Breakfast was excellent, with a very wide range of choices catering for all nationalities. There were options for people like me who do not want a cooked breakfast - I was pleased to find cereal, fruit, yogurt and nice bread. During our stay we were in two different rooms: initially a 'cozy double' (see comment below) and then we upgraded (at very low cost) to a de luxe room, which was extremely comfortable, with plenty of space, good light from windows and a spacious walk-in shower. The hotel is beautifully clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
The only problem was the 'cozy double' we had initially booked. We had not understood from the website that this style of room has no window and that the shower is over a rather high-sided bath, which my husband (who has quite bad knee problems) found almost impossible to climb into. However, as noted above, we were able to upgrade (at just the equivalent of $5 per night extra) to a de luxe room which was excellent in all ways.
Staff were friendly, breakfast had a good selection, hotel was central in the old quarter. Value for money
Very friendly staff.
Room is kind of outdated. Pool on the roof too. There is almost no room to chill on the roof.
Great location, lovely staff, clean rooms and good breakfast
Not all rooms have an external window but think this is common for centre of Hanoi. That said, it wasn’t really an issue as didn’t spend much time in the room and it meant if was dark and quiet
Spa was average
