We had a great stay for one night. Very warm and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and backed onto a creek. Went above and beyond to accommodate us for a great night in Georgetown. Nothing
Loved the room, the fire place, the luxury details. Unlike chain hotels, multiple plugs, good lighting, luxury coffee and toiletries. Love that they don't use keys but your personal code for all doors. Very accommodating to my requests and super friendly staff.
Room was fine and clean. Quiet hotel. The situation of the Hotel is great if you go snowskiing in Loveland. Georgetown is a nice historic little town with a couple of bars restaurant and Breakfast place. The room are not very noise proof !
Good rooms.whole place is very nice in good location. Can't fault of in any way
Proximity to I70 route, and easy journey from Denver International Airport. Ideal stop-off for Ski areas Lovelands, Winter Park and Sol Vista. Ceiling above bath/shower damaged from leaking bath in room above.
It is located in a beautyful area, close to I-70. Short travel distance to Loveland ski area. A little over priced.
walking distance to historic village Noisy. Normal voices could clearly be heard next door and floors above creaked
Nothing. Checked in at Midnight. Left by 2:00AM. Room smelled. Was fairly clean.
Georgetown is quite small and historic; the Inn is well located to enjoy the village by walking. Yes.
It was really convenient and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. We were fortunate to get a room at the end of the building on the top floor. I know the noise from other rooms would have been an issue had we been in a different location. The walls are pretty thin.
friendly staff, clean rooms, good value.
When I arrived I pulled back the sheet to find that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. Many hairs were all over it when I called the front desk to get new sheets you would have thought I was asking for something extra. No apologies just rudeness. Next I had to phone because the shower was broken. Again they started off being exasperated with me because I was asking (very nicely btw) for a new room. I know it is a cheap hotel but this kind of treatment was truly shocking. Over all the hotel was very shabby and dirty. Maybe if I was paying $25 a night I could have understood. I would suggest any other hotel in the area
The pool, hot tub, and fire pits on the top of the building were beautiful. It was clean and well cared for. It was a casino and I'm not a gambler. If I went again, I might look for a restaurant outside of the casino.
Great room, excellent amenities Buffet was mediocre at best
The property is big, lots of games, buffet and a couple restaurants. Cool rooftop pool/hot tub. Rooms are nice, well-decorated, comfortable. Cleanliness isn't where it needs to be. My room had some stains on the floor, a small stain on the sheets, and tangle of hair on the bathroom floor. But the worst part was the machines themselves, the electronic roulette machine was disgusting, covered in all sorts of debris, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Hard to play on a machine you don't even want to touch. Bartender cleaned a video poker machine for me to be courteous, and he mentioned that although cleaning staff is supposed to clean them, they never do. Also my in-room coffee maker was missing the piece where the filter fits, so I couldn't make coffee in the room.
The view and rooftop pool were amazing as was the whole experience. Free valet! Parking garage not attached to the hotel, not really a big deal. Expensive table games.
Rooms were clean. Well maintained. Food at fire side grill could have been better
The room was nice. The gambling was horrible. The black jack tables were packed and no one could catch a break! Never gambling at the Ameristar again!
About as nice a hotel room as we've ever seen!
The room was very clean. The staff was amazing. We will be back. Not a thing.
Like just about everything we tried. Had a great time in casino's. When I made our dinner reservation at the Timberline restaurant, I requested a quite corner out of the way so that we could enjoy a nice quite evening/dinner together for our 45th. We where seated behind the sever station that was so noisy at time we just didn't talk. Major disappointment. Had made the reservations week in advance for this very reason. Were glad to finish dinner and go back to our room. Oh, well maybe better next time.
Jaccuzi. Ambienance was nice and inviting. Very clean There were no coffee regular. Hotel gave very little perks to almost nothing for staying. Player club almost to nothing to first time comer. No discount for meals for playing. We have gotten a lot more at other casinos. TV was a problem. Bed not that comfortable
No smoking. Clean Gambling was terrible. No drinks offered, terrible service at the Fireside restaurant. The buffet was expensive for the value. Very few tables and minimums were too high
The Hotel was real clean and the game room was a hit for my daughter. We had a Great time. The road was a little loud.
