Continental breakfast better than average. Very well maintained. Hot water (hot chocolate, tea) always available. Conveniently located for Petrified Forest. Room spacious. Convenient outlet for recharging. Mold in bathtub!
Pleasant, friendly staff, super comfortable bed and pillows!
Current upkeep fine, basic and decent. Tall weeds around outside parameters.
Great place to stay for the money. Staff was very helpful. Excellent value.
Nothing good to say -- would not go back to this property. Staff provided poor customer service; depending on the different individuals we encountered we were either told what the staff thought we wanted to hear with what turned out to be no intention of following through, or they simply acted aloof and disinterested. Besides issues with the staff, the rooms are old and look beat up and the free breakfast is minimal and poor quality.
Clean room, great staff. Good breakfast. Best restaurant in town (only good place in town) is the Mesa just a 5 min walk. Town is 30 min drive from Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National Park. Hard bed with low spot in middle. Holbrook is a pit of a town. Nothing but motels, gas stations, fast food and a few dive restaurants. Whole town looks like it's about to pack it in.
Breakfast. Clean. Staff.
I appreciated the staff's friendliness and willingness to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The front lobby was nice and clean and professional. The room was spacious and the bed was relatively comfortable. For the most part, the room was clean. The breakfast in the morning was all inclusive and had a good amount of choices. I noticed something that looked like mold near the ceiling by the sink area/bathroom. Everything else was clean. There wasn't really anything else that I was unhappy with.
The room was great, it was clean , the bathroom while small was impeccable. The staff was as friendly as I've ever seen. We didn't stay long enough to get in the pool
Wonderful furnishings, fantastic breakfast.
Not fancy, a 50s throwback that is well managed with great service. Convenient to the National Park. Nothing not to like.
I really liked that it was a very clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The staff was very friendly as well. N/A
The pool and hot tub were great!! Front desk girl refused at first to offer us a 1st level room because she said they were "reserved " for people with pets. She finally gave us 1 but I felt like I had to beg for it. We found out later most of the families on the 1st floor did not have pets??
Front desk staff friendly Price included voucher for a breakfast from a menu selection of about 7 items at restaurant next door...nothing spectacular, but a hot, real breakfast. In general (with a few short drop-outs amounting to at most about 5 minutes at a time) Internet was amazing when it worked - Tested at 24mbps Heater (on AC unit) didn't work Bed was terrible - bouncy, noisy, loud Pillows were flat and insufficient Bedding was dirty (sheets) Floor was dirty - needed to be swept and mopped Black "droppings" on the floor beside refrigerator No accessible electrical outlets...AT ALL Tub had crumbles of drywall/gravel/rock (?) materials in it Spiders mating on ceiling near shower/tub Bathroom light could not be turned on without fan coming on, when the fan came on it sounded like an airplane with mangled steel engines was landing Paper thin walls, I could understand every word of the TV program in the rooms beside me, at a moderate volume. Paper thin ceiling...I could hear every time the upstairs room guests walked around...and especially every time (all day and night?) their child ran back and forth across the floor...over and over again Almost impossible to get into bathroom: You had to open the door, step around the door, close the door, then move to toilet/tub FWW, the sink was located outside the bathroom, so some might like that Curtains did not adequately cover the window, were falling/had fallen off the curtain rod on both sides of the window Bolt lock on door didn't work I have pretty low standards for a hotel/motel room. This one was not even close, even for my low standards.
Good prices, good location, friendly staff. Instructions to operate appliances were incomplete. Refridgerator had been shut off with door closed and smelled. Fan in bathroom inoperative. Notified front desk.
It was close to where our meeting was. The room was so dirty we kept our shoes on. They didn't clean the room after the first night. They gave us a vacuum so we could tidy up ourselves.
About the only thing I liked about this hotel was the cheap price. The air conditioner was loud, which actually turned out to be somewhat good as there was a distressing disturbance close by our door requiring police intervention at 2am. A lesson: you get what you pay for.
It was passable given that we were only staying for one night. The room we stayed in was "tired" and needs a re-do.
location the hotel is old and ugly, our room was not clean as it supposed to be, the tiolett was broken but they came quickly to fix it
The breakfast in a nearby place was good. The room had everything that we needed for one night stay, fridge, microwave and clean comfy beds. The the bathroom and carpets were run down and the whole appearance of the motel was a bit shabby.
breakfast was a disappointment just a voucher for 1.25 off from place next door not a full meal.
The bed was comfy, something I always look for, but the pillows were way too big and hard, made it so I couldn't get comfortable, and all the pillows were the same. I didn't see the breakfast, but my mom said it wasn't that good. All in all not a bad place if you bring your pillow, and just need to sleep.
The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful, the room was reasonably clean, and everything worked well. It's a fine place for a night on the road. The indoor pool didn't open until 2 p.m. -- so much for a morning swim. Breakfast was sub par (to be expected, but still). And the price was ten dollars more than other hotels along this strip, and it's not clear why.
I stayed for a night with my fiancé free driving 12 hours, and it was comfy. plus, an awesome hot tub and swimming pool. it was really cold in the hotel room even after the ax was turned off. and the complimentary breakfast was terrible.
Staff was very welcoming and friendly, and informative. Rates are good ifot ust passing through. There was a tear in the linoleum in the bathroom and an animal "dropping" (perhaps rodent) was left overnight. As a result, not a pleasant experience.
Room was basic, but clean and nice. Staff was great!
clean. cheap. tv worked. updated. next door to a denny's. i was just passing through. just what i needed from a motel 6. heater was a bit wonky, hard to keep the room a comfortable temp
Wifi was jacked up, not a pleasant stay. Wifi messed up, room appearance.
Friendly staff. Loved the free breakfast. nothing
The hotel staff was always willing to help out. Everything went great staying here.
The attendant at the breakfast he was very considerate and knowledgeable and I could not believe how clean it was everything was prepared the coffee was ready it was the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. That Phoenix weather is not like Holbrooks weather.
i was road trip. there is a good place, best price and near the grand canyon and good service. nothing.
It was located easy on/off freeway. Beautiful room andcstaff was amazing. No. very nice for sure
Clearness,quiet place.. No.
It was quiet at night The staff was not bad, but not very friendly. The room smelled bad and the mattresses were very uncomfortable
Would have liked a king bed or a double queen or double double. The one bed was a good quality bed.
Friendly, helpful staff. Too few washer and dryers.
Price. Smelled of smoking. Breakfast was minimal. door cards didn't work at any outside doors.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
It was quiet We got moved because the room was filthy, floor not vacuumed, beds not made, towels looked dirty, no television. The clerk told us we can leave if we want but there was a huge Native American Women's Conference in Chinle Az and no vacancies.
Price and staff was friendly and helpful. The was daylight and a draft through the foo. The curtains were. Token. Black mold on the walls. Was black/grey slime in the toilet. Stains on the walls and on ceiling.
