Pros: The location was perfect such a beautiful place to relax after a day tubing down the river.the porch was a welcoming place to relax in the shade and the breakfast was amazing !!
Pros: Breakfast was terrific. Bill was an excellent and accommodating host. I loved the property and have many ties to the area from skiing and mountain running. I enjoyed meeting another Mt. Washington running crazie also staying at the Inn.
Cons: My grandson would have liked some bacon with his breakfast.....he is however a rather picky eater! :)
Pros: Less than two hours from Portland but it felt like a world away! Working in the den by the crackle of the fireplace took away the stress of having to write while on vacation. I cannot wait to get back to Mount Surprise and have a Sunrise with Paula's amazing cooking. I loved the picture Bill sent to us after our stay, it was a very thoughtful touch. I highly recommend The Buttonwood Inn and only regret leaving early and missing breakfast our last morning.
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming and we had a lovely stay at the Buttonwood. Every evening there was a small baked treat waiting for us when we got back and we especially loved the very tasty breakfast in the mornings :)
Pros: breakfast not available until 8:30 - I was not willing to hang around and wait for breakfast on either morning. There was not anything about the stay that I appreciated except that the property was clean.
Cons: out dated decor, uncomfortable out dated bathroom down the hall, not attached to our room, tiny shower stall outfitted with 2 shower curtains - ruffled. Windows draped in nonsense, tea served at 5:30 - thats dinner time - plus the cookies were cold and not fully cooked - notes about what to do and not do posted everywhere, upstairs covered in old dirty carpet. Inn keepers don't seem to like their work anymore.
Pros: Our breakfast was delish as always! We look the after noon snacks around the fireplace. Bedroom was very nice and comfortable. We plan on going back next month it’s a great Inn to go just to relax very friendly . Paula and Bill are very personable
Pros: Bill and Paula are exceptional innkeepers! Funny and accommodating. The grounds are also lovely and the food was delicious
Pros: Very pleased with the location and the peacefulness. Plenty of very good reading materials about the local area and the state. Bill explained the breakfast dishes made by Paula. The potato cakes were so tasty. The evening cookies and blueberry granola bars were a great evening snack! Bill and Paula are great hosts
Cons: The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but with that said, we still got a very restful sleep
Pros: The reviews are true. Paula and Bill have created a warm and comforting home that is handcrafted to help you relax and just smile. Their kindness is authentic and effusive, and they clearly put real passion into everything they do. They love their home and they want you to love it as well. Paula's cooking will make you feel both like a VIP and like you're part of the family. She is flexible and accommodating, but never sacrifices on quality. Bill is your friendly neighborhood tour guide, who takes genuine interest in you and is full of suggestions. Stay here if you are looking for a place where you will want for nothing, where your family will be welcome with open arms no matter the size, and if you like a spot of afternoon tea. Two days was not enough at this gorgeous place, and we'll undoubtedly be back over and over.

Pros: Additional sofa bed is a plus. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Pros: Location was awesome and the stuff was really helpful. I will definitely go back again
Pros: Breakfast food was pretty good.
Cons: Our room was very small and nondescript. Almost no cell phone service at the chalets. Breakfast room was very crowded and cramped.
Pros: Very clean, pool was clean. Close to everything we wanted to do!
Pros: Very charming older property. Beautiful grounds with many flowers. We had a ground floor room with two beds & a full kitchen. Parking was right in front of our room which was great as we had two little grandkids & all their stuff to unload. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Five minutes to Storyland.
Pros: Don’t recommend
Cons: The office messed up and deleted my credit card on file and decided to call me non stop at 7:30 am while I was trying to sleep. Rude and unexceptional. Will never book here again. Room smelled funny too and carpet was disgusting to walk on with bare feet
Pros: The room was very large. Perfect for a family.
Cons: The rooms are relatively old and smell a bit. The location is outside the city. Breakfast is ok.
Pros: The accommodation, staff and amenities were terrific. the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast, pool and location were wonderful. A must see place to see for families traveling with children.
Pros: The pool is nice. Good breakfast.
Cons: A little outdated.
Pros: The location is great. Property is very clean. Front desk staff is very nice.
Cons: The room was very small. I would have chosen a bigger room. Also had a strange odor.
Cons: Perfectly located near everything. Great pool.
Cons: Yes, I know check in is at 3:00 pm but most hotels will let you check in if room is available this place will not. They won't even put someone in the office until 2:59 pm
With a stay at Perry's Motel and Cottages in Intervale, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Cranmore Mountain Resort and Story Land. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Way to small, no room to move in cottages
Pros: The owner is very friendly and willing to do whatever possible to help make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. The grounds are amazing and very well kept. Great family atmosphere
Cons: Nothing much that I can think of!
