8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, it takes 1 min to hop on the Tram towards the main spots and it is really next to the central station. The cafe they have is nice and serves delicious food and drinks, and has cool books to read. I had a double room and could control the room temperature which was nice. If you are just coming to Hiroshima for a day and want to be in the right spot, this hostel is it for you.
Cons: I tried a double room and the walls are like paper. You can hear people coming in, walking around and going out. Also the common area wasn’t busy since it is next door and you don’t need to go through there in order to go to your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent! So close to everything--especially when using the subway!
Cons: Everything was AWESOME.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the cafe/common area downstairs. Staff friendly and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really great, the shower, the room, the whole house! And the owner was so kind! I really recommend this place! When I will go to Hiroshima again, I will definitely choose this accommodation! Loved it there!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It's the place where you stay if you're tired of the big city buzz. Great host, had some nice chill time at evening bonfire with some drinks. Compared to city everything is more further away. But there is a shop in a walking distance where you can get all the things you need. Stayed 1 night and felt sad leaving so early.
Cons: Would be nice to have more privacy or it would be more modern, but let's be real - that is not the reason why to go there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the common room.
Cons: Not much. Location was great, as expected from the description.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The decore and vive of the place were great and the host was very nice.
Cons: A bit too far, and the bus is more like 30min +
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed a couple of time in the 88 House, and both times I had a great and nice experience. The owner is great host and make you feel warm and welcome. The room was wide and the futons really confortable, many people might not like the location but for me it's fine.
Cons: I don't have anything to complain about, however, some people with lots of luggage or small children might find a little inconvenient the location of the house.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My schedule was tight, and I went to Hiroshima specifically to visit the Museum. After that, I headed to this place outside of the city to take some rest and relax . It's beautiful, well designed, calm, quiet, special, magical.. There is Absolutely a UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE Here ! It was only one night, and I regret that I haven't spent much more time .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Kengo and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. He had a mini fridge with water and beer as well as a mini supermarket with the essentials. Our children loved the space available to play with the sports equipment that was provided and thought the creek was great. 88 House was very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Authentic, spacious and beautiful house! Beautiful and peacefull location in green environment! Friendly host! Supermarket nearby!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was amazing, and the owner Kengo is the friendliest person I've met in Japan. The amenities are good, everything is clean, there's tons of information on Hiroshima. I wanted a nice bed to sleep in while I toured Hiroshima but it was so nice I struggled to leave the compfy living area every morning! The area is peaceful and there is small river right beside the property to listen to while you fall asleep in the great Japanese style rooms! Yard and outdoor space is also nice during the day, plenty of board games and a few instruments to keep you busy, great for small kids too! Fridge and kitchen for cooking, and since it's a smaller place you wont feel over crowded with people, maybe 2-4 other guests. If your going to stay in Hiroshima I could not recommend this place more, 100% will return again!
Cons: It's a little far from the city, and getting change for the bus was a bit of a hassle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Supernice host, very clean, beautiful house! Super!
Cons: Everything great, it is a bit out of the city center, so you have to take buses, which might get abit expensive, but you get a real Japanese house with garden and beautiful nature, so it is worth it!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was spacious. The staff were friendly. Excellent location right at the station & close to bus service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super convenient location next to the Shinkansen train station. Well appointed property.
Cons: Buffet for breakfast and dinner could be improved.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: After some disappointing experiences in other cities we were craving for comfort A good bed Good climate control (not the fan/airco blowing in your neck all night) We find this here!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location directly connected to Hiroshima station. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby as well as the buses, trams and of course trains (including the tourist loop bus you can use with your JR pass for free). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms large for Japan.
Cons: Charge to use the pool was very high and restriction on tattoos a little odd but not uncommon in japan. Other hotels have offered use of a free rash guard to cover shoulder tattoos but here we would have had to go buy one.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Direct connection from Hiroshima train station. Did not even need to go down to street level. This was great because I had all my luggage with me. Easy transition after a long day of travel. The room was very spacious after having stayed in more standard Japanese hotel rooms.
Cons: Shower / tub design. Very open to room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hiroshima Sheraton is a very nice hotel directly located next to the train station. Nice view over Hiroshima in higher floors. Would always stay there again. The rooms are new and very clean. Loved it.
Cons: -
7.5 Good
Pros: Well situated nearby the station, very practical and easy to eat all around. Rooms are good and spacious even if it is a bit expensive for what it is.
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t the best ever and especially the breakfast box as we had to leave early. Very cheap box for the quality of tte Sheraton. I found amazing that we had to pay such an expensive price for the swimming pool, not included in the room price (first time ever I see that).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location great , friendly polite and helpful staff. Room immaculate
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - right next to the station with an elevated concourse connecting the Shinkazen exit to the hotel lobby lift! Small but effective gym on site which was great. Good views from rooms.
Cons: You have to pay extra (per person) to use the pool and Jacuzzi which was a shame, it was empty the whole time we were there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient and perfect, located at the JR rail/Shinkansen station, with Hiroshima city streetcar station in front of rail station. Extremely clean, awesome beds, spa-like showers, great food, fun bar with Happy hour, easily-accessed smoking area outside the lobby, corner rooms with amazing views, English speaking staff, money-converting machine in lobby, A+ breakfast buffet, convenience stores located steps away in rail station and across the street.
Cons: All was basically perfect. Just know that the hotel is NOT "walking distance" to any tourist spots, but IS located steps from the rail and Shinkansen central station and a short walk to Hiroshima streetcar station which will take you all over the city for a few dollars. (¥160 or $1.60 to go direct to Atomic Dome and a museum). Restaurants are pricey but there are 7-Elevens in the rail station for late snacking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for price. Very pleased with size of room and comfort. Staff so helpful and pretty good at speaking English. Bar was nice place to relax. Close to station and very convenient. Room service was nice as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and breakfast

