Right next to the gondola, so would be great for ski season. However in the summer, the proximity to the mountains and trails are great. I stayed here for a conference at the Keystone Conf Center and it was literally 5 min down the road. The beautiful views nearby don't hurt either. :)
Silver Mill Condos--Right in the village. VERY short walk to Gondola and ski school. We just stayed one night to get the most of a short trip (Sat/Sun). Didn't get to try out the Sauna or HotTubs. Small Condo but perfect for Mom +2 kids. 2 pull out couches (but you'd really have to rearrange the funiture to pull out both). Full Kitchen. Memory foam mattress more comfortable than home. Some noise from Bars in the village but not bad. Convenient heated basement parking. Fresh cookies at checkin were a surprise.
Glad this was the first place we went on our first ski trip. Everything is contained in the village --- meals, food, ski rental, lifts. All walking distance from our unit. Will go back
Lovely condo with excellent accomodations. Charming and right at the foot of the mountain. My family loved it.
My husband and I stayed at this location as it was right by the lift and offered number of restaurants within walking distance. Location was perfect, very friendly staff, free bus shuttle if need. The problem that we had was with the room. With I believe a this time a $* per night rate my expectations were to stay in a nice, comfortable place. As we walked in, carpet was dirty, kitchen appliances are from the 80's, fire place did not work, furniture was pretty old and I was grossed out to sit on it. The heater in the bedroom made all sorts of loud noises all night which made it extremely impossible to sleep. Bed was barely a full or a queen size. The matress was so uncomfortable that once my husband got off the bed I pretty much could slide down off the side. Again, the location is excellent but they have to update/ re-design and fix the issues. We won't be staying there again.
We LOVED the condo we were in... BEAUTIFUL! The views from our balcony were wonderful, it was super roomy and well decorated (we had a 2 bed/2 bath), and the 'village' was very nice. We will definitely stay there again - especially when we have more time to go and ski! :) We also enjoyed the hot tub... so peaceful.
There were three of us who enjoyed our stay at Jack Pine at Keystone, arranged through the travel agency. We had a two bedroom, two bath unit with a kitchen and a living room/sitting room as well as a nice deck/balcony. It was clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and we enjoyed our stay.
The room was great, parking was underground, checkout easy. Walking distance to food, slopes, driving distance to Dillion. Dillion has movie theater, sports store, super market, dining. Other driving distance things are small towns. Could take bus....
Our 1 bedroom condo exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, well appointed, and well stocked with extras like humidifiers, as well as kitchen supplies. We were very pleased with how updated and modern the resort was, as well as our building and unit. We really loved the free underground parking, too. We have agreed to return for sure. The only bad thing we experienced was someone snoring every night in a room in our vacinity. Thank goodness I had earplugs - he was that loud. Noise would not have been a factor otherwise.
What a great place to get away from the heat. The condo's are beautiful and the views are awesome. With underground parking (you use your room key to access the parking) no worry about your vehicle. Plenty of heated pools and hot tubs throughout the property. Although we came at the beginning of summer - most of the shops in the resort were closed or closed very early afternoon. About 3 miles from town with plenty of restaurants and shopping and closest grocery store. The condo has a fully furnished kitchen so you don't have to eat out unless you want to. Approx. 4 miles from the resort we found plenty of snow for sledding and tubing, which was great. We stayed in a one bedroom that had a pull out sofabed (typical sofabed very uncomfortable. But had plenty of pillows and blankets. The resort gives you a 'passport' full of free coupons with plenty of free things to do for the entire family (gold panning, paddleboats, beaver prowling, etc.). Would definitely stay here again maybe at a not so 'out of season' time.
Room is very well appointed and functional. We slept 4 in the one bedroom model and were rather snug but doable. Kitchen had all you need, just don't forget items like spices, no stick spray, etc. Hot tubs were nice if rather heavy traffic in them. We were in Silver Mill whichn is righ at the base area, very nice. When checking in look at the map to see what building you are in, some are further out. Staff was excellent, check intime was 1600 they let us in to the room at 1100. Way easy walking distance to gondola and ski school. We knew that this place cost more than outlying, but the cost savings from eating in the room and cooking at home made it worthwhile.
