Complimentary breakfast No airport shuttle
The shuttle service into NYC was easy to use and we enjoyed our trip. Difficult to drive in and out the shuttle didn't drop I you in front where it picked us up but still not far
The reason we booked our stay at this location was its proximity to NYC as we traveled to visit all the tourist-y locations. It was right off the Lincoln Tunnel and the area didn't seem too sketchy... We had arrived the day of the big Nor'Easter on March 14th I believe, and one half of their parking lot was closed (which had already been cleared of snow) and the half they didn't close was sloped downward toward the building and not cleared of snow. Had I not been experienced in driving in snow, the parking stalls would have been very difficult to back out of. Poor planning really. We were also given an out-of-service room. The mini fridge was not working, and we luckily were able to resort to putting the food out in our car in the cold winter weather. The person at the desk that I talked to that evening said that they couldn't do anything about it until the next day... This hotel is listed as having a shuttle service. It does not. The said shuttle service entailed flagging down a public transportation bus and paying $3 per seat, then getting dropped off 2 blocks away on the return trip...This was an expense that we hadn't really planned for, but really it was just annoying to learn that there was no hotel shuttle service.
It's close proximity to New York by public transport breakfast
Very good location. Breakfast.
How close we were to NYC, the shuttle van. Value for the money. Bed sheets were dirty.
It was a good location. And shuttle arriver every 10-15 min to NYC. Breakfast wasn't any good. Motel's room had a clogged sink.
Frequent buses to Manhattan just in front of the hotel, hotel equipement (iron, Wifi), price. The breakfast could be better. No buses from nyc to hotel after 12:40 am (even earlier on Sundays).
Really appreciated that Kayak lets you pay in advance for the room. I was buying it for my son. Good value, decent cont. breakfast, friendly staff, close to shopping & public transportation.
Location in to new york was fantastic, as we had a bus every 10 minutes. We stayed there for 12 days, after a week had to request bed sheets to be changed. Towels were at times stained with dirt marks.
Location was great, right off the expressway with a lot of close stores. Asked for a roll away bed, which I was told they offered for $15/ night when I booked. Was given a mattress to lay on the floor, at the full $15/ night. Housekeeping was poor, found quite a few items around the bed on the floor that were not ours.
very hard to find,it is right of the FreeWay,very noisy, bus service going to NY is poor, got to walk.Read the review for this Hotel, it was over rated
It was really nice, quiet and comfortable. They have everything near by. I would definitely recommend it.
Price was right and nothing to complain about. Easy access to NYC, so it's great as a sleeping and shower spot for much less than a Manhattan hotel. One easy path train to midtown Manhattan. Good for solo travelers who want to pay the least and still visit NYC. AC unit made sleeping wonderful. They had a kitchenette in case you felt like cooking. Also surrounded by great Indian restaurants. If all you want is a room to crash in after a big NYC day of touring, this is perfect. Great staff. 20mins by PATH to Manhattan. Bathroom was a little small, but really who cares about that? It was clean. Only 3-4 TV channels, but again, if you get home from NYC at midnight, who cares. Odds are you are going into Manhattan every day and only sleeping in NJ because it saves you hundreds per night. This place does that. Lower price means lower expectations, n'est ce pas?
Very inexpensive, clean, everything you need, not too much else. 5 minute walk to PATH train to NYC and the greater New Jersey area. Definitely the right kind of place for someone who wants a cheap & clean room for JC / NYC on a budget They have limited parking areas, you may want to call ahead to inform them you plan to park a car. Otherwise you might wind up using the local parking garage.
The cost was extremely reasonable. Free parking. Free breakfast. The room was old. The attempted remodeling was performed by someone who had no idea what they were doing. The mattress could be used as a torture device was hard and lumpy. Located in a less than desirable area. Lots of traffic and noise from that traffic.
The worst cleaning staff. When as to change the sheet and pillow cover, they got so mad and starting to talk loud/argument. Room was not up to the standard and linen were soiled and were not changed.
I have no complaints whatsoever and I liked the quality of the hotel. Also it was very clean and organized. I did not like the location. It was very difficult to do anything if we did not get into the highway. Also, they need to include more Breakfast. It was very poor with food.
Bed was comfortable Pretty dirty. Run down bathroom
The overall cleanliness was great it just did not feel very welcoming and the check in process is to crowded for such a small entrance. Did not really see much of the staff but the lady at breakfast was nice. Just in my opinion needs to be more of a welcoming environment. Definitely did not get that feeling
I was attending a seminar and it was very close to where it was being held. Hotel was extremely noisy at night due to being right on Rt. 3. Picture on website looked much nicer. Room was dated.
It was a cheap and close place to allow you to drive to the city. Free wifi. It was very run down.
The staff was amazing and welcoming Beds and shower slightly dirty
Staff at least. Everything. There was nothing to like about. I did early check out and booked another hotel rather than keep staying there that is how terrible it was. Comforters are like those were never washed after purchased. Horrible experience just horrible.