Pros: Such a lovely place run by a young family. The interior is stylish and very clean. Bunks were comfortable and you can always cuddle with toy poodle Oto :) To visit the memorial museum and Miyajima it’s a nice location.
Cons: Unfortunately the location is not so convenient if you still want to go out for a drink at night. Also mostly families stayed there, which was okay but not so much fun as in other hostels.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was impeccable, from the staff to the toilets. Highly recommend staying there, one of the best hostels I've ever been to!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Otto is the cutest dog ever, and the place had great atmosphere and charm. Showers were very clean, and the location was just about perfect.
Cons: Other guests were quite annoying - making noise throughout the night. In addition, the dorm light sensors were automatic, so it was bright even in the bunks for the whole night. Turning off the main lights altogether after 11 pm would have been great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a quaint little and cozy place situated in a walkable distance to peace park and many other attractions. Cute lobby space, toilets, bedrooms, and little dog! Love warm lights so that’s a plus from me, and big locker space right where the bed is. I got a bed right next to the window which i loved.
Cons: Nothing at all :)

Pros: Clean and recent hotel Perfect location. Walking distance to all main tourist attractions. Breakfast was good with Japanese and Western breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really to complain about. We felt like the breakfast is nog really at the same level as the hotel itself is. (But it was certainly good enough!)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff at Reception excellent. Breakfast room staff excellent. Cleaning staff excellent. Good breakfast lots of choice. Nice large room lovely comfortable bed. Very convenient location easy to get to the sights.

