Great for families - very pleasant, relaxed public spaces.
The location of La Jamaca is super close to la parguera where you find all kinds of kiosk of good, drinks etc. the staff is very nice even tough we are a gag couple everyone was extremely nice and friendly . Sangia marca CONO is a most have . And go see Walter in the marina 2 ppl a hour your for 45$ amazing
This place is really 1 of a kind. Landlord lives on the property and is super friendly. Wish I couldve stayed more than 1 night there.
It was literally right there next to the water. Close to everything there is to do in La Parguera. The staffs were extremely nice and helpful. It was not ideal for extended stay. Room didn't have internet, no refrigerator in room, or microwave. You're force to eat at one of the restaurants.
Close to the beach/waterfront Beautiful plaza nearby Very nice staff Swimming pool/area nice Parking area limited. Parking posts unusually low and consequently unsafe. :-( Handicap/Accessible parking limited to two (2) spots; first day one spot occupied by a staff member. Accessible Room limited to a single room Bathroom too small
Location was excellent Internet only in the reception
Pueden mejorar el buffet de desayuno
Centrally located. Multiple nearby restaurants and pubs. Within walking distance of tour boats. Convenient parking. Good value for the money. The television had yet to be upgraded. (Flat screens are readily sold at Wal-Mart). No wifi in the rooms.
The views and grounds were a bit of paradise. My stay was reminiscent of a time from the past. The staff was awesome. For me, it was a perfect choice for what I wanted. Nothing.
not a super fancy resort but has absolutely everything you need, it's clean, has great facilities with an amazing view, and in the most perfect location. my friends and I honestly couldn't have asked for more, and it was not expensive at all for the three of us to share one room. when we arrived check in was super easy, no hidden extra costs, we hung out by the pool and watched from our balcony as pelicans dove into the water right in front of us. we love it here and can't wait to come back!
Nothing The worst hotel ever seen. dirty, old, and so expensive. Please don't go there!!!!!!
This place is terrible. Lines for check-in exceed 45 minutes due to slow staff and inefficient processes. People cut in line and this is tolerated by staff which makes those waiting have to wait even longer! I complained to Mrs. Garcia (event director and the Manager on Duty) and the next day, still no change. The rooms are run down and furniture came from the 60's. It is like staying at a Motel 6 built in 1960 that has not been updated in 60 years. Run down and old. I have stayed in hotels all around the world. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for service and comfort.
I liked almost everything. I did not like the small extremelly soft pillows and the air conditioner turns out and on out and on no matter if you put it in low high or auto. we all got sick after leaving the hotel because of the changing temperature in the rooms
The level of relaxation I attained at the Rincon beach resort was rejuvenating and revitalizing. The beach and pool are in great proximity. The garden and palms are perfectly placed and spaced. The beach chairs are comfortable. the beach also offers a long stretch to walk or bath along. The pool is nicely shaped with a shallow and deeper end. The hot tub. Is very comfortable and a good size. There's also a swim up bar and a new outdoor grill for your food and beverage needs. Rooms are private and balconies are perfect for relaxing at sunset. The staff was great. All very polite and professional with great knowledge of the resort and surrounding area. Jose Torres, Antonio, and Geneva at bar tending and Marcelo at the front desk just to name a few. They made my stay truley unforgettable. I will return again someday soon. Hot tub and pool need to stay open 24hrs. A few putters for the putting green and I wouldn't mind seeing paddle boards for rent the next time I stay there. Other than that it's great.
I love the infinity pool! Beutiful sunset from the beach.
The staff and the check in counter was nice. As soon as we arrived to the hotel there was no one to help with the luggage. The elevator was really slow and smelled strange. The balcony of our room smelled a bit like urine. The blanket was the most scratchy uncomfortable fleece I have ever had the displeasure of using. No extra pillows in the room. The room door has to be pulled shut and won't close by itself. The sand was very dirty and littered with cigarette butts.
One of the cleanest hotels we stayed at in Puerto Rico, Great restaurant downstairs, good size pool with hot tub. Swim up bar. Great beach. The bartender over charged for the drinks ordered and after pointing out the mistake he insisted it was tax. $16 for $11 worth of drinks accounts for much more than tax. Other than that, it was great.
staff was very professional,
Beautiful resort, very well maintained - super clean. Super friendly English speaking staff, good food, nice rooms, hot big showers, comfortable stay right on the beach. The only negative is that the beach is nice, bit the water has sea weed like reefs that you can't swim in, like they come out of the water. In order to swim you need to walk about two football fields to the other side of the beach where the water is clear.
Quick response to service requests from the courteous staff. $150 hold applied to my credit card which was held for over two weeks after checking out. I had to call and request it be removed. I had prepaid my whole stay and the large amount and long time to be removed was a hassle.
Perfect location in the Poblado, clean, walking distance to the balneario, great service, Great rooms! Wifi problems, didn't have wifi for the entire stay.
