Late night staff was excellent! Really tried to take care of me. But my reservation was messed up and my room was given to someone else. But he managed to figure it out and get me into an alternative room quickly. I was not happy with the bill on my credit card I'm booking a Canadian room on a site I expected to be Canadian and then the charges come thru with us exchange I could have booked the room cheaper many other places including just walking in to the hotel No savings at all! Not likely to use this site again unless they fix this My email bill doesn't even show any us info And the billing is correct there
Clean and well priced. Wifi did not work in our room. The television lost signal frequently and the air conditioner was very noisy
The sauna was not working correctly; the fuse kept tripping and shutting it down.
The location was good and the price was good but I think if you had a seniors rate it would be better. We dont have much money from the Government. No, we had a good time staying with you.
Access to the 410 for travel plus in the north end to make escape easier when you're leaving.
Breakfast Sauna broken
Cleanliness How the hot/cold were reversed.
Not much different than a standard 2 star. Advertising 3.5 no way. Found the facility dirty which to me presents poorly. Carpets look like they had never seen a vacuum or broom for months. Stairwells dirty. They did not anticipate the number of guests staying when it came to morning breakfast. Running out of most things. Beds were comfortable.
The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable and we got a good night of sleep. re ate at the heritage fish restaurant (across parking lot) which was very good as well. The hotel overall is a bit dated. Old carpeting and hallways smell a bit mushy. Key cards did not work for the majority of outside doors and there was someone busy going through the dumpster when we arrived. Parked my car in front and experienced no problems whatsoever..
Room was clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous. I would stay here again. Room was a bit dated. Grouting in bathrooms needed to be redone. Breakfast was bland
Close to the Bombay Palace where I was attending a wedding. Room 112. This should not be rented when you have a hcokey team and adults running up and down the stairs which are attached to the outside wal of room 112!
Location was very convenient had to pay for parking
rooms are excellent - staff are pleasant and accomodating no
availability of Athletic Club; responsive heating front desk staff on March 3 very unhelpful when asking about bus schedules; guess they do not consider this part of their job
good position for visiting university we thought we had already paid so were surprised to learn that we had yet to pay the bill the two other hotels had already been paid .This is the first hotel we have ever stayed at including the hiltons in London where we had to pay the full price for parking the car outside !! $9
The hotel was perfectly situated for our needs, as our daughter is studying at the university and has a residence there. we were able to walk back and forwards bertween the two.
convienant and comfortable with a friendly staff
Really liked the features and the layout of the upgraded room.
Proximity to University, room amenities, reasonable price, very attentive staff
Clean, well decorated rooms, beds and linen were outstanding Pleasant staff. Good service.Great surroundings , ambience. Excellent value Minor - Iron -retractable chord would not stay put, ironing board not stable. My husband would have preferred to have the wash basin area and shower/toilet area combined. I did not mind it so much although it would have probably have been more hygenic, i.e being able to wash your hands after the toilet and before touching door etc would have been easier in the wash basin rather than the tub. Great that I could use the vanity though whilst he was in the shower ! Paking fee for outdoor parking
We stayed at this hotel because we were in a golf tournament Saturday/Sunday. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to explore what the hotel had to offer. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Spacious and clean room. Courteous staff members that were very helpful.
Fast, friendly service,
Excellent service. Very clean. And most, important, a pleasant courteous staff. I will stay there again. No complaints.
All you need for a good night\s sleep you will find here. Conveneeintly situated close to the airport. Varietry of restaurants and stores in the vicinity. Breakfast choice is very limited. Nesafe for coffee isn't what I would call "coffee." Room smelled of stale smoke. Room was rather "tired" as well as the rest of the hotel
a - there was no shampoo in the room. b- bath towel smelled of cigarettes, in non smoking room. c - when i complained at check out, tanya said "i can not do any thing". d - i had forgotten my rewards card, tanya refused to give me the points or mark my receipt so i could get it credit on next visit
We found it to be clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was quiet. It was a decent value for the money.
Location and the staff was very courteous. Everything was good.
Booked a room with a king bed and received a standard room. The air conditioner was very noisy.
I liked the general atmosphere, cleanliness and location.
We went to the movie theatre conveniently located in the same parking lot as the hotel, ate out and slept in the wonderfully comfortable bed.
the comfprt and look of their room no
Comfertabl and clean! Great house keeping and customer service!
Great accommodations with food within walking distance.........needed access to airport and was pleased with the ease of traveling there.
we have smaller kids and we used to pool. the young man and young gal were sooo helpful.we ask them about a restrant that would be family friendly ,next thing we know here he comes back with a map to the location of the restrant.they were great life gards as well.
location room size, furnture, and price
I stayed at the Comfort Inn Guelph while attending a three-day training seminar at Guelph University. The cleanliness, quiet environment and proximity of the Inn to the seminar site made it a great choice for me. Thank you! The hotel was clean, the room and bed comfortable. Breakfast was OK but minimal. It could be improved nicely with the simple addition of chilled containers of yogurt and/or fresh fruit.