Pros: The place is very clean, offers cozy areas, has an elevator (which is something great when you have bog luggage), all the members of the staff were really helpful and friendly, location is very convenient as it is near JR Station and not far from many of the most well know attractions in Hiroshima... In summary, this is a very recommendable place to stay while in Hiroshima^^
Cons: The room I stayed had no curtains, which means that people near the window woke up with the sun. For it was fine because I had to get up early every morning but it might be a bit annoying for those people who are not early birds. Apart from that, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for everything!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in the room was excellent. The staff was very, very, very kind and ready to serve. The transport from the hotel to the ferry and back were very good, and even when they have a schedule, they accommodate to our needs.
Cons: Having the meal in the room is a very nice experience but sometimes the smell will stay for a while in the room. It will clear but if you are susceptible to this you should let them know.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel team was lovely and very efficient, always there for us. The shuttle service is very nice! The hotel itself has a beautiful view with a 70' style that we've appreciate. The food was good, hopefully because most of the restaurant in the town are closed in the evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location beside the sea. Main tourist area is a 20-minute walk. However, the hotel provides regular free shuttle service. 2. Traditional Japanese Inn. We went to dinner and breakfast with Kimonos supplied by the facility. These were very interesting culinary experiences, especially since the number of items was large. Fortunately, a person who lives in Japan was with us and therefore could guided us about what has to be eaten with what, which item follows which, and so on. (A little kid in a nearby table said to his mom: "I'm not touching anything on this plate"!)
Cons: The property is somewhat expensive. However, the experience is unique.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service from the staff, shuttle bus from hotel to town, a few steps from the sea, japanese dinner at our room was incredible!
Cons: The asian breakfast was a little bit weird, and the hotel seems old already.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room for 2 adults and 1 child in a twin bed room (beds are not very large, so be aware that two adults cannot sleep on the same bed, but 1 child and 1 adult is OK); great breakfast (sort of buffet with western and asian dishes), perfect location (near to a electric railway station, the number 2, direct from Shinkansen train station), nice staff with adequate English level and free access to a small japanese spa (mini onsen with 2 pools and traditional showers).

Pros: Very new place so it’s quite clean and quirky.
Cons: The breakfast was a mad. Got there early and it still took 30 minuets to get though the buffet line.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Small room as expected in japan
10.0 Excellent
Pros: convenient location and luxurious, it felt great to stay there.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Modern hotel. Good location.
Cons: Very small rooms, the smallest we saw during our 3 week stay in Japan. You don’t even have space to put the bags (let alone open them)! The first room we were given smelled like a public toilet. They gave us another room, but staff at reception was more focused in making sure we paid in advance than in solving the problem! Staff at reception didn’t really speak English, which for a hotel is kind of unacceptable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious, super clean, nice pajamas and slippers, staffs are caring and courteous they helped me sending luggages to our next hotel in Osaka, yummy breakfast, perfect location it’s near malls and bus stop and train stop just 2 mins walking. Didn’t get a chance to check out their sky spa, would try it next time we’re staying in the hotel again.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nice place to stay a couple of days in Hiroshima. The hostel is close to the memorial park (only 5 minutes walking). From the station take streetcar nr. 2 to the stop called Dobashi; then it's a 3 minute walk. The public bath (onsen) is just around the corner; don't miss it after a day of walking. Just opposite the hostel on the corner is a nice place to have a good breakfast.

Pros: 5 mins walk from Dobashi Station. Very comfy lounge and the Staff were super friendly and helpful, they even provided a small locker for me to keep my valuables which i greatly appreciated! Beds were super comfy and it was relatively spacious 7 mins walk to the Atomic bomb dome and a further 2 mins walk to the Memorial.
Cons: None! Value for the solo traveller :)

Cons: Rooms were a bit generic and difficult to maneuver with three people.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, Location, Location !!! Very refreshing to stay here after some average accommodation. I would recommend to anyone. Will stay here every time I visit in future.
Cons: Nil
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great location at the train station and great views. Many restaurants in the hotel and around and a higher floor restaurant. Larger than typical room and very comfortable linens and details.
Cons: The maple loop tourist bus winter hours aren't very long. The restaurant and hotel is expensive.

