hot tub, small casino, not much food choice, and its a way from blackhawk if you want to drink... oh and i hate the smell of cigarettes which was around elevator, and entry ways...

Condos offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs, along with kitchens and balconies. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage.
Pros: The walk down to the river. Location is excellent.
Cons: There was urine on my toilet in my bathroom. It was on the back behind the lid. I didn't have time to let someone know so the hotel didn't have the opportunity to make it right. However, this was a quarter size urine puddle very yellow in color.
Cons: Room next to us was loud all night and there was a definite rattling noise all night long.
Cons: Poor customer service at the front desk
Cons: The AC did not work, had to open the windows to cool the room off! There was hair in the bathtub drain and the floor wasn't vacuumed very well
Cons: The staff was rude. The price was way to expensive. Not worth the money
Pros: Great price for a room for the mountains. The room was very clean and upscale. The town is all about the gambling.
Cons: All food options around were quite pricy so be prepared to spend over $20 on a buffet or more on a very fancy steakhouse.
Pros: The rooms were clean and well appointed
Bed was comfortable
Parking garage with easy access to rooms you don't have to enter through the casino or lobby
We would stay there again
Pros: Gambling was ok and breakfast was good
Cons: The room was small not it was not wreath 180
Pros: 2 of 3 front desk personnel were awesome.
The check in and the lady of whom we asked questions.
The gent at check out was unconcerned, and did not even thank us for pointing out that there were items needing repair. We did not bother mentioning the pillows or the bed.
Cons: On a road trip. 13 different hotels. This the most expensive, and the least satisfactory. The pillows were awful; one of the beds was sagging. the bedside lamp switch was broken; thus had to get out of bed to shut off light. The plug for the sink was broken, and both the sink and tub drains did not.
Pros: Quite rooms
Cons: I booked a room at isle casino and they decided to place me in their sister casino, lady luck without any compensation. Our room was located a long walk away from where we were supposed to be and where our friends were.
Pros: The room was really nice. Bed was super comfortable and spacious rooms for a relative cheap price.
Fun dealers - for the most part
Cons: Lobby less than desirable.
3 food options I saw
No 'bar', no place to sit and relax with a drink
Not many roulette tables or craps
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Losing all my money.

