Pros. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast ladies were great. The breakfast picked veggies were great. Many buses stop right in front of the hotel and the $5 day pass pays for itself with one round trip. On the 5th floor and up there can be a view of pagoda shrine on the west side. It's a walk from the train station but doable. For the cheaper price, it's worth considering. I did not try the bathing rooms.
Cons. I had nasal sensory overload at this hotel. Between the smoking room right by the front desk (where one leaves the key), cleaning products in the elevator, chemically personal products and room that smelled whenever we ran the ac and fogged up otherwise, it was too much. The exhaust from the buses would come in when we opened the window on the street side. Definitely cheaper products are used here.