Pros: Location was excellent - a 1 min walk across a parking lot to Hiroshima station for late night food and shopping. And in the morning, we simply rode the escalator in the hotel lobby straight up to the shinkansen - so convenient!
Cons: Price was about twice what we paid for similar quality hotels in similar areas in Tokyo and Kyoto.
8.8 Excellent

Kinsuikan - Hiroshima - Lobby
13
8.7 Excellent (813 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Miyajima Kinsuikan in Hatsukaichi, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Itsukushima Shrine and Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely typical Japanese Ryokan where you can experience wearing typical dress and taste local delicacies. Excellent location and great professional staff who cannot do enough to make your stay memorable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location on the water was perfect. Easy walk from/to the ferry. We had two luxury triple rooms (with private bathrooms) next to each other. Both had nice sitting areas (including a massage chair) with views of the water and the floating torii gate. Dinner served in the room was wonderful, and breakfast (served in the dining hall) was good, too. The futon was incredibly comfortable and there was a selection of pillows so you could choose what you liked. We spent 15 days in Japan and I had my best night's sleep here. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We only only spent one night on Miyajima but we all felt we would have liked another day to see and do more. Another night at Kinsuikan would have been heaven.
Cons: The downside to the Japanese style rooms is that there's no place to lie down if you need to. Since we had just arrived in Japan the night before (from the US), we were still quite jet-lagged and after dinner all I wanted to do was go to bed but our futons hadn't been set up yet. If I had it to do over again I would still book a Japanese style room, but I might ask them to set up the futons sooner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was nice, service was good, but not exceptional by Japanese standards.
Cons: Pricey for what it offers. I think they charge for 2 people so it was pricey because they do not give you more, just charges for 2

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite an interesting place to stay; the owner also has a bar (only open in the evening) on the 3rd floor so if you want to meet the (sometimes crazy!!) locals, this is a great place! Also, the owner has a big collection of manga (mostly in the bar but also in the dormitory) and likes to talk about it. The facilities are clean and there are good lockers for belongings. While not exactly located close to the station, it is pretty central.
Cons: Finding the hostel was a bit difficult as the sign was hard to find (in Japanese). Its on level 4 of the building. While at first it does not look like much, it is pretty good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Free towels every day Free Massage chair Early check in
Cons: Weak WiFi in the lounge area
9.5 Excellent
Cons: For a 10+ beds hostel, there should be more toilet & bathroom
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Host and clean
Cons: Location is little far from city
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a cheap place to stay for the two nights I was there. Owner was pretty friendly and the accommodations were alright. Close to places to eat or to a conbini, the ever present savior of gaijin everywhere in Japan.
Cons: I wished I had asked for a bottom bunk when I was booking, I'm a little unsteady and while the bunk bed held up my prodigious bulk, I did worry I might come crashing down on the person below me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Takoyaki and a bar in same building
Cons: Washing machine and dryer?
9.3 Excellent
Pros: free rental towels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel owner, Mr Yosuke is a very kind person and showed his best hospitality amongst Kure city. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the energetic side of this city.

