Amazing free family room upgrade. 3 large windows, very cozy , beautiful & private bathroom. Quiet and serene. Near to restaurants.
Does not have a kitchen/pantry, no common area, no complementary hot chocolate if you do not drink tea.
It is an ok stay if you are in the area, but I would try to look for something else in the future.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom in room 1 is broken, and I am guessing for a long time, because it has a very bad smell of the drainage whenever we enter the bathroom. The soap dispenser is also broken. Also the bed is too soft, had a sore back for both of us after waking up.
It was in a good location, was super clean, warm and comfortable
It was relatively cheap for Iceland, and the check in was super easy. The location is great, several restaurants and a supermarket were just down the street. The bed was comfy. :) Also, the little fridge and kettle were really handy.
Although it was nice for a short stay, we had a lot of nitpicky things - a lot of people won't mind most of it! We didn't like that there was no room apart from the bed to sit together since there was only one chair, making the table hard to use. We had a room facing the street, and it was quite noisy when people arrived at the house. In addition, the heating, while great at doing its job, was rather loud, producing weird noises.
Super comfy beds! Beautiful clean and spacious rooms. Such great value for money. The location is great too - walking distance from a few delicious restaurants and a supermarket as well.
