Room is big Not clean, smelly Wifi is not working
The place was dirty everywhere! doors and locks were broken.. and no one seemed to care about anything.
The only good thing was the location for visiting Niagara Falls. The pictures online did not match the hotel at all. The first room I was in the lights didn't work. We were put in a different room and that one had a shower/tub that got clogged the first time it was used and I had to pull SOMEONE ELSES HAIR out of the drain. Also the staff forgot to bring me towels when I called. The people staying there seemed like drug dealers too. They were basically living there and shady people were coming and going. Not happy.
The location is fairly convenient. The front desk clerk was friendly. The entire place smelled bad. The room was filthy and some of the outlets had exposed wires. There was a cup full of cigarette ashes on the balcony of a non-smoking room. There was an adult toy in the drawer.
Dirty property and the worst front receptionist. Name was Sheela.
Nothing. Worst place ever All the staff, facilities and services
Caroline at the front desk was amazing! She tried to find us a cleaner, more comfortable room. When that wasn't possible she brought us a fan and was very apologetic for the lack of cleanliness of our room. She even offered to clean it herself! The room was outdated and dirty. There clearly had been some maintenance completed recently as there was drywall dust and white putty everywhere. Something must have been removed due to the large square of carpet that was discolored and frayed. The bathroom was dirty and we tried to touch nothing. The only reason we stayed instead of cutting our losses and going to another hotel was that it was late after a day of driving and hiking and we were getting up early so we were desperate to get to sleep.
Perfect place to bring your side woman Didn't even have shampoo....
We knew from pictures and other research the place would be "roughing it" to say the least. So we were glad we had the foresight to pack our own sheets and cleaning supplies. When we got there it was worse then we imagined. The bottom sheet was not fitted and left the disgusting mattress uncovered by about the bottom 2 feet. Just generally; save your money and buy a tent! Camping is cleaner, and you would be more likely to use a campsite shower then that one.
Leaving! Parking lot condition! Black mold in bathroom!!! Dirty floor! Suspicious stain on head board! Peeling paint on bathroom door! Rusty heaters! The entire room was a "Pig Sty!" Should be reported to the NYS Department of Health!!! Kayak should be ashamed to list a property like this!!
The price of the room is expensive in comparison with the standing of the hotel. And it's certainly not due to the proximity of the Niagara Falls (about 15min per car). Possibility certainly to find a better hotel with the same price closer to the Niagara falls.
The manager was friendly and helpful. The room was so uncomfortable - we only stayed one hour and then ran to a nicer hotel . It was really awful - low ceilings, noisy, smoky, small, cheap, scratchy linens, - you name it!
Low price room was clean not fantastic
Bed was uncomfortable, as were the pillows.
Staff was very friendly and the room was quite comfortable. Bathroom was very nice and recent.
The room was large and accommodated 5 people easily The mattresses need replacing and also the bedding. Continental Breakfast was poor and there was no room for it. The rooms need updating. Bath tub slow to drain.
the staff was very friendly, when we arrive late they leave the door for us, as well as the breakfast of next day. the wall of the family suite is really thin, and noise is significent during night.
Great Location and layout. The motel is family owned and they ensure personal touch to the services they provide. The owners are jovial and ready to helo and guide the tenants. Would definitly stay with them during my next visit
closeness to Niagara Falls.
Very lovely room, and an amazing value for the price. Staff was friendly, place was cute. Continental breakfast was pretty sub-par, but you have a fridge and microwave in your room, so it doesn't matter very much.
comfortable location, nice rooms, well-equipped. nice hotel staff, easy access to local attractions, shops, within minutes from a big factory outlet continental breakfast - I thought it would be organized in a better way
Hospitality; Lila and her husband genuinely provided customer service that matters. They kept a parking spot for us. Gave us the tissue box when we requested only 1. Offered tea when cold. Offered to throw out our larger shopping boxes. It was simple but clean and accomodating. Breakfast. I recommend steaming hot coffee / tea and or bagels / crossiants - inexpensive. I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more in the comfort of my room than going out...especially when it's super cold.
The staff was friendly and gave suggestions of places to eat and things to do. Hotel was walking distance to the Falls about a block or so. The hotel was just run down and needs some updating. It was way to expensive for the night and the condition of the room, but didn't have many other choices. Hotel was hard to find there wasn't a sign on the hotel I drove by it twice which was very frustrating.
This hotel is very close to the falls and the casino. All within walking distance. The continental breakfast was disapointing. No where to sit to eat, had to take it back to you room,.
