The nicest place on the island. The place is over the top. I was a little concerned when we pulled up in the taxi, but I was absolutely amazed when we went to the room. The place has an amazing view of the island with infinity pool. The best thing i liked about the place was the AC worked great. There was actuality two mini split units inside that cooled the place in no time flat. The price is great. I just wish that i could have stayed longer. -It is not walking distance to the beach or any stores. They however have a van that brings you to the beach or fisherman's village for free. -one guest was playing Middle Eastern hip hop really load at the pool for hours. Everyone at the pool was annoyed by this. I was hoping that the hotel would tell them to turn down or off. I suppose that the Thai culture is just to nice and let it slide. I did enjoy my stay. the pros out-way the cons by a long shot, and i would recommend this place to anyone.
Well chose this hotel for my wife’s 50th Our first trip to Thailand and if the funds were ever again available wouldn’t hesitate to return to this wonderful country, just one thing about Thailand don’t go if you think it will be cheap it isn’t [if you value your stomach] budget “going out prices uk” and you wont be disappointed and when the odd bargain comes along that’s a nice surprise. That said the real value is in the cost of the hotel rooms 4 star luxury at less than the cost of a travel lodge. Ok The Samui Palm beach resort, got a great price online after much searching and booked a room in the Royal Wing, on arrival the place was pretty empty [mid Feb is early season] so lucky us they put us in a beach bungalow one back from the ones that line the beach front [these were well out of our price range] and very near the main pool, we couldn’t believe our luck, the bungalow [they call them villas] was very large, very high ceilings, four poster bed with drapes, room safe, wet shower room, sunken bath, table and chairs inside and out and a sort of private garden area with coconut trees over, yes one of the tiles was chipped and the paintwork could do with re glossing but that would be being very picky considering what we paid. Later we checked out the rooms in the royal wing this complex appears very new and has the longest swimming pool on the island [but certainly not the widest] the rooms were very nice and finished to a high standard some had private plunge pools, but they were a bit dark and some way from the beach. The beach was very nice private and quiet and BO PHUT is very quiet, out of the complex there was a 7\11 within walking distance and a two acceptable restaurants if you want a change from the hotel which has several restaurants although only two were open [like I said the place was not that full] Prices…… Starter soup or satay 120 batt [double it for pounds thus £2. Well the brochure shows sunbeds in pairs along a grass bank overlooking the ocean these are reserved for the beach front villas only,[your told to keepout] this is not made clear and is a bit misleading. That said the provision for other guests is ok even if beach sun beds are a bit in short supply.
Highly recommend, this beautiful hotel, we felt relaxed and we were treated like VIPs.It was very quiet which made it all the more relaxing. We ate in the Four Winds Restaurant and thought the meal was excellent.Breakfast was very good. The room in the Royal Wing had direct access to the large pool. I especially liked the bed, very comfortable and very big, you could get lost in it. The staff could not do enough for you, were very courteous. We had problems with the room safe, they sorted it within minutes of reporting it.The lovely ladies who offered the beauty and massage treatments were fantastic, the one hour foot massage I received was for me pure heaven! The gardens were beautiful and well kept with many flowers. Nothing!!! From my experience I do not understand some of the reviews who have criticised the restaurant food. Everything was perfect!
Basic enough hotel; big room and comfortable bathroom; good variable breakfasts; huge green territory of the hotel; king-size bed there was not written anywhere that all the hotels at Bophut beach (I heard that at Maenam as well) has slimy bottom and turbid water as a result. it is not the fault of the hotel of course, but i think it is necessary to admit it.
We got a House right next to the beach, very nice The beach is nice but, the water is not clear, i do not know why, but its a fact that other beaches do have clear water...a bit suspicious. Furthermore the hotel seems a bit run down.
Hotel is located close to the beach, rooms are clean and spacious. Food at hotel's restaurants is rather good. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The room decor is not very nice in my opinion. The beach is not as well-maintained as in the hotels nearby. WiFi in lobby did not work some of the time
Staff were very friendly. Architecture was nice. And there was bike rental at the door step. Outdated facilities - bathroom needed urgently renovation. The coffee is "Nescafé" - taste horrible. And there was a huge line to grab breakfast. Really hated this part. Way too far away from everything. I think the hotel is not bad but it was way too expensive for what it offers.
