Pros: The whole experience. The apartment was great. Extremely modern, spacious, and very clean. The kitchen had a hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine with a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate pods, kettle and toaster. A good selection of pans, cooking utensils and crockery. The loung had a comfy sofa and a good tv with a selection of channels in various languages. The bedroom had a very comfy king size bed and plenty of hanging space with hangers. The shower was a walk in, with plenty of room and lots of hot water. Good toiletries and towels. Sliding doors from the lounge led out onto a patio, overlooking the lake with a table and four chairs. There is plenty of space for parking your car. There is a nice walk round the lake and also a little bar, crazy golf, pedallos and further round a little petting zoo for the little ones. Britta, the hotel owner, is very friendly and has great local knowledge on where to visit. We really enjoyed our 3 nights and would not hesitate to come back.
Pros: Nice location, close to a lake, surrounded by big trees. Quiet and comfortable.
Pros: Everything! Zoo, watersports, recommended restaurants, staff, kitchen, beds, bathroom, view...
Cons: Everything was good!
Pros: Everything was super clean, the host was quite flexible concerning the time...because we arrived late at 22:00 p.m. She even told me that it would be not problem to arrive later because they live downstairs. We did not have breakfast there (we had our own things to eat because it is easier with children). The place was very comfortable and quiet. We did not pay extra for letting the car in front of the hotel. If you have a car, it is a perfect place to enjoy. Also the beautiful view of the lake and the Tierpark for the children.
Pros: Excellent facilities. Immaculate presentation. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous bathroom. Huge comfy bed and even the sofa bed was huge and a proper mattress on that too. Kitchen had everything you would need. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Continental breakfast beautifully fresh and brought to your apartment at a mutually arranged time. What a treat . Britta was friendly and spoke brilliant English, putting us to shame. Beautiful setting looking across the lake, could have stayed forever. Would not hesitate to book again for longer and investigate the area this time too.
Cons: That we only had one night there !
Cons: Pushing us to leave at 10 o’clock in the morning! Normally The earliest time hotels expect customers to leave is 12 !
Pros: Apartment was big enough for 4 people, kitchen is equipped with anything you might need for a short stay. Very clean, cozy and warm, the apartment zoning adds privacy and comfort. We especially liked the big bathroom with daylight and view form "bedroom" window. Location is perfect, just a short drive from Aachen, near the lake, in a quiet and beautiful autumn forest. The owner, Britta, was really friendly and helpful, she upgraded us to a bigger apartment and gave wonderful explanations about everything.
Cons: Nothing in particular, all was great. If I have to write something, maybe could be nice to have some teabags available in the apartment. There is a great selection of coffee and hot chocolate capsules, and one fruit tea sort, adding black and green tea would complete the collection :)
Pros: The owner was charming and spoke excellent English. She was clearly well-organised and highly conscientious in providing a high standard of accommodation for her guests. The fridge was packed with drinks if we required them (at an additional cost, of course). Britta provided us with fresh milk, free of charge which was kind. The rooms were spotless and there was plenty of storage if you wanted to have an extended stay. This was a very very quiet location and perfect for de-stressing after a long journey. There are good walks in the woods and round the lake immediately accessible from the property. For those with children, there is a free wildlife park about 10 minutes walk away.
Cons: The only drawback was the steep slope down to our accommodation which would have been difficult for anyone in a wheelchair, although the accommodation itself is mobility-friendly. The isolated position means you really need to drive to find good food (but at least you can self-cater here)
Pros: I hope we can come again and witness the location's beauty during a warmer season because of the surroundings. 1. Hotel Haus Broichtal's staff are really SUPERB and went out of their way to be helpful. 2. The apartments are very spacious, nicely equipped and boast an immense amount of storage: one could move in and stay permanently. 3. Gorgeous views, very peaceful and quiet. 4. The location is perfect to explore Aachen and surroundings (if you have a car). We even went to Maastricht in Holland and it only took around 40 minutes to drive there. 5. Very generous automatic hot beverage machine with free coffees, teas, hot chocolate pods. 6. Lots of free parking. 7. Wonderful large shower with plenty of water. 8. Heated towel holders. 9. Nice kitchen. It was more than a kitchenette. 10. Nicely heated in the winter. 11. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The points below in no way take away from a perfect score, which they deserve 100%, because the positives make up for these rather minor issues: 1. The light to the bathroom in our room was linked to bright lamps on top of the wardrobe in the bedroom. This, coupled with very loud glass sliding door to the toilet made it a bit inconvenient to use the facilities at night. 2. The entrance to the hotel and two of the apartments is at the bottom of the house, necessitating rolling/carrying suitcases down/up a bit of a hill. It was ok for us but maybe this could be an issue for some people. Best to inquire if you have a lot of heavy luggage that you are unable to move over 2 flights of stairs if someone could help or if your rooms are in the top part of the building that are flush with the street. 3. No proper straight-bladed knife, or good cutting board in the apartment we stayed at, but rest was excellent! 4. If only they had more than 4 apartments!
Pros: Amazing place to stay , very clean ,great location and a lot of space . love it
Located in Alsdorf, Hotel Siebenschläfer is within a 15-minute drive of CHIO Stadium and RWTH Aachen University. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was helpful. There is a lovely bakery next door which works as a great breakfast option. The interiors of the hotel has some beautiful paintings.
Cons: The ventilation in the room can be improved. There was only one large window which was behind the curtains. Also, there was no window view. It was just a closed space. Also, there was lots of space occupied by repair inventory in the property.
Pros: The hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious (my single would have been a double in other hotels). Decent sized flat screen TV, desk to work from, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and immaculately clean. I have stayed in many worse 4* hotels and not many better.
Pros: We travel to South Germany a few times a year..... and look for a place to stay on the way back to the UK as close to the Belgium border as possible so before setting off for the final push home ( plus lots of shopping in the giant supermarkets) thought we will try this place and it was great very very helpful and friendly and very clean and they had a great sense of houmour ( told them the room was great but cant see the Koelner Dom from the window) we would certainly recommend this place for a stopover
Cons: I guess the old English saying a cup of tea or coffee................. and a better view if staying more than one night otherwise there was nothing not to like
When you stay at HIB Hotel in Baesweiler in Baesweiler, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Golf Club Haus Kambach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice big suite while we expected a double room. Clean and quiet hotel. Breakfast was pretty OK, not extraordinary.
Cons: We were lucky with parking but the hotel parking-lot seems small
Pros: Modern facilities
Pros: Convenient room and tasty breakfast. Everything, that is necessary for a one-night stay during the long trip.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The Internet was only accessible one day.
Pros: Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly and most helpful. We will certainly stay again. Food and wine in the restaurant was perfect!
Pros: Big clean room, friendly staff, free coffee in the room. There was a fan in the room that provided a little help with the hot temperatures there. The hotel is located directly in the Center of the City.
Cons: But this location has ist disadvantages as well. Parking is difficult. The hotel has only about 5 own parking lots. Around it is free to park over the night but if you arrive in the late afternoon or evening it is difficult to find a parking lot in the area as there are many people in the restaurants etc
Pros: Very nice facilletes and good restaurant
Cons: NothingComfotable rio
Pros: Spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, Staff's dealing execellent
Cons: Non-availability of market nearby. But, still comfortable.
Pros: what's not too like it was all good

