10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, friendly and charming hosts. Sat and talked with Raymond about the history of the property and honestly wish we could have stayed longer to hear more. Our stay was a highlight of our trip. Close proximity to Newgrange, Slane Castle, and downtown Drogheda. Breakfast was incredible, freshly sourced and prepared. Gardens were beautiful. Room was quiet, spacious, and simply beautiful. Thank you Raymond and Juliet, best stay we've ever experienced at a Homeaway property.
7.9 Good
Pros: Fabulous entryway through the forest and lovely friendly staff. Comfy beds and really tasty breakfast.
Cons: No soap in the bathrooms at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house and property are so lovely! Our room was huge and full of light with super tall windows. Enormous bathroom with claw foot tub and very large separate shower. Breakfast in the tearoom was delicious and cozy. The owners are very nice and helpful. Wi-Fi was fast, the bed and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: A king sized bed in such as enormous room would have made the stay perfect. Also, an iron would be helpful too - clothes get wrinkly traveling and it’s embarrassing to go about in crumpled shirts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely. So nice to be able to have a lovely bath. The continental breakfast was delicious. Chatting to the owners and hearing some of the history really helped like the place even more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Raymond and Juliette very friendly and personable
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely estate with an interesting back story.
Cons: No plug for the beautiful bathtub.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good but not enough choice for a vegetarian. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet so the sleep quality was excellent. The gardens are still a work in progress and have the potential to be something really special.
Cons: The TV was small and couldn't be seen if sitting on the couch. I would like to have the tea and coffee making facility in the room instead of the hallway. I think it is a bit overpriced as the facilities could have been better.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pub directly under the B&B so you can grab some food or a drink without walking too far. We had a very large room with a very large bathroom and both were really clean. Very close to the sea and to all the things you might need in the town.
Cons: Pub directly under the B&B. Depending on where your bed is, it could be somewhat loud but it was not overly noisy. Minor issue with the "reception" being in the pub, but that also means you find someone there at all times, not a big problem overall.

Pros: Good location out of Dublin. Good room with good bathroom ensuite. Great breakfast. Secured parking
Cons: Did not offer evening meals but not a big deal as we went to nearby golf club.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I arrived via ferry, and car. I called them right after arriving to let them know we were on our way. She said it was to late to check in at 1am that no one would be there. I told her that this was not posted upon booking. It was also not posted on confirmation. I then got an email the next morning saying I canceled. That is wrong. They refused to check me in, which forced me to find another place to stay at the last minute with elderly people with me. I am requesting this be refunded immediately.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Lovely place to stay. Friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful place with easy access to Drogheda.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful design mix of traditional and contemporary to suit the building and location. Just delightful.
6.3 Good
Pros: A lovely location with good access to Dublin and Airport as this was our last night of a 3 week holiday in Ireland. Great local advice to eat dinner at the local golf course..excellent food and great service.
Cons: We did not get the room we had booked ie. A riverside room...which was very disappointing! We had been recommended this hotel by friends who enjoyed the ambiance of the riverside rooms and considering how early we booked I feel we were penalised for booking through an agent and were given a room at the very back of the hotel. The rooms are needing painting and there was even a hole in the wall outside the bathroom! The heating also was not working! Considering the money we paid we were very disappointed with our experience!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is perfect. The village pub is in the hotel, so if you like a pint and a chat with the fellas, you can't go wrong.
Cons: Dinner................ You have to get in the car to find dinner. Go to Cloggerhead (Pizza take away, Chinese, Italian) - all pretty good.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great breakfast, comfortable rooms! The hairdryer was broken in our room and after contacting reception a new one was delivered to our room within five minutes. Helpful in giving suggestions for places for dinner.

6.0 Good
Pros: We were given an up grade to a two bed cottage which was very nice.
Cons: From all the information we received we believed the restaurant to be open but strangely it only opens during the week & not at weekends. A number of clients were disappointed with this. This meant we had to travel 5 miles to find another nice restaurant.