Close to the FALLS If there is no place to find then I will stay.
Room was Clean Facility is in need of repair, tile was coming off wall, carpet in hall was filthy and hotel in general needs painting and updating. I was sure I would run into Gordon Ramsey filming "Hotel Hell"
great location-near the falls no hair dryer, small room space and parking lot,
Staff was very courteous and helpful. Location is very convenient to the falls and Rainbow bridge. Room could have been cleaner, but it is an older facility and is a good value.
Location and value for money are good. The hotel very old, it needs refreshment, there were little insects in bed, that bite me all night. It was terrible!!! Everything seems to be dirty, I'm not sure that they change bedsheets.
great location close to the falls and crossing to canada. room was clean. other guests loud and shouting at all hours of the night. hotel is attached to restaurant and is not the hotel pictured on websites.
There was nothing to like of the hotel while I arrived I got a dirty room the beds weren't done it was pretty bad I asked for a different room and the restroom was clogged didn't work.
Nothing This is a very old motel. Fairly clean. Grey old towels. It is a dump. When we left at 3 AM for our flight there was not one light on the exterior!
Not value for money ..
comfortable beds lack of tea making facilities
Recommended as a good cleaN budget hotel No
Everything was in working order and clean. Safe area. Plenty of places to shop or eat around. Run-down appearance inside and outside. Carpet stains. Cheap, overused towels. Can hear your neighbors through the wall. Mild road noise.
Clean Room, Clean bed, Clean bathroom. I think this is the best you can get at this price. It's very near to Niagara Falls. There is dunking donuts, super market, Target, gas station etc very nearby. nothing
location A litle noisy
Convenient location, priced well, clean rooms, courteous staff available for a late check in for a tired traveler. Small office for coffee and danish
The room's are really clean. The housekeeping staff are really rude. They talk laudly and knocked when somebody getting it on.They push there towels push cart really laud.Walks in the room while you still in there.Puts there damn blanket on top of your thing's.Doesn't say there sorry.Doesn't give anybodys privacy.Staring when you step outside the room.Walks back and fourt while your in front of the hotel.Really rude.
The only thing this motel had was it convenience. The motel was terrible. The furnishings and fixtures were terrible. The bathroom was not clean and the sink was almost hanging off the wall.
The staff are very patient and friendly. Before arrival, I called them four times to change my rooms because my schedule changed due to some emergencies happened. I felt really sorry to bother the staff so many times but they were very patient and helpful. The rooms are cozy and the location is great. There is a fantastic Chinese Buffet and a 24/7 supermarket within walking distance. Also, there is free shuttle to the Niagara Falls State Park. If you wanna travel to Niagara Falls, I strongly recommend you to stay at Swiss Cottage Inn.
economical, clean, basic room cheapskate continental breakfast (mini donuts, danish, coffee)
Beds were comfy. Hot breakfast a nice bonus. Very close to shopping!-
Front desk staff and break-fast was awesome... Carpets were not clean and could sense smoking smell inside the room ...
hotel staff was very friendly and helpful Hotel Was being renovayed during our stay
Comfortable bed, ice cold air conditioner, fridge, free breakfast, clean, decent price Thin walls, could hear people talk clear in the bathroom, also could hear every movement in the room above us.
Refunded the money The cleanliness did not meet basic requirements. We found hair in the tub, on towels, mirrors, on the sheets. The mattress had huge pee stains.
Ease of booking and price was great Room was very small
This is a very modest hotel, no drawers to place things, no ammenities such as hair dryer or coffee maker in room. First hotel I have ever been in with not much to offer. Please see above
room was affordable, clean, quiet, and location was convenient to my trip to niagara falls...it only took less than 10 minutes to get to attraction areas like the fall and casino, staff friendly, would definitely consider staying again if need arises without a doubt.
It was a very basic room that did not include shampoo or conditioner
I thought the location and price was very good. I also liked the flat screen TV mounted to the wall which saved space. I believe this motel is fairly new as there was no coffee maker, alarm clock or small fridge in our room.
Clean room, affordable price thanks to Kayak. No shampoo in the room so I went to the front desk to ask for some. The rather loud young woman at the front desk exclaimed, "All we got is these packets!" and then presented to me a fistful of very thin sealed-foil pouches that I had to tear open with my teeth. Each packet contained about a quarter ounce of shampoo. I had to rip open three of them to lather my hair once. Forget about repeating. The place was pretty nice for a Motel 6. I guess they needed something to preserve their reputation as a cheap, uncomfortable place to stay. Note: The asking price for this room was $200.