I liked the location as it has the public square and several restaurants and bars nearby I did not like the bad musty smell in the room and all the street noises are heard inside the room
It was located at a pinturesque spot on the town. The building has history. It had a unique architecture. The room was very comfortable. The parking was good. Some corners of the building needed a little painting. The included breakfast was mostly a little snack. Sometimes there were hair in the bathroom after cleaning.
The service Continental breakfast
Location. Front desk staff did not have change available(coins), for laundry service.
La limpieza delhotel excelente, el personal fantstico y siempre pendiente en lo que ecesita el cliente, amable, y educado. Esta situado en una area convniente y accesible a cualquier sitio de la ciudad. No tiene reealmente un verddero restaurante
The Staff was kind and helpful. The reservations process went smoothly, The location was great in the heart of town. Yes would recommend other persons to stay. Quiet and comfortable. The smell of the room felt needed some freshening up. Strong damp and a bit dusty. The bathroom was clean but the toilet paper was hanging without the dispenser rod. Otherwise everything else was very good.
Hotel is located in the historic Mayaguez downtown. It is next to the historic Mayaguez Cathedral built in the 1700's, La Plaza de Colon and a block away from bars and clubs. Hotel is historic as well, as the building used to be a monastery. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, and staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is mediocre, but right across the street is Ricomini Bakery, a Mayaguez favorite. Church starts ringing the bells every 30 minutes rather early in the morning.
Great food No phones in rooms
Good location for beach and eating staff was fix for 5 Star quality's unbelievable polite and truly helpful Was a little dated but clean
Hotel is not located on or near a beach, there was no cable tv,or internet service available during my stay. The pool really needs care.
Location, and the open air bar. Musty smell in room. Loud airconditioner. Bedding was old/low quality.
All the silence, tranquility, very happy people, genthel. A very good OLÉ! four stars. Have a coffee table with the coffee maker. OLÉ!
Nice place, great food, pretty nice people! Parking space is out of the facilities and full of trees, but in general was a great experience.
Hotel is nothing like pictures. Foul smell coming from water kept us inside. No windows in room that were not nailed shut. Coffee was ready but I couldn't have any because it wasn't served til 8. Had to pay 19$ for breakfast that was supposed to be included in room rental. No carpets in room. Cold dirty floors. Save your money here and stay at beachfront resort down the road. Outrageously priced dinner options....they think they are the 4 seasons. Very disappointing hotel stay
I love the place, its so quiet and peaceful. Love the room, king bed, small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. No 24/7 room service or vending machines. No laundry room for guest. Waterside can get a little clean up.
The rooms were clean the staff were very helpful night life was great the restaurant food was very good a special thanks to the girls thank you milsa you were great I didn't like that there was no microwave to warm up my left over
The location is perfect. The staff
Close to beach. Noisy air conditioner and no amenities.
Everything is near by. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was horrible, go eat breakfast at 'El Meson Sandwiches'.
staff is friendly small room and not be clean
El trato del personal fue excelente,la limpieza y accesibilidad a areas de entretenimiento Me hubiese gustado que la habitacion tuviese cafetera
Location. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach.Just an FYI comment: Stayed here in Feb 2015. Very quiet mid week this time of year (3 rooms were rented on Thursday night). Weekends are busy with locals of Puerto Rico (hotel was nearly full on Friday). No glass in windows, instead exterior metal shutters, like blinds. This meant no sunlight if AC is on. Shutters didn't block noise, so dogs, roosters, cars, delivery trucks all made sleeping difficult.Hard mattress.I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Location, best spot in town Hotel needs to be renewed overall to keep pace with time -2015!!!!!
The location The hotel did not have a elevator, microwave or iron.
In one word, location. They can still improve. There's plenty of room for it. The staff is genuinely service oriented.
1. There were cockroaches and other insects. 2.The included breakfast was a joke, we ended up going somewhere else to have breakfast. 3. Bedsheets had been used and not changed. We have travelled a lot and we are budget travellers, but this is by far the worst place. We have stayed in hostels for 15€ that were way better than this parador oasis. For $63 we were expecting at least a clean place.
The hotel is inside the town proper in Mayagúwz Puerto Rico and features arquitecture typical of latinamerican towns in the beggining of the 20th centrury. It was quiet and beatiful, simple and elegant. It was not luxurious but it was worth the money spent. The hotel seems to have been initially intended for a monastery and repurposed into a hotel. It features a host of religious pictures and themes, however it is not the type of in-your-face setup that would really bother a reasonable individual. The hotel does not have a lot of parking space, although did not have a problem finding a spot in an adjacent street. The room was small and would not recommend it for a prolonged stay or if you actually needed to spend time working inside the room. Additionally, the rooms seem not to have been designed with a bathroom in mind. Hence, the bathroom is very small and cramped. Nonetheless I am a big guy and could do everything, with the bath door closed.
You guys offer hotels of 3 Stars that is n reality 1 star Sorry, but I waist my money.
Excellent unique hotel with a rich history. Breakfast was typically terrible like every other american hotel.