Pros: Our room was located 800m from the hotel. It was basically a full featured house, without a kitchen. Very quiet and comfortable. Great staff, welcoming and helpful. Nice breakfast. Very clean. We stayed there for three days and had a great time.
Cons: WiFi sometimes would fail...
Pros: have stayed previously food is wonderful German menu of excellent quality
Pros: The restaurant was great - really good food and a large menu card.
Cons: The hotel is situated in a domestic area, so do not expect a lot of shopping and/or night life..:o)) But fine for my purpose.
Pros: The hotel is located in the nice quiet area. It has a charming small garden with wonderful collection of fuchsias and other flowers. there is a free parking for guests. The restaurant is a popular place in the evening. The hostess is a very nice lady. In the rooms you get small complements like water and chocolate. Everything is clean.
Cons: In the room there is no air conditioner and no fridge or mini bar. The breakfast is rather usual. You can order the egg of your choice and you also have the selection of cheese, ham, bread, yoghurt. Mostly cold meal. Outside there was some music which sound like a concert far away, but the noise protection of the closed windows was not enough to sleep. Beds are rather hard, which is a matter of taste. No selection of pillows.
Pros: Great little hotel.
Cons: Decor a little dated but perfectly acceptable.
Pros: Has a large restaurant associated with the hotel, staff were pleasant, room was modest. Hearty food.

Pros: Conveniently placed hotel near motorway. Enquiry by phone staff very helpful. Breakfast was continental . Felt welcomed

Pros: Duplex room with single beds on top floor
Cons: Breakfast a little basic but ok. Self check-in via machine a little stressful.
Pros: Convenient and good value for money.
Pros: It was easy to find the hotel, the location is perfect for a one night stay after a long drive, there are some grocery stores around as well so it compensates that the eating there is a little bit overpriced. The room was tidy and clean overall. Big plus that the hotel has a lot of parking lots, because we arrived in the evening there were still place for us. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Cons: The food is a little bit overpriced (€2.00 for a 0.5L bottle water) and floor in the room wasn’t cleaned.

Cons: Room was small and bed was very narrow.

Pros: Prívate parking and good breakfast.
Cons: Everything was correct and according to what was expected.
Cons: I think 70€ /night for a room without Light, fridge and with a share bathroom its a little bit expensive....
Pros: Breakfast was good and so was the staff , but I couldn't sleep at night due to constant banging of door from other rooms on the floor and common washroon throughout the night. There should have been some soundproofing to avoid that situation.
Cons: I couldn't sleep and the facilities did not worth 40 Euros it was more like a hostel than hotel
Pros: Good price. Nice room. Clean shared bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast can be slightly improved. I did not like that eating inside the room was not allowed! That should be clear from the very beginning.
Pros: Everythimg , very clean , all that you need , nice and clean laundery and beds, very good food, very nice stuff , professional.
Pros: Convenient for a stopover during your journey; I got what I asked for: a simple lodging for one night; staff was friendly, good breakfast with homemade products; price-quality definitely in balance

Pros: Good localization, friendly owner who is looking after customers...
Pros: Very friendly family environment, safe, comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast :)

Cons: The location is on an industrial estate on the outskirts of town, which was actually quiet but not great views & a drive into the town itself.
Pros: The stuff was very friendly and helpful.