Pros: Great location to winter sport activities. All staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: The design of the hotel made it a little weird to find the rooms. But overall, the location is prime.
Pros: Quite,bed were comfortable
Cons: Took over an hour to get mac and cheese for 22 dollars and came out cold. Bar workers rude and couldnt keep up.took 20 mins to order 2 drinks
Pros: Staff was awesome. Liked it so much stayed an extra night.
Cons: Parking sucked. Walls are a little thin.
Pros: The Hotel was real clean and the game room was a hit for my daughter. We had a Great time.
Cons: The road was a little loud.
Pros: Pools nice, locations nice....that's about it
Cons: Old TVs, thin walls that can't even block out tv noise, trash left in room, and hairs found in bed...Oh did I mention the 100 dollar credit card fee that was not mentioned we would have to pay in full for potential "damages"? I will never stay here again!
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The parking is TIGHT so if you have a suv it may be a bit tough. The place is old. All stairs and not very clean. There was gum in the shower. No AC. Which in the winter is no big deal. But for the summer it can get stuffy in the room with just one open window and no cross
Pros: The restaurant was pretty good. The chef definitely has some amazing ideas that he or she puts together, but some of the choices in terms of cuts of meat were not the greatest. We spent $23.95 on a ribeye that was mostly grizzle. My dogs ate more of it than I did. Oh and did I mention I could bring my dogs? Best part was having the kids when we got back to the room after going snowboarding and get all fuckered up without needing to drive 2 to 3 hours home.
Cons: Well, I spent over $200 on my room that looked like it was a part of the Motel 6. The blankets were not especially warm and our a/c unit was out. Cold at night and hot during the day... I called them the day before and told them that I was bringing my pets and they said that was ok with a fee. No problem. So I went to see if I could check in and with a surprising "yes' as an answer, it was quickly diverted to a "no" because they never updated their log saying that I had my animals with me. Not only that, they said they would call when the room we were moved to was ready and never go the phone call. Whatever, I guess it's not so bad as the couple next door to us who were fighting at 2:45 in the morning that the cops needed to come and arrest at 3:30am. Yea I heard the whole thing. Over priced for a stay that was less than 24 hours. I would not do them again. If you are a family with kids - great spot but a nice romantic get away = NO!
Cons: Prices for food in the restaurant was very high for very low quality food.
Bartender was lazy and rude.
The hotel has gone through a renovation, but they did not put any money into the beds. They appeared to be very cheap were very uncomfortable.
Pros: The location is perfect! The view of the slopes was great, the shuttle was easy, having the ski shop in the lodge was convenient!
we considered staying at a place with "efficiency unit" but with spacious room, fridge and micro in room, and shopping in town, we had everything we needed (and for a lot less than an efficiency).
The pub is great (food, craft beer, great staff) and is all you could ask you!
Cons: The place shows some signs of wear and tear but if you are fine with "not brand new", it is great! The staff is constantly cleaning and working on keeping the place nice.
There is a lot of "unused space" (undergoing renovation?) in the older section of the lodge. It would be nice to have a fitness room (free weights, cardio machines) in some of this un-used space.
Pros: Very comfortable beds.
Cons: Both hot tubs were not working. Ice machine on our floor not working.
Pros: Fresh cookies!
Winter Park Mountain Lodge features snowmobiling and a free ski shuttle, plus you'll be just a 5-minute drive from Winter Park Ski Resort. The indoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Moffat Station Restaurant, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. A bar/lounge and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves. Skiers will appreciate access to ski passes and rentals.
Cons: Walls between rooms are pretty thin. We could hear our neighbors next door. Seemed at times we were all in the same room.
Cons: Used my credit card to charge the stay and it was later see for fraudulent charges.
Pros: Close to the ski area.
The room was quiet.
Didn't need a car, as the motel was close to restaurants and free shuttle stop.
Cons: For an old motel: the $/night was very high.
Plumbing fixtures in bathroom sink needed replacement.
Mouse in the room.
Pros: When I checked in the attendant wrote down my credit card number and information on the check in receipt. I asked for that receipt to be torn up upon checking out and was told to forget about it. This despite the fact that these paper receipts are kept in slots behind the desk unsecured. This is credit card fraud waiting to happen and the owner was quite rude when I asked for my credit card receipt to be torn up.
Cons: Credit card numbers should always be kept secured and shredded upon check out.

Pros: Great place to lay your head for the evening! Make sure you read the description because it is exactly as said and you can't beat the price. There is a shuttle that picks you up from the parking lot also to get you directly to the lifts. Super convenient!
Pros: I found this place online and it was PERFECT. I come to Winter Park to ski and take in the town with my Dog, not hang out in the room. It has all you need to sleep and clean up. It is all clean and comfortable and a great price for a tourist town. The lockers for ski's and boots are placed on the way in/out, very convenient! If you are going to hang out in the room all weekend it is probably not the place for you, but if you want a great place to base from within walking distance to all Winter Park has to offer and the ski bus pick up is literally in front of the place, then you want to stay here. This place is perfect and affordable. This will be my "go to" place from now on!!
Cons: The access to the loft beds is a steep ladder that was hard to climb up. Especially with a bag. A spiral staircase would be much safer and still small footprint.
Pros: I was in Winter Park to do some mountain biking. I needed just a room to sleep so I didn't have to drive up in the morning. It's right across the parking lot from great shopping and within walking distance of so many great restaurants and bars. It was quiet and rustically charming.
Cons: There is no staff. To check in you have to go to the t-shirt shop downstairs. That in itself isn't the problem, the problem is it feels like a total lack of security. Plus, it allows dogs, you always have to question the cleanliness of a place that allows dogs.
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Most prison cells are more comfortable
Pros: For a location so close to Winter Park, the value of the Viking Lodge can't be beat. It isn't the most luxurious place, but it is clean and the staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, you should go elsewhere. But if you are looking for a fun, inexpensive trip to Winter Park, this is your place! And don't forget the free shuttles that pick you up at the Viking Lodge and take you straight to Winter Park!
The Viking Lodge and Ski Shop puts you within a 10-minute drive of Winter Park Ski Resort and features an airport shuttle (available 24 hours). Free self parking is an added perk, and guests can keep active with onsite snowshoeing.