Pros: The room is clean, the staff is helpful, the dist4ict is nice, close to all major attractions like the peace memorial and the breakfast is good. The best hotel hotel I have been in Japan.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect for the price.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is near all tourist areas. Bathroom was quite big for japanese standards.
Cons: our window faced a wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast includes both Japanese style and continental style.
Cons: Parking was hard to find and some streets were only one way.... took a long time to figure out the parking.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Super clean hotel that appears like it caters to business travelers. The room, for Japan, was quite roomy and accommodating. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast. The location was convenient to the JR bus lines so you can travel the city at no cost, if you have the the JR RailPass. Fantastic shopping is also a few blocks away.
Cons: The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast so if this is your thing, this is perfect. If you haven’t quite evolved your tastebuds then you may leave a little hungry.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great private area with superior capsule room and cleanliness.
Cons: Beds could’ve been more comfortable
9.5 Excellent
Cons: The bed was way to firm and I sleep on my side, otherwise a great value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and supportive staff, cleanliness of the hostel. More than a ** hostel, it really is more like a ***** hostel. The place is super clean.
Cons: The pod is not noise insulated, so you are kept awake by people who snore, even if you use the ear plugs provided! Hostel should ask visitors if they snore and if so, accommodate them in a special section to not disturb other customers. I wished hotel description in booking.com would have informed me that as an JR pass holder, I am eligible to ride, for FREE, the tourist sightseeing Orange Bus Line that takes customers directly to the hostel's doorstep from the Hiroshima Train Station. By the way, there are two other tourist busses that JR passholders can ride for free, Blue and a third color that I cannot remember
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, right outside a tram stop. Very easy to find, clean and tidy.
Cons: Photos are a little misleading as the standard capsules do not have a TV. Noisy at times, but this is expected with the capsule format.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, easy to walk to Hiroshima Peace Memorial sites, Shukkuien Gardens and Hiroshima JR Station. Very clean, had my own room so lots of privacy. Neat bathrooms, with shampoo, hair dryers, etc all provided.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, we were allowed an early check in. It was a great location for many sites.
Cons: Fans and ventilation in capsules were not working.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The space in a capsule is bigger than i expected. There is plenty of room for two bags and a person. After i had checked out, they allowd me to leave me luggage in the hotel so i could travel lightly into the city. After i came to pick up the luggage they offered me something to drink (thank you Natsuki!)
Cons: Getting there, you want to use either a taxi or take the right tram. If you go by bus expect to walk for a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My first time in a capsule hotel, I’m still in awe. Super easy to get there from the Hiroshima station by cablecar, station is right in front of it. Extremely quiet and clean. Floor had 3 bathrooms and it was extremely clean with great shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The towels were great quality and they had additional items like toothbrush and hair brush. Breakfast was better than most hotels, simple but good quality. I would highly recommend this place for the ordinary joe. Great experience and great place to sleep and a good shower
Cons: I wish the capsule temperature was just a bit down, but then again that could be my western talking
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good capsule!!!! Really nice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for one night in this capsule hostel and it was a very nice experience. Even though we arrived way before the check-in time, we could leave our luggage at the reception. The capsules were spacious and comfortable, and everything was very clean and quiet. There is a small common area with some tables. There, however, it would have been nice to have the possibility for hot tea. The breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Western style and good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a clean and easy hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely staff
Cons: Bed not very comfortable and didn't like the mixed female and male areas particularly because it's a business hotel. I didn't feel very welcome as a solo female.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great - lots of choice with Western and Japanese options
Cons: The capsules would benefit from a little more airflow inside

Cons: Location was handy to access entertainmen5 centre, and street cars and hop Off buses.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, equipment and personnel are very nice. Overall very good quality/price ratio.
Cons: The breakfast can be better, starting with the restaurant. It seemed old. The bathroom needs some refreshing.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The midnight noodles were excellent and a great hit with the kids. The onsen was very nice and had great lotions and amenities. The shuttle to the JR Station was very much appreciated and used for our day trip Miyajima. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Great location. The gyoza restaurant at the end of the block was excellent.
Cons: The pillows were not our favourite with the buckwheat in them. The window opened to a concrete wall but we weren't in the room much.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff whose English was good.
Cons: The room was clean, but the bedding under the sheets had stains and smelled.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to Peace Park. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was absolutely clean. The shuttle bus to the station was very helpful. I appreciated the free coffee machine. They served free ramen late in the evening, but I didn't try them.
Cons: My room was very small and poky, a window gave onto another wall close by. The bathroom was tiny, but it all worked fine and was beautifully clean. The breakfast was better for the Japanese than the International offering but was adequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful, as was the included onsen. The staff was extremely kind. Location was great - short walk to the Peace Museum. Also appreciated the free shuttle to Hiroshima Station.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hot baths in the hostel : perfect! location was good (center of Hiroshima) and bed very nice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle to train station is provided in the morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a convenient location close to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and with good links to Hiroshima station (tram line no. 1 or JR bus, about 15 mins). In the morning there was a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the station, which was very handy. The hotel is very clean, the decor is slightly upmarket compared to other Dormy Inns I stayed at. Free soba noodles in the evening and free coffee are a plus, and as in other Dormy Inns the onsen on the top floor is a great benefit.
Cons: The bathroom was quite small, but with the onsen available from 3pm through to 10am the next day we hardly used the bathroom for showers. The onsen is quite small compared to other Dormy Inns I stayed at, but still fit for purpose.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bedroom’s size
