Pros: Mr Tazi the owner super polite! Super available. The house is very big nice and comfortable. Breakfast big and delicious. 24/h security surveillance and internal parking
Cons: The position in the booking map in the GPS is not exact. I had to park and look for the house by walk. Calling mr. Tazi, he came out from the house and got us by walk 500m from the house and guided us to the house. Fantastic!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Mr. Tazi is a gem and bent over backwards to make us happy. He served us breakfast in the yard and we met his pet turtle. Karma Restaurant just opened, small but super! & walking distance.
Cons: The taxi driver we picked knew zip about the city so we had a difficult time finding the place, so select a Taxista carefully!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A good, quiet place to relax in, with a private garden area away from the crowds and traffic. The room was fine, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and filling. The owner and staff were welcoming and helpful, also providing hot drinks and water at any time at no additional cost. The property is about 10 minutes walk to the Médina area, and 5 minutes walk to a taxi area serving both the city and other areas, e.g. Volubilis.
Cons: The private bathroom was across the hallway, and was a bit worn but serviceable,

Pros: My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the lovely Ville Tazi. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet, matching the rest of the home which has been in the Tazi family for many centuries. Mr. Tazi was an excellent host, treating us like family and providing helpful advice for our travels. He has just recently opened up his home to guests and is currently working to make his home even larger to accommodate more travellers. The location is great......in a quiet part of the city and a 10-15 minute walk to the medina, with a taxi station nearby if you wish to visit Volubilis or Moulay Idriss.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious. It is a 5 min walk to the Medina so it is centrally located although hard to get to via Waze. Once we were directed to the nearby parking lot we were fine. Breakfast was good. Wifi was good.
Cons: Our room backed onto the street so it was noisy. Better to try and get a room on the opposite side with a balcony and a view as they looked to be the same size.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great meals - breakfast and dinner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts and dinners were great! The dinning room was extremely pleasant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location on the edge of the medina, easy to find (signposted from the main parking lot). Short walk to Bab Mansour and nearby sites. It's a family-run place with incredibly friendly staff. The receptionist offered to make arrangements for a driver to Volubilis and Moulay Idris for the next morning for 400 dirhams. However, we were too late making up our minds, so the owner's son volunteered to take us himself, which was very kind and generous! The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a lovely balcony with a great view, but it was too hot to sit outside so we enjoyed the AC inside the room. This place originated as a restaurant, so naturally they served a delicious breakfast spread and dinner, but be aware that portions are huge!
Cons: The lights in the bathroom were a little dim, but really not a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was just great! We had the room with the balcony which has a great view. The Riad is just a few minutes away from the market.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: An absolutely lovely and relaxing place to stay! The property's owners - Evelyne and Gérald - and its staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, making this one of the best places we have stayed so far in Morocco. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Meknes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Very warm staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Riad Yamcha is one of the loveliest riads we stayed in during our seven weeks in Morocco. With only five rooms, but very large common area, it is very comfortable, especially with the offered suite room with private terrace. Our suite room was very comfortable, with very comfortable bed, pillows and linens, a large bathroom with large shower and endless hot water. The staff were excellent, catering to our every need, offering mint tea throughout the day, and serving one of the best breakfasts we had during our journey through Morocco, including breads, fruit salad, eggs on order, juices, coffee, and all the accompaniments.
Cons: The wifi signal was unfortunately quite intermittent to our room and even on the terrace outside, so could use some attention for guests accustomed to better service. Otherwise, everything else was great.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the communal breakfast, the tasteful decor, and the friendly staff. We also liked the location, close to the central medina square. The riad was very clean, spacious, and bright.
Cons: Our one main negative experience was that, upon our arrival, the hostess pushed us to hire a tour guide. She assured us she had the perfect one for us. It turned out to be her niece, a sweet girl who knew absolutely nothing about history and was not fluent enough in English to be conducting the tour. Despite her lack of professionalism and knowledge, she charged us 300dh (the rate for a qualified tour guide). We felt very taken advantage of by the hostess, who used the situation to secure a gig for her niece instead of recommending us a more qualified guide.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to help and assist.
Cons: The bathroom had only a small window and lacked ventilation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cozy decor , great breakfast , spacious rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Personal warm approach of the owners, greenery in patio....