Great location to winter sport activities. All staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Pools nice, locations nice....that's about it Old TVs, thin walls that can't even block out tv noise, trash left in room, and hairs found in bed...Oh did I mention the 100 dollar credit card fee that was not mentioned we would have to pay in full for potential "damages"? I will never stay here again!
The restaurant was pretty good. The chef definitely has some amazing ideas that he or she puts together, but some of the choices in terms of cuts of meat were not the greatest. We spent $23.95 on a ribeye that was mostly grizzle. My dogs ate more of it than I did. Oh and did I mention I could bring my dogs? Best part was having the kids when we got back to the room after going snowboarding and get all fuckered up without needing to drive 2 to 3 hours home. Well, I spent over $200 on my room that looked like it was a part of the Motel 6. The blankets were not especially warm and our a/c unit was out. Cold at night and hot during the day... I called them the day before and told them that I was bringing my pets and they said that was ok with a fee. No problem. So I went to see if I could check in and with a surprising "yes' as an answer, it was quickly diverted to a "no" because they never updated their log saying that I had my animals with me. Not only that, they said they would call when the room we were moved to was ready and never go the phone call. Whatever, I guess it's not so bad as the couple next door to us who were fighting at 2:45 in the morning that the cops needed to come and arrest at 3:30am. Yea I heard the whole thing. Over priced for a stay that was less than 24 hours. I would not do them again. If you are a family with kids - great spot but a nice romantic get away = NO!
Staff was awesome. Liked it so much stayed an extra night. Parking sucked. Walls are a little thin.
The design of the hotel made it a little weird to find the rooms. But overall, the location is prime.
Location. Prices for food in the restaurant was very high for very low quality food. Bartender was lazy and rude. The hotel has gone through a renovation, but they did not put any money into the beds. They appeared to be very cheap were very uncomfortable.
Quite, bed were comfortable Took over an hour to get mac and cheese for 22 dollars and came out cold. Bar workers rude and couldnt keep up.took 20 mins to order 2 drinks
The location was great The parking is TIGHT so if you have a suv it may be a bit tough. The place is old. All stairs and not very clean. There was gum in the shower. No AC. Which in the winter is no big deal. But for the summer it can get stuffy in the room with just one open window and no cross Breeze
Very comfortable beds. Both hot tubs were not working. Ice machine on our floor not working.
The location is perfect! The view of the slopes was great, the shuttle was easy, having the ski shop in the lodge was convenient! we considered staying at a place with "efficiency unit" but with spacious room, fridge and micro in room, and shopping in town, we had everything we needed (and for a lot less than an efficiency). The pub is great (food, craft beer, great staff) and is all you could ask you! The place shows some signs of wear and tear but if you are fine with "not brand new", it is great! The staff is constantly cleaning and working on keeping the place nice. There is a lot of "unused space" (undergoing renovation?) in the older section of the lodge. It would be nice to have a fitness room (free weights, cardio machines) in some of this un-used space.
Everything about The Vintage Hotel was great. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent pool area, the beds were confortable, it was clean, great sized room and kitchenette, and we lived the gondola. They are in the process of updating some very out of date aspects of the hotel. We had new furniture and appliances.
Loved this hotel! Wonderful friendly helpfulstaff! Nice rooms with easy access to the mountain, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
The best hot tub, but the swimming pool was closed. We booked a room at the Vintage Hotel on Kayak recently and received a big shock when we returned home. The hotel charged us for the room on top of what we paid at getaroom.com. The person at the check-in desk seemed clueless after we informed him that the room was already paid for. After calling the manager he informed us this also happened to another party. I’m still waiting for a refund and after calling the customer service at getaroom.com they said I will have to wait nine days for the refund. We will never use this travel site again and the Vintage hotel needs to work on improving their customer service. We also found out that we could have booked the room through Winter Park and saved $20.00 over what Kayak charged.
ski locker was nice the room was very outdated and the bathroom was very small. it was difficult to get to the village after the cabriolet closed. The shuttle bus was confusing and unreliable
Staff was awesome, free bike storage was a very nice plus! Hotel was good for a group of guys, probably needs a good upgrade in the next year or so if I was going to take my wife there on a trip. Overall the value of the Vintage was good for the summer rate we paid, probably would look elsewhere if going there in winter.