The room was comfortable, the staff courteous and attentive, the breakfast was substantial. When the TV broke, it was replaced quickly. When the ceiling leaked, I was relocated to another room right away. The staff was excellent! On the Saturday night of my stay, the room above me was very noisy. It seemed like there were a good number of people in the room above me having a real party time! However, the staff person on duty did go upstairs and asked many of the people to leave. I also was moved to a room which was very quiet.
The room was very nice. The continental breakfast was excellent! I feel that this motel and others must prepare for the older generation that are retired. Thus having only one room in the whole hotel that has Geratric equipment is definitely not going the way of the present day.
www.EquineExpo.ca - attended cigarette burn hole in comforter
Clean, ok rooms. Full size ironing board, but no fridge? Noisy airconditioner and breakfast was not so good.
The room was very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast in the morning was wonderful and staff were very accomodating. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much.
The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was also very good. liked everything
It only lasted one night. I was supposed to have a 'queen' bed suite. By no stretch of the imagination was the bed a "Queen' size. It was a double at best. When I complained to the front desk I was told, "Those are our queens." Should I ever deign to stay at this hotel again, I would ask to see the room first...something I am not in the habit of having to do. Usually, hotels provide what they advertise according to clients' expectations...at least the better ones do.
Clean, efficient, good workable size On line no place to put in number of children Would have been better with two beds as requested, but overlooked?
clean, quiet. Breakfast was very good and more than the usual. Hotel was easy to find. no kettle in room
it was a very comfortable clean room and the buffet breakfast was wonderful
good suite with all you need for your stay and comfort Too far from centre of town ,pool a bit small for a decent swim we decided against using it
I went shopping, went out for dinner & nite activites I did not like the quality or lack of quality of the pillows. They were very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was excellent, and they offered alot of variety. Also, the business room with computer access was nice.
I like having the roominess of a suite with a small but useful kitchen. The staff were kind enough to waive the pet fee without my asking. I was going to leave our dog in the van but they called to tell me that I could have her in the room without paying a fee. Plus they have a great breakfast bar.
beds were not comfortable
The hotel put me in a double double size bed room initially despite the booking was for a double queen. They did change after I went back to request thge queen beds.
It was quiet. The room was basic but comfortable. The location was convenient for me. I would have appreciated having access to the internet, but it was not a big deal because I was only there for two nights.
Location was good. Clean and nice staff. Little "dinky" TV with poor reception
Continental breakfast was good.
The staff at the check in desk were not the friendliest
When I got there the room wasn't ready, the manager wasn't there and the receptionist had no idea what to do. After thirty minutes of waiting they give as a different room.
Check out clerk was very friendly and upbeat. Check in clerk was not the most friendly.
Breakfast not included
no should not be a 3 and a half star....old furnishings and mold smell......
Overall is good. None
this hotel should be rated 2.5 to 3 star maybe
Bugs were found in the hotel room. Hotel management refused to give any compensation. Very disappointing.
Location restaurant food was horrible hallway smelled of weed staff wasn't helpful room was freezing, window was opened when I arrived, heater barely worked. It ran all night.
There was nothing good it is a basic room with no thought involved in the establishments part as too guests experience. Tub was not clean carpet was not vaccines under bed. No help setting up crib got in at 7 pm maybe too late for staff too help? I liked the price
Friendly staff! The bathtub was slippery, no rubber bathmat.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
What can I say...it's Guelph...better than the Days Inn and pretty much the same price. Kid friendly which I like even though none of mine were with me...has a pool.
Location Carpet in hotel room felt old and dirty
1. attention by the staff very cooperative and kind. 2.the possibility to use the business centre: absolutely useful. 1. i was disappointed by the size of the swimming pool and of the fitness centre.2. the price
just ok not much
The full hot and cold breakfast was a real plus for a diabetic as very good food choices. So enjoyed the salt water pool as it didn't dry my skin not did I smell like bleach after. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens. The air circulation was great and quiet. One queen with a sofa and another lamp would have suited us as we like to read. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.
The suite was comfortable and clean. There was a pool, exercise space and hot tub. The breakfast was good. Wifi was slow and the drinks for sale at the desk were over priced.
the crew was very helpful, they even updated my room, and the quiteness, nice breakfast, and the cleanness of the hotel none
Beds are comfortable enough and it's fairly quite. As a academic, I had a late meeting and got back to the hotel around 230am. In the morning at about 730am a construction worker was doing loud drilling, hammering, and sawing that could be heard in all the rooms given it's proximity to the stairwell. I was on the fourth floor and the construction was happening on the first, yet I still originally thought it was happening in the room beside me! When I called down to the desk I was told they'd take care of it. An hour went by and it was only getting worse. I got up and changed and sourced out the construction. Eventually they had the guy stop. Bottom line: DON'T CONTRACT CONSTRUCTION WORKERS BEFORE YOUR CHECK-OUT TIME!