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is extremely beautiful (tasteful furniture, beautiful paned windows, lovely bedlinen and towels) and very clean. Entering the quiet patio after walking the busy streets of Meknes feels a bit like paradise. The staff (the lady who runs it and Sabrina) were very kind and we felt really welcome! As Sabrina speaks good English, we enjoyed having a chat with her and learning more about Moroccan culture. Besides, breakfast and dinner were excellent! Thank you sooo much!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great find. We had a really lovely stay there. Wonderful staff, beautiful riad with tradional furniture ithroughout, including in the reception, restaurant & bedrooms,; our bedroom was v comfortable with ensuite with hot shower - bliss. It was offseason & v quiet the day we arrived & Hassan let us choose our room which was an added bonus. There are a number of lovely terraces & we ate one night up there. We also had tea there as well as when we arrived, accompanied by yummy biscuits. Also to my husband's delight they were able to procur a beer/wine which he was really longing for after a full day sighseeing (we loved Voulibis & Molay Idriss by the way) All in all a great place to stay - thanks for all the help & exceptional service, Hassan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcome by staff and owners, food, finding us wine & the riaf decor and ambiance.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The inside of the Riad was truly beautiful. Our room (the family suite) was spectacular - One Thousand and One Nights level decoration, and very comfortable. The layered terrace was incredibly beautiful, with lots of plants, and safe for children to roam around in. Breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. The riad has games (eg puzzles) for children which helped the transition times while everyone was getting ready to go out or rest time for parents.
Cons: The location is right next to one of the side entrance doors to the medina, in front of the zoo. There is a public parking nearby. Location is not exceptional - there are some narrow medina streets with not much light and few people. However, 2-3 min out you enter a main street and from there it's not too far from the main square where the evening market and restaurants are- it is about a 10-15 min walk. The hotel needs to get its credit card policy right. When we booked, the hotel was advertised as accepting credit cards. No extra charges were mentioned. After the booking, we received an information email which said that the hotel would charge extra 3% for credit card payment. I did not see the email as we were traveling. When it was time to pay the hotel first tried to resist payment by credit card and when we insisted it tried to charge us the extra 3%, which we refused to pay out of principle. The hosts were clearly offended by it. It all turned a great experience into a bit of a sour ending.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was near the medina, but not inside, so we could easily reach our car for making trips around the area. Rooms are comfortable the roof is a good place to hang out. The people are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Probably for reasons the hotel can’t do anything about sometimes you smell a touch of sewer. The big room downstairs was not appealing to us. Too dark. We sat on the roof all the time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet spot where you get to experience local life. Hassan was most helpful and made our stay outstanding.
Cons: Room highly decorated
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fabulous on the terrace upstairs. The staff were wonderful. Dinner was excellent. The responsiveness was fantastic as well. We had a lovely stay!
Cons: Getting receipts took a long time, and some of the room facilities could use a bit of a refresh. But overall, it was wonderful! Thank you!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay here - lovely room, wonderful roof terrace and delicious breakfasts. We ate dinners here too - perfectly cooked traditional food. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. We loved this beautiful Riad - the best we stayed in on our trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad was clean, comfy and nothing was to much to ask for. Our room was large and accommodated our family of 4 easily. Would happily stay here again when in Meknes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The riad is at the edge of the Medina, so easy to find. The rooms are very well appointed and attractive, and the bed was very comfortable. The terrace on the roof of the riad is very nice, a great place to relax and have breakfast and dinner. The food was very good at the The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Because the riad is at the edge of the Medina, it is a short walk to all the main attractions.

10.0 Excellent

Cons: The "parking" was terrifyng and full, we had to leave the car very far. The Riad NEVER answer to our phon call
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very nice and the rooms were comfortable. The location was great, a bit away from the most crowded areas so it felt less touristy, but convenient to a gate and not too hard to find.
Cons: The rooms on the first floor don't have windows. It's not the property's fault, and we wanted to be in the medina and everything, we were just a bit surprised and the air can feel a bit stale.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts, who took over management, in September, are incredibly friendly and helpful. The interior and design are well thought of and beautifully made. The location is in the middle of the Medina and next to all the highlights of Meknes. The hosts will tell you all about a nice walk you can do through the city center. The breakfast was second to none. When you visit and the weather is more on the autumn side of things, ask for the lamb and raisin tajin. One of the best we've had in traveling two weeks of Marokko.