The room was well equiped and furnished nicely, incluidng the fireplace! The bathroom was a bit small with slightly challenging space for more than 1 person to use it at a time. The draw space was minimal and located in the TV stand. The location of the room was directly across from the vending/ice machines and at the hallway intersection, but was only occasionally noisy. The cabriolette service hours should be longer through dinner hours since the shuttle service is not as reliable (on time) and walking back to the hotel in the colder weather at night is not fun.
The hotel was clean and the staff were super nice! That I couldn't stay longer!
the vintage is a good value for the money. the staff is excellent and always helpful. it also has good proximity to the slopes via the cabriolet. the only downside is having to run the gauntlet of shops, especially after a day of skiing, carrying ski gear. lack of electrical outlets and very little light. the wifi was inadequate in our room on the 3rd floor.
Room was really great. Like the little kitchen area.
Out Door Hot Tub and Pool Sort of out dated. Needs some remodeling.
easy access from interstate easy access to ski resort nice, large room very comfortable bed great staff!!
I will definitely be staying here again! The room was great! Easy check in, good parking. There is also a shuttle that goes to all the hotel/ casinos. Was way cheaper than ameristar and just as nice if not better
The hotel staff was great! Their key card machine was giving them problems so the manage on duty gave us a comp on our room and upgraded us to the Mimi suite which was very beautiful No late checkouts & housekeeping staff
Room was clean and large, very inviting. At Casino- $3.00 black jack there was only 1 table. It was full with 4 players and no one acknowledged me waiting to play! Bad on the dealers part. I waited 15 min. standing and no one said a word. NOT GOOD!
Large rooms Clean rooms Broken A/C in one of our rooms Hotel staff not very helpful Rooms were not next to each other (even though I called to confirm this the morning of our stay)
The rooms were great, extremely comfortable and very luxurious. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in in years. I slept a solid 8 hours and never moved which neither had happened since I can't remember when. All the rooms are secluded on one floor so there's no riff raff. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable and a great value. Can't say enough about it That I couldn't stay longer
The AC did not work, had to open the windows to cool the room off! There was hair in the bathtub drain and the floor wasn't vacuumed very well
Great price for a room for the mountains. The room was very clean and upscale. The town is all about the gambling. All food options around were quite pricy so be prepared to spend over $20 on a buffet or more on a very fancy steakhouse.
The room was really nice. Bed was super comfortable and spacious rooms for a relative cheap price. Fun dealers - for the most part Good vibe Lobby less than desirable. 3 food options I saw No 'bar', no place to sit and relax with a drink Not many roulette tables or craps
Quite rooms I booked a room at isle casino and they decided to place me in their sister casino, lady luck without any compensation. Our room was located a long walk away from where we were supposed to be and where our friends were.
Room next to us was loud all night and there was a definite rattling noise all night long.
The rooms were clean and well appointed Bed was comfortable Parking garage with easy access to rooms you don't have to enter through the casino or lobby We would stay there again
2 of 3 front desk personnel were awesome. The check in and the lady of whom we asked questions. The gent at check out was unconcerned, and did not even thank us for pointing out that there were items needing repair. We did not bother mentioning the pillows or the bed. On a road trip. 13 different hotels. This the most expensive, and the least satisfactory. The pillows were awful; one of the beds was sagging. the bedside lamp switch was broken; thus had to get out of bed to shut off light. The plug for the sink was broken, and both the sink and tub drains did not.
The staff was rude. The price was way to expensive. Not worth the money
Gambling was ok and breakfast was good The room was small not it was not wreath 180
The bed was very comfortable. Losing all my money.
Poor customer service at the front desk
Could only get a smoking room. It definitely smelled of smoke. Other than that, it was fine.
the price was right the hotel room was large and clean. the casino was nice. we ate at the dinner buffet at 5;00. it was the worse buffet we have ever had' the food was obviously left over from lunch. there was very little to chose from. there was 1 meat chicken. stall. potatoes has hard as a rock. we had to go somewhere else to eat.
I was really surprised when i opened that door to the room... i didn't think it would be that nice... i thought it would look the same as the outside kinda sh*tty but as an overall experience it was good. No hot tub, small casino, not much food choice, and its a way from blackhawk if you want to drink... oh and i hate the smell of cigarettes which was around elevator, and entry ways...