The hotel was in a beautiful setting and the staff were always helpful.
wonderful location. lovely beach front pool villa. just needs a few finishing touches
Friendly staff, good breakfast, beautiful and quiet beach, nice area with garden and vegetation, well equipped room with comfortable bed, lot of activities. You can plant a tree, learn thai boxing and fruit carving, which were really nice to try. There are also snorkeling and kayaking possibilities. Hotel is environmentally friendly which is a big plus. The doors connecting the villas are not soundproof, so you can hear noise from your neighbor. Services are not always punctual, e.g. some day you get water bottles in your room some day not and schedules may change on short notice.
Included breakfast was EXCELLENT ROOM was HUGE! Property is well maintained POOL is GREAT Beach is good. Very very relaxing. Great staff. Cheap beach massages nearby. satelite WiFi was terribly spotty. Was unable to upload/download any files which prevented from a work correspondence to happen. could be costly if you have to communicate for work. simple emails and webpages was slow but doable. There was a roach sprinting through our bathroom, but- you are staying in the jungle, so we scooped it up and sent it outside. to get to the property there was a dirt road with a lot of street dogs. street dogs come through the beach area a lot. a pricey taxi ride to chewang. Skip Samui all together and go to Krabi. :)
staff did care about the guests. Very remoted place , very quiet and with a shuttle available.
It was very lovely hotell, we loved it! Relaxing, quiet and romantic. The staff was friendly and spoked good english.
Beautiful hotel, very nice view from chalet rooms to the sea. Beautiful jacuzzi, very big room (Chalet Jacuzzi). Peaceful place to stay, very comfortable hotel. Green terrirory. Shuttle bus to Chaveng 2 times in day(round trip). All is very nice, but stuff is not very proffessional. Hotel blocked full amount of my stay on my credit card, but when I asked a girl on reception, she said me that hotel didn't block any amount. I asked her again to check, but she said me "No". I have paid by cash. After that I have check my bank account. The amount was really blocked. Stuff don't make excuses to me. It was not professionally
Staff were all very polite We had difficulty with the jacuzzi not working and some of the staff were hard to commuicate with
The staff and service were impeccable, definitely recommended to anyone that would love a secluded getaway and anything at your fingertips. The staff are so helpful and accommodating, they definitely wanted you to feel at home. Beautiful views from the restaurant/bar - peaceful and breathtaking in the morning and evening. The beach is more private and secluded, not the sandy beach of Chaweng, but more for relaxation and family environments.
The Sunset Suite was absolutely beautiful. The walk from there to the reatuarant and beach is quit far but the hotel owned buggies are convenient and staff will drive you around. Hotel is located in quit part of Samui but that is why we choose this location. Beach towels are old and worn out and should be renewed.
Very friendly personel, excellent restaurant and nice bungalows. The life band that played on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesday is just perfect.
The staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Size of the rooms was fantastic.
i didnt like it at all ,, worse hotel i ever been in - not comfortable , not clean full of insects inside and outside, beds are very high with sharp edges very dangerous if u had kids ,, one bathroom for 2bedrooms not enough ,, aircondition not working properly leaking water all day ,, they charged us for using the mini bar when u didnt ,, we just stayed 3days although we booked for 5 cause it was very bad
This hotel is absolutely a living dream for those who want a have a perfect relaxing, escapist and quiet holiday at the aerie. It is located away from Samui's most noisy and crowded districts, but you can easily get there using hotel's complimentary shuttle bus. If you want to go to a nice place for dining or to the Chaweng beach (I do not recommend it - too crowded, but worth seeing), it is not a problem. The hotel is located in 20 minutes walking distance from Samui's most heavenly beaches. The rooms are huge and the stuff is the most friendly you can ever imagine. The spa is very nice. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the restaurant. Despite this, probably my best resort experience.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly, in a natural way. Free use of internet, a lot of DVD-movies to watch in your room. Nice breakfast, beautiful room. The pool area is rather small, but was ok in low season with only a few hotel guests.
Friendly staff and beautiful suite.
good service, free upgrades. good value for money limited choise at breakfast. location: you are dependend of an two-hourly busservice to the beach
being treated as royalty catered to every need beautiful villa wonderful staff no
This hotel does as much as is possible to do to ensuer that everything you might want is available. The pool and the rooms are outstanding and the efforts made to help you get to the rest of the immediate area [and back again] were much appreciated It could have done with being a little closer to the beach but this did not spoil what was a wonderful experience for us as honeymooners!
excellent staff, make you feel confortable at any time, excellent english speaking staff. luxury room.
