Pros: I'm not that picky when choosing a place to sleep. Emme lodge is a beautiful and relaxing space. I really like the garden. The room was spacious and a bit rural with low ceilings but fine by me. To top it off the Tour de Suisse passed Langnau the day I was there. It was a great spectacle!

Pros: Host is a couple who are genuinely nice people who enjoy having guests. The studio is exceptionally clean and lovingly decorated, just like pictures. Bed is very good, and small kitchen has everything you need. Refrigerator was filled with breakfast items, so that you can prepare them easily. Host provides fresh breads in the morning. Your room with en-suite bathroom is right next to the entrance, so you won't bother host when you go in and out. Overall this is a fantastic find, and I hope to come back and stay here again.

Pros: Proximity to railway station (5-minutes walk) was great, Langnau is a rather pretty little town. Rooms were very clean, had tea/coffee facilities, beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Loud noise from people chatting outside the bar downstairs. A bit old-fashioned. Nobody to check you in (which wasn’t an issue, things were well prepared. It just felt a little strange). Price too high for what is offered.

Pros: I've been in Bern twice in the last months to write aviation exams at the Civil Aviation offices in Ittighen, so I opted for the Ibis Budget, in consideration of its perfect position (for my needs: about ten minutes to downtown, ten minutes to Ittighen) and affordable price. As an extra at the moment of check-in I received a bus ticket valid for my whole stay.
Cons: Not really much to complain, being a cheaper brand of Ibis Hotels. The furniture was minimal and there were no appliances like hairdryer or iron.

Pros: We had a pleasant stay in the private room for two nights. We were given the Bern ticket for free when we checked in, which can be used on all public transports within the Bern city including the funicular connecting the hostel and the city centre. With the funicular you can get access to shops and restaurants quickly and easily. The staffs were very helpful and friendly.

Pros: I have stayed multiple times at this property, it is very central budget accommodation in Bern. Not only students stay here though, I’ve seen a lot of families, groups, best agers. Mattresses are very comfortable, lockers in the rooms can be locked. Large common areas: canteen with enough seats, fridge and microwave, as well as lounge with big table and some sofas and bar. Nice outside area with seating, big chess set and ping pong table.
Cons: Bathrooms cleanness is not the same as earlier.

Pros: We choose the panoramic view hotel (has some costs) although was worth it because you can relax and enjoy Bern city view. The most interesting part of the hotel is that you can enjoy the room and you have a Casino inside.
Cons: The hotel is under renovation and when we booked the hotel they should warn before that we would suffer some disturbing noise and maybe give the option to the guest if would like to stay with the reservation. At 8:00 they were starting the noises. Regardless that, the hotel is amazing when it would be ready.

Cons: There was extensive building work going on and the proximity of our room meant that during the day you could not rest in your room. The Michelin restaurant also closed at the end of last year. With the building work I would recommend people stay somewhere else.

Pros: The hotel was modern looking, and the room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location was within walking distance to the city center or a quick bus ride. The staff was accommodating when it was late and I realized I hadn't booked my second night.
Cons: It would have been nice if the hotel had honored the first night's price when I had neglected to book my second night. I paid a much higher price. Sounds like some rooms had a better view.

Pros: It's super clean and the kitchen is superb like you're at home with complete cooking utensils. My room is just next to the kitchen and bathroom so it's really very convenient for me. It's a bit far from the main train station but the hotel (or municipality ) provide to all guest an unlimited free bus ride around city so it's really not a problem if you don't want to walk 20 to 30 min to the main train station.

Cons: Not much to mention, the only minus thing is maybe the location, it takes 25min to go to the city centre; but even that is comfortable because tram stops in front of hotel and you get a free public transport ticket for the entire stay.

Pros: Located in proximity to Napf and other attractions. Handmade Rösti and very attentive, though slightly intrusive staff. Rich breakfast. Comfortable beds! Ample space in our room. Parking lot.
Cons: Radiates a plain and rather Swiss-specific, worn-down charm. Staff warned us of rooms potentially not being too clean - which the wash basin in fact was. Noisy room facing the street.

Pros: I was unsure about booking a room with shared bathroom facilities and a twin bed, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was cozy and clean and the shared bathroom was just fine. We had a wonderful breakfast included the next morning and Stephen was a friendly and hospitable host.

Pros: Clean with large room. Located next to bus stop and close to the station. Good continental breakfast. The restaurant across the train tracks with the same owners is excellent.
Cons: A little disoriented by lack of staff. However they are just a phone call away and respond promptly to any requests.

Pros: We had late-arrival, but key was already there / prepared. Big room. Good bed.
Cons: Cushion (in bed) was too soft. Couldn't fix the shower on a higher position.(not too bad)

Pros: Kept old charm, but nicely renovated sanitary facilities. Very clean and friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the in/outdoor bar downstairs and also in the Café Bar across the street.

Pros: Proximity to railway station (5-minutes walk) was great, Langnau is a rather pretty little town. Rooms were very clean, had tea/coffee facilities, beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Loud noise from people chatting outside the bar downstairs. A bit old-fashioned. Nobody to check you in (which wasn’t an issue, things were well prepared. It just felt a little strange). Price too high for what is offered.

Pros: The hotel was very comfortable and in the perfect location - close to the train station and quiet.
Cons: The restaurant was closed on the two days we stayed there which broke our hearts. We had to have picnics.

Pros: Comfortable, nicely decorated room. The breakfast was very good. Staff spoke English well. Convenient location with a 2 minute walk to the train station.

Cons: Not everyone in hotel spoke English, but service was good anyway :) Pretty limited choice during breakfast.

Cons: To have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink later in the evening would be a pleasing extra. Some shampoo with the soap when showering.

Pros: The building is wonderful - 250 year old former farmhouse - in a quiet location yet easy walking distance to shops and station.

Cons: The ceiling s room is very low and the thin walls that you can hear the people snoring from the other rooms. The night was the worst of my trip.

Pros: I'm not that picky when choosing a place to sleep. Emme lodge is a beautiful and relaxing space. I really like the garden. The room was spacious and a bit rural with low ceilings but fine by me. To top it off the Tour de Suisse passed Langnau the day I was there. It was a great spectacle!
Cons: The owners could have shown me around a bit more. But other than that nothing to complain.