Cons: Parking is not next door, you will have to walk 5 minutes. There were no windows to the outside, but that's what you get when you want to spend a night in the middle of the Medina. The air felt still fresh after the night.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: See above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Riad. Wonderfully quiet and centrally located in the heart of the Medina. Excellent breakfast. The staff were very attentive and laundry service was available and welcomed by us. The rooftop terrace was a nice refuge at night and we could hear all the lively festivities from the Medina. Highly recommend this Riad. You won’t be disappointed!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Riad Safir is in a very convenient location towards the edge of Meknes Medina, it was very easy to find without a guide and was well signposted from the main street. Pleasant Riad, with a sedate decor in primary reception room in cooling grey tones with burgundy accents. Our room was more traditionally decorated with lovely painted woodwork on the doors, Lacey iron work on the balustrades around the upper walkways, lead light windows, mosaic tiled floors and intricate plaster relief work around windows, and archways. Comfy bed, but not hard (which is usually the case in Morocco). Staff were available and friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive, giving us plenty of space and privacy. We were given a choice of three rooms, as we arrived early in the day, which was nice. Breakfast was standard fare for Morocco and fresh and plentiful, usual assortments of various breads, condiments, yoghurts, juice, tea or coffee, and hard boiled eggs, served on the upstairs terrace.
Cons: Everything was fine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and cozy place. Super comfortable bed. Stylish - traditional style and a pinch of modern. Location: Médina which means - the heart of the city. Archraf is truly helpful and really nice. He explained me many map and told a lot interesting thinks about Meknès. Pros: The central location close to Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss is fabulous if you have a car, and the onsite gated parking is secure. Hosts are very nice and the dinner and breakfast were good. Large room and bathroom in a pleasant setting.
Cons: The bed sagged in the middle big time...both people roll to the center. Cold in the room in April and no heater provided. Wifi only worked in the common area, not in our room. Guests should be sure to check the towels on arrival...we were given towels for only one person and didn’t notice until it was time to shower. Not very convenient for 2 people!

Pros: Pool area was lovely. Views from rooftop was impressive.staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty Riad.
Cons: Dining area a little dark and claustrophobic. Furniture around the Riad tatty. Think more could be done with communal areas to make them more comfortable.. Didn’t get the room we asked for.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The building, although a bit up and down with stairs, was architecturally remarkable, with some stunning public rooms and a wonderful roof terrace. The traditional breakfast was plentiful and good. The staff were most helpful in arranging our 1/2 day tour to Volubilis.
Cons: I would have liked a firmer mattress.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and very attentive. Breakfast was awesome with European Coffee, fresh juice , toast(bit hard) pancakes , homemade jams and an egg. Pool was a fantastic bonus as it was 36 both days we were here. Easy access out of the Riad to Ladham Square and sites. Close to taxi stands. We did a day trip by ourselves to Volubilis and Moulay Idsriss and getting there and back went extremely smoothly from this location. So many places to sit and relax with great panoramic views of the Medina. Local restaurants and minimarts close by.
Cons: Mattress was very firm but we still slept well as we were exhausted after walking all day
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful interior, lovely room, excellent staff and delicious breakfast
Cons: Shower was adequate but not the best
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED this place and even ended up booking an extra night!! The room was massive and well lit, with beautiful decor. The Riad itself is actually 3 put together so it’s super fun to get around, going around corners and up and down stairs. The staff were super friendly, the terraces were gorgeous and the pool was a fabulous bonus! The location is also great too. We’re driving ourselves around Morocco and we’re able to park our car very nearby in a secure spot and walk only a couple minutes into the Médina. The directions and signage are good. All in all, one of our best stays in Morocco!
Cons: The bathroom did have a bit of a smell but it really didn’t bother us at all. Just closed the door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great trip and excellent hotel.