The motel was fairly new and very clean. An excellent value, close the the Falls and shopping. No breakfast. No fridge in room.
value employees and that they didn't honor my reservation
The rooms are pretty nice and modern with comfortable beds. The bathroom was dirty and the gentleman working the front desk seemed more interested in getting back to what ever he was doing in the back room.
Ashbah (spelling?) greeted us in the office when we arrived. She was extremely gracious, professional, and courteous. She is a great asset to your business. My elderly mother was with us so a room on the first floor was quite helpful. The room smelled like a wet dog. The floors looked like they had not been scrubbed in months. We did not want to take off our shoes. If the first floor rooms are often used for pets and thus not kept to as high of a standard regarding cleanliness, customers should know that before committing to those rooms. When we used this motel a year ago, we stayed on the second floor and everything was very clean and nice. So we were especially disappointed this year. But I think this year was an anomaly and we will call ahead with specifics next time.
It is too close to the highway, you can hear everything. The bed was dirty... A lot of hairs in it.
The worker was very nice and polite. I was expecting something completely different. When I walked in, the first thing that popped in my mind was, am I safe? It felt very creepy when I walked in. No color on the walls, the kitchen area was very sloppy, the checkin desk was a mess. And it had a smell. I felt like I needed more locks on my door in my room. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner. I didnt bring mine because I thought the hotel room should have them. But I didnt even shower in the morning. The sheets on the bed were very thin. I was pretty cold I almost turned on my heater. I know I paid less then 70.00 bucks but shouldn't matter. Im sure that the motel could afford a BIG update/ renovation in one week from all the guest payments..
I liked the location The beds weren't that comfortable.
I didnt really like any of the service. I didnt like how wifi or breakfast was not complimentary when the fare was 60 dollars meanwhile, the EcnoLodge next door provides both of that complimentary for a fare of fifty dollars.
We liked the location and comfort of the beds. We were very disappointed that the rooms had no coffee maker, no clock and Cable that didn't work most of the time, plus no FOX News on the cable when it did work. Also, even though we hated that the hotel did not have a continental breakfast we were told by the check in clerk that complimentary coffee was available in the lobby each morning. That turned out not to be true. Very stripped down facility.
No free WiFi at this hotel. What you pay for is not worth the money.
Everything was clean and well maintained -- rooms, hallways, the parking lot, etc. They have nicely furnished rooms, friendly staff, and a very convenient location. One does feel like getting more than expected for the money. The old furnishings left over from what I guess is a recent remodeling were still laying around outside, and the rooms' locks are simple residential parts, not ones more appropriate to a hospitality setting.
It was outside city and quiet
Worst money value I have seen in very long time. toilet make very loud noice at night, there is no coffee or hot water in the room
We enjoyed our room very much Loved the jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing very clean thats a plus The bed was a little stiff and the room was kinda small but all together i was a nice place to stay
Pretty inexpensive; 15 miles away from the Falls The room looks old and unkempt, the bathroom was in a pretty bad condition. Everything looks old; not a comfy bed.
It was a nice place to lay your head for the night. It was very clean and has nice rooms. With the brand new TV, the fridge and mocrowave and the comfortable beds make it a nice little motel.
nothing special nothing special
It was significantly cheaper than other area hotels. Easy check out. Good 20-30 min from the falls so no traffic. Lack of helpfulness, too few towels, uncomfortable beds, environment made me feel uneasy staying, door wasn't always secure(would sometimes swing open and no deadbolt), heavy cleaner smell when first checked in and we had to air out the room, not good air circulation in rooms Would not stay again.
the location between Niagarafall & Buffalo with its shoping center The staff attitude was very tough, furthermore they don't clean the room routinely
Location was easy to drive to and frok Niagara falls without the price of being in the city. The woman at the front desk didn't speak English well. She was super friendly she just couldn't answer any questions on trying to find places so make sure youbknow where you are going before hand.
Cheap. The room had the "under construction" look to it. The bed was uncomfortable, there was mold in the bath tub. There was tape on the walls as if they were in the midst of painting it. Had a odd smell to it too. We didn't dare walk around the room with our socks off. Didn't pay much for it so you get what you pay for.
Super staff, clean Motel. Oooold
Not far from the falls Place is falling apart
Nothing the bed had bed bugs the staff was very rude. The room was not clean very dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I didnt like anything. I even had to call the cops because they were rude and nasty about the bed bugs. Its a shame you have them on your hotel list it makes you look bad. I would never go through booking.com again.
