I liked that it wasn't too far from the interstate. The housekeeping wasn't professional. They would pound on the doors and yell out while they were knocking. The pillows on beds were flat and not comfortable. Elevator smells like cigarette smoke.
We thought it odd that the beds were covered in a white don't-ish comforters . However, I'm going to assume the goal was to show a clean room. There was some caked on schmuttz on the curtain over the main window. Otherwise, everything was really ok.
Friendly staff Dirty carpet snd upholstery
Atmosphere was great, love the entry and room was clean Had to reset room key next day on multi day stay
Great hotel. Very clean and accessible from I -85. Staff very friendly The breakfast bar needs more variety of items.
Family Oriented Not enough staff on during evening hours in case of emergencies
Friendly and courtesy staff Buffet foods could be better
There was a lot of family activities to keep us all entertained. My 10 year old and 6 year old had a great time. Unlimited Magiquest play was a big hit.
Water park was great, perfect family get away.
Location, cleanliness, helpfulness, all needs met! Loved our breakfast!Everything was spot on! Good job! My sister didn't care what our view was going to be, I should have said Golf View! But the speedway was fun too!
low water pressure on 9th floor
There a couple conferences going on at once, yet the staff and service accommodated us. The bar scene was great & active the staff was very, very good. Even though they were quite busy, they took the time to engage with the guests to make them feel at home. That I had to leave!
Room size was more than adequate !!! Breakfast in the morning along with 2 adult drinks in the evening was a great touch. Great parking lot size and well lit. Staff was on top of every request, thanks for a fantastic stay ;) 9.95 for internet could have been included...
Food was delicious and rooms were spacious and clean!
Continental breakfast and dinner
My room smelled like dog and I have a low tolerance for pet dander. I will not book a room again w/o asking if dogs stayed in the room Staff was rude
The service was great and polite. The room was very nice and spacious! They have a cookie stand on the way to the elevators with good cookies as well, so we always had to grab a couple lol. The bed was too firm for me, causing back pain. But that depends on the person... My hubby loved the bed, but he likes firm beds lol
we checked and found small blood stains on the blanket. Because it was late we just took it off. The next morning we left at 8:00 am. when we returned at 7:00 pm we were surprised thst housekeeping never came. My husband went to the front desk to tell them. They said everyone was gone and there was nothing they could do. He asked if we could have a few clean towels but they said they didactic have any to give us. We. had to pick wet ones off the floor to shower. When we were making the bed we found several black hairs in the bed. we were scheduled to stay five nights but checked after two nights. When we told management they just said huh that's unusual.
It was very convenient to the highway and the price was right. I was more than irritated to have purchased a non-smoking, queen room only to arrive at check-in to discover I was given a smoking, double room. The front desk clerk's apathetic response of "well, you booked it third party and we're full" did not help any.
The room I was issued (208) was decorated with old furniture that needed to be replaced. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom were missing and the plumbing was exposed. This caused loud vibrating noises and dripping water sounds ALL night. It was a night of poor rest. The staff was friendly an appropriate but I was not compensated in ANY fashion for my inconvenience. I would NOT stay at this particular location again and I'm a huge fan of the Hampton Inn chain.
Kids running n screaming down halls no quiet time at all... Found hairs all through the bathroom n tub
Location was perfect. Staff was most friendly.
The place was real nice it even had adjustable beds which was different from any other room I have stayed at. The location was real convenient it was right across from concord mills mall which has great shopping. The staff was very friendly also will definitely go back. The only thing I didn't like was breakfast was not included not even continental they offered that and a breakfast buffet for an additional cost. The food was good though.
Located very close to everything. Room was small, and the air didn't work. The pool was very small
My only complaint was that the wi-fi had a poor signal. I had to use my own person hot-spot while I worked. Everything else was good.
Fantastic! The staff were amazing - brought a hair dryer to our room. There was even a fire pit out back. Nothing!