This Hotel was incredible, Delight to stay here very big rooms The Hotel was not located on the beach but they did provide a free shuttle to thier sister hotel with excellent beach and facilities. Also the doors did not seal so need to watch out for mosquitos in the room.
fantastic hotel. really beautifully designed and well maintained with friendly staff. beautiful spa and beach it is a bit expensive but worth the money
Nice hotel, friendly staff, right on the beach The location is very quiet - depends what you are looking for. If a quiet place, great. If not, look for another hotel.
Omg, the best resort we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many. We actually had our wedding at the Saree Samui, and we could not have found a more amazing place. The staff are fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. The location is fabulous, the food amazing, the rooms are just sensational....I Just cannot say enough good things about this place, and all our 65 wedding guests (20+ who actually stayed there also) completely agree. Thank you so much Saree Samui for an unforgettable stay, we will be back. Nothing.
How I was Welcome The services in general The quality of the facilities Everything was excellent They make me like to come back
Friendly Staff offered the comfortable stay to us. Breakfast choice was excellent. Cozy atmosphere was appreciated.
Everything. We stayed there for a few nights over our friends wedding, and it was awesome, the best wedding we have ever been to. The location, food, staff, everything was amazing. N/A
Renovation works very noisy in the hotel, we have not been informed of these works before our arrival in the room. We change rooms for another in which there was problems with the toilets (twice) the bath, out of order for a day and pressuire af the shower. No real service, no trips organised, no shuttle whereas the hotel is far away from restaurants and bars.
remote & far from turists Staff DOESN"T speak English, good luck with ordering ham & cheese pizza! No facilities at all - false advertising!
Very relaxed and peacfull environment. A perfect, luxurious resort. The resort layout was mosern and open, covering a large piece of quiet, beachfront realestate. Everything Thailand has to offer is at your fingertips with the help of the staff. Sarre staff organise any form of travel, adventure, activity, retail, anything. Our stay ws most enjoyable.
This hotel was Paradise. Everything was amazing, the beach view pool villa was spectacular. The hotel was in a great location opening up onto the white beaches. I had a birthday while at Saree Samui and the staff and management went out of their way to make my day just perfect. Nothing is a problem the staff will do anything to make your stay memorable, they are genuinely nice people. The pool is huge much bigger than in the photos and nice and warm. With so much room between the villas you have so much privacy. The food is great, we didnt even bother eating outside the hotel as we enjoyed everything we had at the hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel to any one, one thing you must do is have a BBQ on the beach...simply amazing!
Private Jacuzzi Pool
Lovely villa pool spa rooms, restaurant food was good, and overall a lovely place to stay I did not like the fact there is a small road inbetween the reception/accommodation and the pool and the restaurant.
It was quiet and peaceful and, although a little way away from Chaweng, this was manageable with the hire of a car. There no instructions to the safe.
I enjoyed the 2-night-stayin this hotel very much, the interior design was simple but made me feel comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice. There were many lizards around, if you hate or scare lizard like me, it is a horrible trips everytime you back to your room in night time.
It was generally ok, but the price on the performance was quite poor.
definitely a very good quality of life for the money paid- we were looking for the 5* comfort for not more than 100 EUR per day. this hotel didn't have a rating yet- very new and not so many visitors yet, but am sure that with time it will get good reviews. room is very fresh, specious. pool and beach area are just great. everything is very clean and as the hotel is relatively small you do not feel that there are other people around. initially staying for 4 days we decided to prolong it for 10 days even though i believe it is a great place, not everything was perfect which also can explain the reasonable price for the rooms- stuff speaking terrible English " yes-yes" level, for breakfast you get a menu with 3 dishes- and this is the choice for the whole stay- my husband (for whom food is very important) was just angry- same scrambled eggs for the 10 days was rather a nightmare, moreover after 2 days asking the waiter to add beans to the scrambled eggs (both were in the menu), and still not getting them, we decided that probably it is not worth trying and ate in the other places. Another thing -there not enough parasols near the swimming pool so basically if you are not the early bird then will enjoy the sun for the whole day
I like the hotel staffs a lot. They are always having smile and try their best to comfort us. Or I will say they try to make it up to us. A lot of facilities are not yet ready. The pool is not dirty, villas are still under construction etc.
The design of the hotel and the pure luxury in an environment such as Thailand. Because the hotel was so new (it opend 3 days before our stay) there were several small things not perfect yet.
