Great staff and excellent facilities
Clean and homely Bed frames are to short and kill the shins
The location was awesome, not very far from major attractions and Custer, SD is a wonderful little town. The bed was uncomfortable, and the noise level was a bit much at times.
Free cookies,breakfast & post cards
Great location, quaint, quiet, peaceful, kind staff. Needs new mattresses and flooring.
Location was good. We didn't end up staying because the hotel room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. It was gross, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while even though the carpet was new. There was a beer bottle in the bathroom cabinet from previous guests.
The hotel was really good & clean. Folks working there are excellent & caring. Big thanks who took care of us like family'. God bless them & good luck! Strongly recommended !! Keep the good work!
Great location to Yellowstone
Nice staff. Great location The breakfast was very limited

Location was good. Was not clean. No room service, no fresh towels without asking,no ice , no pool as advertised.
3rd shift staff was very friendly. Rooms were VERY out-dated! Carpet on the floor went up the area were you were supposed to put your bag...so no safe (aka. clean) place to put your luggage. The carpet, bedding & curtains just left you feeling dirty. Beds were VERY uncomfortable. Would NOT stay here again.
Location There was a dusty dead spider and a dusty cheetos, among other things, along the edge of the carpet throughout the room. The blinds across from the bed were so broken they couldn't be used. The impromptu blanket/curtain was not very helpful because it was hard to get to stay up if we wanted any daylight and I constantly thought it was going to fall down and break the curtain rod when adjusting the blanket.
Good location to Mt. Rushmore. It is a dump. The carpet looks like it's 30+ years old and hasn't been cleaned ever. There was dust built up in the corners of the carpet and a layer on top of the TV cabinet. The walls are so thin that you cannot watch TV at any volume without disturbing your neighbors. Don't bother with the breakfast. They ran out of milk for the cereal, and there wasn't much selection beyond that. The staff was not able to tell me anything about the town or Mt. Rushmore. They advertise that they have wifi, but it doesn't work. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies.
My wife and I are normally sketched out by super 8's but this one was actually nice
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Custer, only a 5 minute drive away. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. We heard every word of the conversation being held by the people in the next room, and they were not speaking loudly. We also heard every footstep taken by those in the room above us. The housekeeping staff was also not to be trusted. My wife had an unopened package of maternity underwear stolen from our room. Lock up everything if you stay here.
I especially liked and chose this hotel because it has electric car chargers. The motel rooms are reasonable and comfortable with free WiFi. Breakfast was provided which was mediocre. Nothing I did not like but I thought breakfast could have been better.
pet friendly, clean, seemed like family managed, friendly staff very small bathroom, vanity was outside of the bath tub room, no very convenient!
Friendly staff, accomodating. We were getting in late and they just told us what our room was and left the key in the door. Settled up in the morning. The place is old, but they have tried to maintain it well. Our room smelled bad, the sheets were clean but well worn (beaded). The water coming from the sink was brown until you ran it a bit. I didn't see any bugs but our traveling companions saw roaches when they turned on the lights. Coffee only.
Great location and price. Pool needs to be updated
Great to see well-operated "park outside your room door" motels like this. Very friendly staff too, well located in town w/i walking distance of restaurants...very pedestrian friendly "real town" environment that is so hard to find among the standard chain hotels.