Bus route takes you into Blackhawk, good deal for the money. Extremely friendly staff

Quiet, Super nice owner, the most excellent breakfasts.
Vicki is a very gracious hostess. Her home is your home away from home. Breakfast was wonderful - everyday. It was hard to sleep in with the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Very quick to inform us of what was was available and when. Yes, just that the walls are paper-thin between rooms, so we could hear every little thing in the next room, which wasn't good for us, and probably not for them, either. Perhaps some insulation or sound-proofing can be added.
We did not know from the website that the TV was to be shared.
Vicki was very pleasant and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. It was our fault really. It was late when we went to bed and not until then did we discover that a couple more pillows would have been better. I'm sure she had more, but I felt like it was too late to ask.
The decor was beautiful No tv in room
It was so comfortable, quiet, and Vicki Was such a delight she was there for all our needs we had a great night. We felt like we were at our home away from home. Nothing!!!!
Vicki does a great job making you feel at home , and her breakfast is always great and on time . We prefer stronger coffee , but that is our European taste . See above .
We liked the proximity to Winter Park. The hotel is walking distance to eateries, shopping center, and shuttle pick up/drop off area. The staff, especially , was extremely helpful. The hospitality we received from the hotel staff was exceptional. The parking area is limited and a bit crowded.
location and friendly staff no
Within walking distance to everything we did in Winter Park.
Downtown location. There were some dogs that barked.

this hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and affordable.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. What else do you expect?
checking out noise, smell, spiders
The location is very handy and the staff is kind and professional.
large clean room not enough cable channels (no espn, fox, cartoon channel)

Easy access on main street. Shuttle Bus to the ski area is 1/2 block away. Location is very close to many resteraunts. Friendly manager. Not a chain. Locally run.
Basic motel. Nice. As expected or slightly better. We had a second floor room. If it's a factor for you, the stairs are challenging.

Excellent customer service. Very attentive and helpful staff from check-in , maid service, restaraunts, and casinos.
Staff was nice and responsive to our requests. Bed not comfortable. Road noise. Slow to make up room (we left mid-morning, returned late afternoon and room was still not cleaned). Missing room amenities like ice bucket, do not disturb sign, in-room safe locked and took maintenance some time to finally get open/working. Food in BBQ restaurant was not hot. Prime Rib sandwich in Tradewinds cafe was tasteless. Will probably stay at Ameristar Hotel next time even though it is a bit more expensive. Had good breakfasts there and seemed like a more upscale property.
Poor customer service cafe is bad The cafe
We've stayed in Blackhawk dozens of times and Lady Luck is always one of our favorite choices. Great location near all the casinos we love (especially playing on site).
It was clean and appeared to be taken care of. Every person was very kind, friendly and helpful.
The restricted access for hotel guests only. There was pee on the toilet seat. The bed was really hard and the air conditioner didn't work well.
Overall, not bad. Painful check-in process. Receptionist very flustered and did not seem to know what she was doing. Room key card did not work. Showers were luke warm at best. No laundry bag provided.
Ease of check in One staffer - Lawrence - ruined the whole experience by himself. My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday, collectively spending in excess of $3000 between Lady Luck and their sister location, Isle of Capri. Lawrence is a floor manager at Lady Luck. He spoke to and treated us as though we were 4 year olds. There are many choices for hotels in that area and the next time I take a group of friends up there, we will choose somewhere else because of our experiences with Lawrence.
The location.. It was dirty. One room had stuff oozing from the wall. The other room that I had, had blood on the wall. The staff was grumpy, there was no amenities, everything in the room was broken, no hot water, and no room service. If you stay in Black Hawk stay some place else.
Towels were dirty. Shower curtain contained disgusting stain which means it had not been changed from the previous guest.
No swim pool all about the casions. Not a good selection of events, coffee stores or relaxation.
I had to request our room to be cleaned so we could take a shower at 2:3o p.m. The rooms are so thin that sleeping is impossible, you can hear everything going on in the hallways at 1:00 a.m. Not everyone wants to gamble 24/7. The selection of restaurants was very minimal and the prices were more than I was willing to pay for the quality of food.
