The Hotel was reasonably close to the Glimmerglass Festival. The condition of the room was pretty poor. The room smelled absoluitely awful; we bought an air freshener to try reduce the odor. The shower doors were impossible to move without coming off the track. The cold water line wasn't connected to the sink.
Location The bullet hole in the window was different. It needs updates.
Nothing Most disgusting room I have ever been in. The bathrooms were filthy with hair in the shower and on floors, no soap or cups, room was not vacuumed with garbage under the bed. I don't believe the sheets were changed. There was no continental breakfast.
The heat worked and was controlled from the room. The cheapest possible option. Room wasn't clean. No food or coffee in the morning. Lots of ways for bugs to get into the room.
My students loved it, and myself as well. Breakfast was good, and rooms were excellent and luxurious under affordable prices.
An older property, but well maintained with a very polite, helpful staff. Small room, but adequate for a short stay and the bed was very comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, make sure your is away from the train tracks.
The deluxe rooms are huge! The staff was always smiling and friendly even when not engaged with a guest. The hotel was nicely updated and very clean. The breakfast selection could have been better.
Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Checked in to this place around 6pm. As we walked up the stairs to our second floor room I noticed a smoke smell. As we walked down the hallway i recognized the smell as marijuana. The place is very old and run down. In dire need of a facelift. After entering the room and seeing stains on the furniture and floor we turned around and left to get some dinner. While out I stopped across the street at a Red Roof Inn and found a room. We went back to Scottish and got our stuff and left. Very shabby.
