The remodeled rooms. Its actually a quiet sleeping experience .
Overpriced during CES convention. Super smokey having to walk through the casino. My room smelled moldy. The bathrooms need better lighting and mirrors to apply makeup, it's Las Vegas afterall.
Close proximity to the class.
The beds were too small and worn out and the bathroom doors do not close properly so there's no privacy
Nothing maybe the gambling at the bar
This place is affordable for both gambling and lodging. The hotel and casino staff is friendly and helpful. You can easily walk to the Palms or Rio from here, or if you are looking to get a low key Vegas experience on a budget you'd really never have to leave. It's off the strip, but if the strip is too busy for you it is a great option. My flight home was not until 9:00 pm, but they allowed me to check out at 6:00 (for a small fee) and also offered to hold my luggage if i needed them to after check out. I will probably stay here again if I can get a similar or better rate.
Funny smell in the room when you first walk in. No poker room. Sports book is a little cramped. I ate breakfast at TGI Fridays a few times, and although the staff was friendly it takes way too long to get your food, despite less than 10 people being in the entire restaurant (including the staff.) The gift shop is only 24 hours on weekends, they close at midnight Sunday - Thursday. There was also no refrigerator or safe in my room, I wouldn't have minded as much if that was advertised, I thought all hotel rooms had refrigerators... This is still a great bang for your buck, I'll likely be back.
The room & the casino
Rooms clean and spacious. Id checked evenings.
Casino area smoky and needs updating. Buffet so-so.
If there is a place to go that does not destroy your pocket book, it is here. Not far from the strip and plenty of distractions from the rat race.
clean room easy to get to the strip good price for my room
my sister book two queen size bed and when we got there they give us a room with a king size. They say that it was kayak mistake
Ping Pang Pong
This is a great place to stay if you are here for the WSOP. It's next door to the Rio but cheaper. Walking distance and near a quick entrance into the Rio Pavilion gets you back to the action without the necessity of walking through the Rio casino. Nice small pool area, but big enough for this hotel. Friendly valet parking crew.
It took forever for the valet to pick up and bring our bags to valet parking at checkout time. Waited almost an hour.