Terrible, we got to the hotel and was being asked to pay a deposit that we could not afford and that we were not told about at all when we purchased the room through expedia. No refund was issued we lost $70.00 for a room we didnt even get to see. Atleast if we could not pay for the dep our money could have been issued back to us but the hotel got our money with or without our stay. Super unfair
My friends and I were most impressed with the staff at the hotel. They were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling. The two rooms that we had were comfortable, well-stocked, and cleaned well. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety including eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, pastries, etc. There was no need to go to a restaraunt. I made the online reservation via Kayak, and my friends -- who travel frequently and often stay at five-star hotels -- wanted to make sure that I fill out this survey when it arrived in my email inbox so that I could give a rave review.
Bathroom door would not lock in room 503.there was dust about 1/2 inch thick on the exhaust fan in bathroom and goldfish crackers on the counter when we entered. we always stay here yearly but cleanliness is a factor may have to reconsider next year
The staff was very friendly and the overall appearance and cleanliness of the room was great!
We love the location and the room layouts. The morning breakfast is very good. The furniture in the rooms needs updated along with new carpet. The Embassy Suites next door had the lead act for the Speedway staying there and they had three (3) coaches at the rear of their building but close to the Residence Inn. The coaches ran their engines all night and were extremely loud. Saturday night the crew and guest of the band played and partied most of the night and were loud. Management from the Residence Inn should contact the Embassy Suites and suggest that their guests should take into the consideration where coaches are parked and how guests should act after hours.
Great place. The room was like a small apartment with living room and full kitchen. Guests eating breakfast in their PJ's.
breakfast and coffee were decent room was clean staff friendly and accomodating
Very clean and spacious rooms. Very luxurious for a great price. A very professional staff.
The room was clean with a nice setup. The hot water in the shower could have been hotter.
Close to everything Old, "heated pool" was freezing and staff stated wasn't going to fix it
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast is a nice thing. Heated indoor pool was not quite heated enough.
The beds were very good, but the first night, a canlight directly over my head with a fluorescent bulb in it, flashed intermittently directly in my face. This was interspersed with the flue pan in the bathroom exhaust fan, which helped keep my brother-in-law and I awake nearly all night, The can light was a short time from catching fire, I can tell you as a master electrician. The good news-for the sake of that feckless motel- is that when I gave them the punch list the next morning, they repaired BOTH of the ceiling can lights, and we simply left the exhaust fan on, and all but closed the pocket door on the little bathroom, and managed to get some sleep the second night. The room was decently clean, but the rest of the facility was filled with stained (filthy?) carpeting, and showed many signs of its advanced age. For $300+ it was a DISAPPOINTMENT-to say the least, and, contrary to the supplied map showing to be adjacent to the Speedway, it was fully 15 minutes away from our friends in the Sleep Inn at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The hotel was fairly quiet, even though it was full the first night we stayed there. The staff could do a better job of cleaning. One area on the 2nd floor smelled of garbage the whole time we were there. Also, our bathroom had a bit of mildew in the shower.
Hotel was very nice and very clean. Really enjoyed our stay.
Really pleased with the hotel overall....was not expecting it to be so comfortable and clean since the price was such a bargain!! I plan to stay there again the next time I'm in Concord!! The lady at the desk was so friendly and helpful!! I would rate this hotel "great"!
Hospitality was poor. Air conditioning worked, but very damp in the room. Ok stay, but will look elsewhere for a similar price on my next trip.
Location was great, some carpet could use replacement, the room had numerous lights out. Rooms were clean and service was good. Breakfast was OK. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
Room was great.
Room was clean and furnished as expected. We checked in at 4 p.m. and our original room wasn't clean yet. The staff gave us a suite instead. The folks on the other side of the room were fairly loud and the thin walls didn't help at all. We could hear every cough, sneeze, and closer door slam...at 6 a.m.!!! We had to take a nap as soon as we got home to make up for the lack of sleep at the hotel. Definitely not worth the $119.