The location Very small rooms the photos on the internet are not accurate. The hotel is really a motel, not what I was looking for.
This hotel is close to the main road and has easy access to Niagara Falls. The staff were nice but not very helpful. The hi-speed internet access consisted of an old computer in the main lobby/dining room. The pool was small, and the rooms were not like those shown on the website. Breakfast was just white toast, grape jelly, corn flakes, and coffee, and juice. Not very impressive
Nothing good about this hotel Dirty towels, very old and dirty microwave and refrigerator. U cant even put your food in them. Too expensive for what they offer. Walls peeling off. Very old air conditioning that makes a loud noise all night. Couldnt wait for morning to come so i can get out of this dirty looking room before my children contract a disease. They had three supposedly white towels in the room. One had turned brown already, one had a large dark red stain on it and the other had lots of hair. This place needs to be completely broken down and rebuilt, dont be deceived by what you see on the pictures.
location, friendly staff, shuttle to falls and casino
Poor beds and bad toiletries with sink overflowing
Nothing Everything about it was horrible. It is a motel! It's overall dirty, cracked paint, moldy, cracked doors, smells, rude staff, bugs, spider webs everywhere. The "breakfast" is served in the rental office which has a tiny table. It's sticky and old. They should state it is a motel for people traveling from far and guiding themselves by the photos and ratings. What they promote and advertise (with photos and all) it looks like a pleasant place to stay yet when yo get there and see it you just want to run away. We had to cancel because of the conditions of the place and ended up loosing half the money we paid. They refused to accommodate that for us since their policy states that cancelation within a certain time frame has a one night fee penalty. I understand that and I would have been satisfied if I had canceled for reasons not related to the above mentioned. If the place is being deceitful and is falsely advertised then I shouldn't have to be penalized for cancelation since they area e fulfilling their end. I would not stay there even it if was for free or if someone paid me to stay. It is horrible!!!!! Lastly, booking it trough the specific search sites and not directly from the place is also no guarantee of anything. Neither the website used to so the purchase nor the place of stay take responsibility and work with the customer to make things right when it deals with issues that are not created by the customer (meaning cancelations due to lack of cleanliness and overall dissatisfaction, and being wrongly informed)
Rebuild a new hotel. Instead to repair or renovate.
Convenience to the town and the attractions
It cost me about $200.00 for the night . But I did not get service at all . I try to complaint but the famale at the counter does not speak English . So I did not bother her to complaint . I just left the motel . Filthy room .
The Hotel's owners are great. They're helpful, kind and nice. It was really close to Niagara Falls and sopping centers. The room was clean and equipmwnts that are in room were working. we stayed room 2 and our wi-fi connection was really poor.
The place was clean, quiet and confortable with a good price considering the hollidays The personel there was kind and very helpfull Don't recall any
Easy to get to and accomandating Hotel room was small and a tight fit with double bed and two bunk beds not used.
The service is good, the receptionist (the motel owner) give a lot traveling tips at Niagara falls, like free car Parking near the fall which is really help if you drive to Niagara falls The only thing I really feel not comfortable is the bath towel not so clean.
Charles was excellent - he really cared about our wellbeing and if we were going to be happy in the room that I chose and phoned me and offered to change the room for us to different rooms that would accommodate us - he was right. He also went above and beyond to make sure that we had instructions on how to get to all the places we were planning to go. Only one negative thing was that my daughter had a problem with the water in the shower - one minute it was cold and the next minute it was extremely hot. This was before any of us were up using the toilet or sink, so it must have been someone else using the water in another unit. A little later the rest of us had showers and it was just fine, so not sure what happened when she was having her shower.
Nice place, friendly staff. Fruit tray was nice and staff helpful. A bit noisy as its an old building.
Close to where we were going
Such good service and what a nice place. Very cozy and clean. Could use some updating of bathrooms. Water pressure was sporadic.
The fact that there was a microwave and fridge in the room, it was clean and cozy. The staff left us a little basket of fruit and drinkswhich was very nice. The staff gave use preprinted maps of where to go for shopping and nearby shops. Awesome! The Only thing I didn't like was that we did have access to our own thermostat, so we got thee late and the office was closed and it was cold on the room to what we are use to.
Unhappy with Kayak giving me a room with just a double bed (Extra cot arranged) when no. of persons mentioned was 3. I should not be even suggested a room with double bed with 2 persons. The extra cot was terrible with springs coming out. Avoid Super 8 in Kenmore/Buffalo
It's cheap. No extra towels . No elevator.
