Pros….. Friendly staff, great service,. Quick and efficient. Cons…. Dirty windshield on the inside, was hard to see out the window at sunset. Something was sprayed on the windshield and not wiped off.Reviewed May 25 2023

I liked the customer service, but didnt like a fact that my rental cost is doubled due to various fees related to the car insurance. I had my credit card rental car insurance which i could not use due to some Hertz limitations.Reviewed May 25 2023

They claimed they did not have the size SUV we reserved available, yet there were a number of them sitting under "reserved" signs across the lot. They tried to give us a significantly smaller SUV saying that was all they had. In addition, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Three customer service people sat at their desks with no line at the lot while a line 20 people deep was upstairs. When I asked the "customer service" desk at the lot to add my Hertz gold info to my rental, they said I had to wait in line upstairs. This is not the first rude and unhelpful episode I've had at the Boston Hertz site. They made no effort to remedy the situation to find an SUV near the size of the Yukon we reserved. We left and had a great customer service experience at Dollar instead. This Hertz location consistently offers an appalling customer service experience.Reviewed May 24 2023

Trying to get help with our account was not optimal. The responses we got were" I didn't know how to do that " and "Did you try the web site or email address." If I can't get him free a real person,that tells me the internet is not going to be any better. I'm not that proficient with computers and prefer talking to people .Reviewed May 24 2023

Well....I will only book direct from now on. When I searched for cars at PHX, I saw a good deal and took it. Turns out it was off site and not at the airport then was told I could not get a refund. Your site needs to do a better job pointing out that it was not as searched. My Hertz experience was fabulous!!! Which is why I will book direct with them from now on.Reviewed May 24 2023

I went to pick up my prepaid reservation and was told they didn't have a vehicle for me. I was also informed they would not do a refund. I asked about my reservation/contract that was paid for, the manager stated that I could call Hertz corporate but he and I did not have a contract and it was not his problem. I tried to explain that when I made a reservation and paid for it that is a contract. He wanted nothing to do with me. I went to another rental company for a vehicle and am now fighting to get a refund. I will not use Kayak again if this is the company standards the represent.Reviewed May 24 2023
