To whom it may concern, I was dissapointed in my stay for the cost I payed for almost $200.00 a night I would have expected the follow which was not the case: -Clean and orginized hall ways (maintainance trolly blocking path) -Clean room with a order free bath room (bath room smell was horrible) -No one else assigned to my room which at about 02:30 in the morning I had another person enter my room while I was asleep and stated they were assigned the same room! Can you imagine the embarssesment and alarm to wake up to a stranger entering a room where you are half naked and asleep. I called the desk to complain and all i got was I'm sorry! (Really!) VERY POOR EXPERIENCE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND........
Limited staff, rooms have a extremely strong odor especially on the first floor. Hard to breathe inside these rooms, I was very frustrated and disappointed overall.
close to the airport, good price. breakfast was decent. better than most places that offer free breakfast.
i've been itching non-stop since i checked out. bites all over my body - head to toe. i just hope i didn't bring any home with me. the shuttle only runs once an hour.
We had an overnight layover and an early morning flight, so the proximity to JFK and the convenient shuttle service were major considerations. The room was clean with comfortable beds, and the staff were very good, although we were unable to get a receipt because the system was running something when we checked out. The shuttle was speedy and prompt with courteous drivers.
While the location is convenient to JFK (or maybe because it is), the neighborhood was such that I would not have felt comfortable going outside the hotel alone. It was also right next to the Queens Sanitation Department--that did not impact our stay, but gives you a picture. The hotel could definitely use some updating.
The nights were somewhat quiet.
The rooms were to small, the Wifi wasn't working, and slow when it did.
Close to the airport
Dirtiest Best Western I have ever stayed at. Staff was rude, rooms smelled dirty (city dump next door), dehumidifiers in hallways to help with musty smell. Floors, towels, bedding, and pillows all need replaced due to stains or holes. Felt like a Motel 6, really disappointed...
I guess that they were kind enough to give me a bed.
I waited 1.5 hours for their airport shuttle and they argued with me about how that was my fault. Their driver was rude. Their front desk personnel was rude. Everyone had an attitude and Custer service was obsolete. I wouldn not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope their manager sees this.
Location, loved the airport shittle, comfortable bed, decent size bathroom for nyc
Breakfast was subpar
close to JFK
high price level for this low quality
it only took 2 hours to find another room at a close by hotel
pretty much everything else
Treadmill did not work.
Everything was fine the people were very nice
The hotel was close to the airport and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel was in a bad neighborhood. I was given a "first floor" room, which turned out to be a basement room. The room was very small and cramped, and smelled damp and moldy. There were dehumidifiers running in the hallway, but the dampness and mold smell was still very prevalent. I stayed here out of desperation, because everything else near JFK was sold out. I would NEVER EVER stay here again and would specifically tell other not to stay here either. On top of all of that the cost of the room was exorbitant and Best Western should be ashamed of themselves that they are taking advantage of desperate people in such a way.
No I didn't like it because when I get there they say I made my reservation wrong . So I told them can I still get another room they say I still got pay for it again . So they didn't event help me with anything that I need as a customer ..
Because they wanted me to pay for the room two time event thought reservation was mad ... So I was not happy with the Servise they give me
The staff was very nice and helpful :)
Small elevator, but although in a nice condition.