Cons: Beautiful Riad, big and well cleaned rooms, gourmet food, friendly and servicemind staff. We very appreciate for our menager Muchamed, he was one of the best person who we have met in Meknes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The interior of the riad is exceptional, there are 3 courtyards with exquisite original tiling and decoration. Much better than some tourist attractions we had paid to see! There is a pool and expansive roof terrace which were a lovely haven from the city below. The views were spectacular and everywhere was tastefully and intricately decorated. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was strong. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind and helpful.
Cons: Almost all of the tourist attractions in Meknes have closed down for renovations with no note as to when they will re-open, this meant there were limited things to do here. However, the riad was so exceptional we were certainly happy we visited and enjoyed what the riad had to offer instead.

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location in the middle of the old medina. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful terrace at the top floor where they also serve a very good dinner if you like.
Cons: The room was nice but a little worn. For me personally the bathroom was not up to standard. The toilet and sink were clean but the walls of the shower were very worn and not clean, a lot of soap remains from previous guests. Despite that I still I had a nice stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful, he even carried all our luggage to our car which was a 10 minutes walk. Perfect location in the medina but easy to find - superb view from the roof terrace (sunset!!!). Very good breakfast. Free tea and coffee at any time.

Cons: - beds not comfy - no noise isolation (we could hear our room neighbour's and all the noise coming from the street) - bad smell coming from the toilet - no window in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The people in this RIad are very hospitable. We were welcomed with a coffee or tea on the rooftop terrace, helped with everything, etc. We dined in the Riad as well, and the staff went above and beyond to satisfy our need.
Cons: The room was quite small, not a problem if you just want to sleep there and explore the city and surroundings during the day, but if you want to spend some time alone in the room a bit more space is nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My first stay in a riad caught me by surprise. The welcome was more than gracious, the room surprisingly large and featuring lounges as well as beds, and the view from the roof terrace was brilliant. Zachariah was an excellent host and the breakfast was traditional, tasty and filling. A great experience placing you right in the middle of local colour and life.
Cons: There were no real negatives, the shortage of mod cons was part of the charm of the experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the thing is lovely in the house, staff, environment, location all is the fantastic in the whole trip. You can take the bus no.5 form the train station to the Bab Berdieyinne and walk into the old town about 5-10mins to the guesthouse. Good job!

Pros: The owner was very nice and welcoming! Terrace is amazing! Try to get there at sunset. Location is good, in center!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, the most friendly people i have seen to a hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Host was very kind, gentle and helpful. Location is quite near to parking and easy to be found. Terrace was a quite and cozy place where enjoy a cup of mint tea. Breakfast was tasty and generous.
Cons: Bed with headboard and footboard was too short for me. Hopefully our room comes with one double bed and 2 single bed and in the single footboard was shorter. Bathroom window was located to high so was impossible to open it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is really good, right in the medina and you get to interesting places very quickly! The owners are really friendly and welcoming! They also speak english and always try their best to help you! The hostel is clean! Our room was really nice, 2 beds and an additional chillout area with 2 sofas! And the teracce has a really nice view! The wifi was good, but sometimes a bit slow. And the breakfast was ok (eggs, jam and bread), but could have been a bit more... It was one of the more expensive places I've stayed and a lot cheaper hostels were equal or even better, but all in all I can recommend this place!
Cons: Everything was good, but there could be more plugs in the room! The shower was not hot, not even really warm! And the wifi was not the best all the time...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing building... friendly staff... big bathroom... nice terrace...breakfast...and do go to the restaurant... that was an amazing experience... and best meal I had...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room. Decorations are cool. Kind staff. Close walk to attractions.

Guests of the Riad Hiba can enjoy traditional cuisine in the restaurant and relax with a Moroccan tea in the lounge. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad Hiba made us feel like family. They were so attentive and warm. We stayed 3 nights at Riad Hiba. Meknès is a fantastic city to visit and it’s the people that make it worth it. We especially enjoyed being able to see a bit of Moroccan life without the mass tourism aspect. The magic of the Riad and the nice rooftop terraces for a delicious breakfast in the morning and sunset views in the evening. Highly recommended!
Cons: A few issues with the bathroom but the Riad’s friendly staffed helped resolve it on the spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice riad, the decor is amazing, the terraces on the roof are superb. And the breakfast delicious. Really the best place to stay in Meknes!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff and made every effort to make my stay great. The private tour of the old town was excellent and reasonably priced!
