10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house and rooms are stunning. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Wont consider staying at any other place when next in Grahamstown.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were excellent and the lounge area is stunning.
7.5 Good
Cons: Ran out of toilet paper and swipe machine was not connecting. May have been charged twice for sundries (paid cash after swipe machine failed to connect, but received a transaction alert later).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming with excellent hospitality. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend our friends to stay.
Cons: Nothing

7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Stunning location. Great game viewing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great food, lovely staff and great trips. We enjoyed every moment and will return again, this was our second trip to Pumba. The photo opportunities are fantastic, we observed lots of animals in their natural habitat and our very knowledgeable ranger filled in all the detailed, just great.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff and hotel facilities were excellent.
Cons: A game reserve exists to show off game in a short period of time. We visited Pumba in March 2008 and found the game drives excellent with all of the big-5 viewable. On this occasion, the roads had deteriorated dramatically to the point of major discomfort during much of the drives and the game viewed by us was limited. As an example, we spent 15-minutes during one game drive observing a stationary tortoise. We intended to use this visit as reconnaissance for a visit with friends in May, 2020 but unless we receive information confirming significant improvement, sadly, we will have to find an alternative game reserve.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The luxurious and well-designed water chalets were cosy and comfortable and enjoyed magnificent views of the lake and resident hippos. The game reserve provided superior animal sightings -including that of the rare white lion.
Cons: The food was slightly disappointing but was still very good. Dinner felt a little rushed and singularly lacking in atmosphere.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was a fabulous stay. The rooms and buildings are all beautiful. You can check in from 1.30pm and enjoy lunch on your first day and you can take a game drive in the morning you check out. At first we thought this stay was expensive but when you consider it includes all your food, drink and game drives it is good value.
Cons: The food was good but not as good as we have enjoyed elsewhere and for an exclusive place would have expected slightly better than elsewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved every minute from start to finish. Stayed one night in Bush lodge and one night in water lodge. It's true when travel agents etc say one isn't any better than the other just few differences but both 10/10. I preferred the water lodge for the view but wife preferred Bush lodge for the suite layout but honestly if just stayed in one you will not have any complaints at all. Game drive rangers really care about giving you best experience possible, food excellent and staff create a family feel to the reserve. Will be recommending it to friends and family confident that they will thank me later.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and amazing game drives.