Pros: Kid friendly. We brought our grandson to visit Storyland and Perry's has a pool and two playgrounds which kept him from being bored during down time.
Cons: Toilet very slow to flush. It took up to three times to make sure everything was gone.
Pros: It look like it was a family run business. And the older man cleaning the rooms couldn’t speak much English but was very nice.
Pros: A great place for kids to play and swim
Pros: Great facilities for kids and lovely location with restaurants near by. They had a pool but we didn’t use it. Friendly woman on arrival, can’t really fault it. 2 double beds in room which were comfortable
Pros: The pool was clean and it was a quiet location .
Cons: Room was tiny, beds were not comfy, shower only got warm at best. Air conditioner blew warm , the best part is add said the rooms were equipped with fridge and microwave. There was not a microwave in the room but a community one outside on a table next to a pepsi vending machine. So good luck heating anything if it rains!. I also got charged 5 extra dollars because they couldn't swipe my card and had to type it in manually.
Pros: Location and kids toys
Cons: Room had a strong, musty odor.
Pros: The owner!!!
Pros: Friendly staff and nice location.
Cons: We rented a 1 bed cottage and there was very poor water pressure to the point the shower head lever would barely stay up for the shower to function, the toilet barely flushes after multiple attempts, bathroom faucet knobs turn incorrectly along with hardly enough water to clean your toothbrush, tons of ants inside the room (our food and belongings were crawling with ants the first morning we woke up) the Dawn dish soap bottle for kitchen sink was partially filled with water to save a couple pennies?! And last but not least, this is the first room we’ve ever rented with out the tv in the bedroom.
Pros: Nestled amongst the trees in a woodsy area off the busy main road, my charming little cabin was clean and just what I needed for a one night leaf-peeping stayover.
Cons: Cabin was a little small but it was nice.
Pros: Great for families- so convenient
When you stay at this condo resort in Intervale, you'll be in a national park, within a 10-minute drive of Cranmore Mountain Resort and Story Land. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good alternative to a hotel stay. Although the place was old, it was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub were very nice.
Cons: We didn't have hot water the first night.
Pros: On the positive: pool and hot tub we’re clean and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed them. Staff was pleasant. Cleanliness could have been better, there was dust and dirt visible in a few spots. The master tub had a poorly done patch and upon taking a bath, the tub leaked into the living room with pieces of ceiling falling off onto the ground. The ceiling had clearly been painted over but leakage was visible. The bathroom sink would turn on on it’s own, spraying hot water vigorously. We were disappointed that the full bed advertised was actually a futon. The listing should say futon, not bed
Cons: See above
Pros: The property was clean, larger than I thought it would be. The one downfall was the loft was hot.
Cons: The loft did not have AC.
Pros: Everything is excellent
Cons: Kitchen pot and WiFi need to improve
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: More on site house keeping
Pros: The location was very convenient, close to everything
Cons: Exterior was all done over and looks very nice. Parking was an issue, the people in my building just parked where ever they wanted blocking the walkway. The master bath shower had no hot water and a hole in the bathroom door. Only enough hot water for maybe 2 persons. The furniture was very out dated. Futon and chair in the loft were filthy.
Pros: Place was Very clean
Cons: Mattresses were ok
Pros: We love the location - the size of the townhouse since I traveled with 4 children and they had enough space to spread out. The kids love the pool and the pool table in the arcade
Cons: The staff is amazing but one person who worked in the office was very rude especially to my children. She worked Saturday night 8/18. Everyone else that works there is wonderful but this woman was highly unpleasant and would hope she doesn't ruin anyone else's experience. We will of course stay at Cathedral Ledge again as this was the only issue we ran into.
Pros: The location was close to Storyland and the fireworks in North Conway which was great! When we arrived there was a hornet nest on one of the balconys, so we called the office. Within minutes there was someone at our door to take care of it! Great tentative place!
Cons: We wish there was more information on getting sheets and pillows for the futon and pull out couch. We didn't realize we had to go to the office for it!
Pros: only the location!
Cons: I’m a traveler and honestly I’ve never spend in a hote like this. The hotel has a great location but the staff were so rude. It was expensive and we had a full list of rules to do before leaving... we lost our last day cleaning everything! I’m so disappointed, because I live North Conway! I don’t recomend this hotel for any of my friends.
