We've stayed in many many hotels all over the world and this was one of our favorite stays! From the personalized service from Tracy, to the excellently maintained rooms and courtyard, we can't fault this great little hotel. Rooms are small for a typical hotel but are more than compensated for due to a great layout, and all the amenities you could need. This was the first hotel EVER that we have stayed in that had two luggage racks in the room. I cannot find fault with the Iron Horse Inn and will stay here again on our next visit to the Cottonwood/Sedona area.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Shower head. Glass stained bath door. The extremely comfortable bed and softness of bedding. Starbucks was a nice extra touch. Wood flooring... the courtyard was quaint, unique we loved the stay.. Shelving over microwave.
Newly remodeled, but kept the quaint "old town" appeal. Loved the location and the shared courtyard. The coffee was the best we had on our whole trip! We loved the small cozy room but some might prefer more space.
The rooms were good. The breakfast changed daily during our stay (a definite plus). Staff was friendly and helpful. The location worked well for our sightseeing goals. Rooms could use updating. Pillows and mattress could use replacement.
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff!! Good size room and very clean. Grounds and pool area were clean and well maintained. The hot tub only had 2 jets working. My brother in law had to push the door open with his shoulder because it was not set properly but maintenance fixed it. Poor water pressure at the sink.
Room was only adequate. Room booklet states they only change sheets every third day for people staying over and the same with towels. I feel that is unacceptable. Housekeeping did change sheets and towels more often than that. Also they put a $20 per night "hold" on our credit card for "incidentals" until we left because we booked thru you rather than directly with them. I didn't appreciate the fact we were unaware of that before booking. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
Cleanliness and great staff.
closeness to where our friend lives for visiting. driveway and parking lot were being torn up for repaving. No elevator for second floor.
Room was clean, tv was big. I paid for the room online the day of my stay, when I got to the hotel there were signs everywhere saying if there would be a $50 charge if you brought pets into the room. I was traveling with my cat and didn't see anything about their pet policy on the website I used to pay for the room. They wouldn't give me a refund due to their refund policy so I figured I either lose 50 bucks or 75, and I brought my cat in. The woman at the hotel deactivated my card key and wouldn't let me back in the room I paid for until I signed an additional receipt for the pet charge, then she let me back in the room but said I needed to leave immediately, even though it was hours before my checkout and nothing about their pet policy indicates you have to leave. I hadn't even showered yet, but the lady came by every few minutes to beat on the door and I left very unhappy. Terrible customer service. Not worth the $125 I ended up having to pay.
Bed comfortable Noise from upstairs and breakfast was poor. Breakfast lady was super friendly.
Reasonable price, honored quotation. Good general location. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
The room was very clean and the stay was good. I rate in excellent in the category it's in---an economical motel that is clean and had a friendly staff and in a good location.

The staff was friendly and attentive. All was good. No issues - clean, convenient, comfortable.
Clean, friendly, responsive staff. Dog friendly! Even though this time I didn't have a dog. Good location. Good price. Just that there were noisy people (with children) overhead. Would have preferred that they had been on ground floor and we were on the floor above.
Double Queen Suite: very comfortable beds; clean room; soft & fresh linens; suite was somewhat smaller than pictured but adequate for what little time was spent in the room. Could use an electrical outlet closer to table for computer use. Parking is a little tight for larger pickup parking. Swimming pool is very small. Kitchen had adequate supplies..silverware; cups; plates, cooking pots/pans, etc. and were clean. Overall decent accommodations and would stay there again.
allowed early check-in. coffee pot, microwave in room smallish room...charged extra for additional coffee packets.
Breakfast was sub par with expectations Lady at the front desk complianed about how hard her job is while i was checking in, i felt every spring in the bed, hot tub was closed (for cleaning, hopefully), housekeeping looked/acted as if they had just been released from jail
Close to hospital, quiet and clean Rooms are a little dated
Location The room was disgusting. It smelled like someone peed in the a/c. The water smelled like sulfur. 2 1/2 stars??? 1 star at most! This was on my top 10 worst hotel experiences.
The view Far from the front

Close to hospital Noticed blood on the floor of the bathroom
Bed was extremely hard. A pillow top would have helped.
Clean room, friendly staff, and close to Hospital Not really rooms are a little dated but clean.
The room smelled awful. Property was run down and outdated. The hot tub was surrounded in caution cones and non-functioning. Lobby was 500 yards from rooms. Asked for blanket and had to walk in the dark to get it. Many more issues, no room to explain. :(
Hotel lobby and breakfast in a separate building from the rooms. An odd arrangement.
Good sized mini-fridge Across the street from food NOT a hotel; a motel like Super 8 or Motel 6 with doors on the outside Office 150+ yards away from the actual rooms Restaurant was closed No water pressure Bed was uncomfortable Listed TV channels weren't paid for
Large room, bathtub Needs more electric outlets.
