Guests were very pleased with the pool area, describing it as a highlight of their stay, and many also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. However, several guests expressed dissatisfaction with the service, particularly at check-in and in the pool bar area, citing long waits and unhelpful staff. Pros (+) Loved almost everything about the Golden Nugget this stay. The staff were always above and beyond in help and attention. The value of the experience was top notch. You can instantly relax once on property. I did not get a change to play golf but overheard a few making very positive comments about the course. Cons (-) There is only one complaint I have - the smell. There is a combination of smoke from the Casino and a deodorizer used to mask the scent that is overwhelming to me. I guess that comes with the territory of a casino but it seems a bit much.

Bad design. Our group had 3 rooms next to each other with a lot of room hopping over 3 days. We prefer no housekeeping thus we use privacy tags. Room doors need the swing la...