Cons: The parking was quite a hike from the accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little Riad is absolutely unique - a mix of old and preserved craftsmanship with creative modern touches like recessed lighting and silvery accents. It was figured from floor to ceiling and felt like staying in a genie’s bottle. The host upgraded our room for free as there was a vacancy, and our party of 3 stayed happy and comfortable in our luxurious room. We only had one day in meknes, but the host helped us immediately hire a private ride to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss, and took all of the hassle out of our visit. The location is perfect - on the edge of the Medina and a quick walk to the new city. And breakfast was excellent! Meknes is definitely with a trip, and this little Riad is a must-stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Huda was very informative and spoke great english. The breakfast was simple but delicious in the morning. She also helped us get a taxi to the train station before checkout. its usually quite difficult to get a taxi which can take large luggage. Huda also helped us lift our large suit cases up the stairs on check in and check out. Over all we were happy with our stay as the location was really good in the medina and is only a 20min walk to new Meknes.
Cons: We found the lighting quite dim in our room, but removing the shade covers helps a lot. It would have been nice to have some basic toiletries such as a shower gel but it was fine. We found the pillows to be quite hard and scratchy, they looked great but were not the most comfortable, maybe another set of soft pillows with plain covers would be good.
7.5 Good
Cons: The shower in our room only provided cold water. The beds and cushions were not comfortable (read really hard). We left with back pain. Breakfast was definitely not special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing as well as their coffee and tea. The structure of the building is amazing! If you want a unique experience this hotel is a good place to stay. The showers are clean with hot water. The hotel is clean.
Cons: The beds are extremely comfortable but the pillows are a bit hard. I don't mind because I just rolled up a blanket and I was fine. You're in Morocco so I don't see why you should be picky over a pillow but if you are a sensitive sleeper that is something to be aware of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing decor and staff extra helpful. It's so beautiful and the location perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was the best we have ever seen it looked beter than the photos. the personel was very polite and not to forget that even if we went for breakfast almost an hour later they have kept it in order to have breakfast. also to mention that they provited with a map and info where to go in maknes. thank you thanks you and again thank you. a must visit place. not to foget the breakfast was great!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great rooftop and breakfast. Staff was very nice and suggested places to go along with a map. Room was beautiful
Cons: We were given the Cossette double but we booked the Mille et une nuits suite. We still liked the room, and I'm not sure if the info is just incorrect on here or not. Price was the same anyway. There is also no way those are king beds in the Cossette suite
6.0 Good
Pros: great location, easy to find, friendly and accomodating staff, wi-fi,
Cons: if you expect 5 stars bathroom facilities not for you
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The bedrooms are traditionally furnished, they look ok, although they are quite dark.
Cons: The bathroom is terrible. It is extremely small - 1 sqm for toilet and bathroom at the same time. It has a toilet, a tiny little sink and a big plastic bucket. It is completely impossible to take a shower in such a small place, maybe it would be possible if sitting on the toilet and taking a shower at the same time, but we did not want to try this out. So if you intend to take a shower after a hot day in the medina, do not come here.
6.4 Good
Pros: breakast + roof terrace
Cons: room had no outside window
7.7 Good
Pros: This riad was beautiful and comfortable and thanks to the multiple signs also easy to find in the confusing streets of the medina. The staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade of the room, because the room downstairs had no lock.
Cons: -
4.7 Okay
Pros: Price is not overstated! Location is near by Medina of the city - good 4 walking and sightseeing tour.(But u should know that it's just absolutely impossible 2 find the first time the location of the riad with the map on the site!! The only one way 2 find it - take a taxi - map is 2 much relative! In the reality it's located very far from railways station but according 2 the map looks like just in a few streets). Very welcome owner (I suppose hi is French) of the riad!
Cons: Good way 2 save money if u gonna stay in the Riad but bad way 2 have comfortable and pleasant stay! Riad is quite small, rooms without windows (that's why everything including beds and furnishing is dump...), condition of everything is very neglected, shower is a toilet at same time and same place (just less then 1 msq! - we didn't take a shower at all because it's very uncomfortable and unpleasant), girls from the reception speak very bed English - difficult 2 communicate, frugal breakfast...