Cons: The location. The bed in our room was also rather uncomfortable, meaning we didn't get a great night sleep. We swapped sides the following night which seemed to help somewhat.

Pros: Large room. Good shower.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely friendly and helpful especially Ursula and Ann Marie on reception. A good breakfast with several choices of hot meal together with usual pastries and cereals. Easy access and only 20 minutes from Dublin Airport. Due to our flight being delayed, we arrived later than expected. We ate in the bar area as there was a wedding reception being held in the function room. A good meal with sizeable portions although a little on the expensive side. Very tasty though with a pint of Guinness! We actually booked a room (direct) to stay in the following week on our way back to the airport. Good that there is tea making facilities in the room.

Kiltallaght House - Termonfeckin - Bedroom
9
9.7 Excellent (14 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly cosy and comfortable bedroom and indulging bathroom. Wonderful hosts! Overall, a great calming countryside experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Kiltallaght House is a large, comfortable family home, set in lovely gardens, with courtyard and farm buildings. The spacious, well appointed, ground-floor room is privately situated, yet also feels part of the family home. Audrey and Niall are excellent hosts, who made us feel very welcome. The bed is large and comfortable, and the large bathroom has separate bath and shower cubicle. We especially appreciated the number and size of the towels provided. The room has garden views and fast internet. There was a good breakfast with plenty of fruit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a lovely home, I only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time we will. We will make an effort to return. Audrey was gracious and made us tea upon our arrival, much needed. They made us dinner reservations. Lovely all around!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely stay with our hosts who welcomed us into their lovely house, and whilst not your typical b&b, for us it was a lovely improvement as we felt we were staying with friends and meeting the family was a pleasant bonus to our trip away. The house itself is set in the countryside just next to a farm and has a lovely countryside feel to it. The room we stayed in was very plush and had a lovely bathroom and very comfortable bed with great linen. Breakfast was cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble, including GF bread and my girlfriend wanting her coffee the "spanish" way (roll of the eyes). Truly lovely couple of days and would return without a doubt. If you don't mind getting to know your hosts a little and like some good conversation, then I would highly recommend this location. Tip: have a GPS to find the place and tel. number to call if you get a little confused on the way, as we did. The house is not close to other places of interest but easily accessible if you have your own car/rental.
Cons: Nothing, all 1st class.

Cons: Our towels were duly changed on day two but surprisingly, our teacups and sheets weren't. That was disappointing. Breakfast was good although we are charged more if we stay at the hotel which was a little strange. We were however informed that this was because we could also choose from the breakfast bar. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good
Cons: Slightly expensive
5.0 Okay
Pros: The team in the bar/restaurant were great and the food was reasonably good.
Cons: Waited some time to check in and I know I should double check first but I really dislike having to park in a non secure local authority car park and having to pay extra for it. I had assumed that this location would have had ample parking, lesson learned. Also they advertise a gym :-( :-(, or 'mini gym', which had two pieces of kit and one, the bike, was out of action. TBH it wasn't really worth advertising.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff I found them to be very helpful and friendly your manager offered to help when I had a problem and Anna on the desk printing something for me, when my daughter could not get me on my mobile she rang your hotel who put her through to me, so a big thank you to you all.

Cons: Whilst the hotel is close to the centre it's not really the bustling vibrant waterfront that I would have expected from the description. Odd configuration of the beds in the room - there was no lightswitch which could be reached from the bed and a lack of 3 pin plug sockets for electrics. (yes, definitely 1st world problems)

Cons: beds very uncomfortable , €15 extra for breakfast

Pros: Anne was awesome with us! She prepared nice and tasty eggs for breakfast and gave us some precious tips on where to go and what to see in the morning!
7.5 Good
Pros: the staff were very good.
Cons: If the owners religion will effect the breakfast menu, it should be stated prior to booking so as a free choice can be made on whether I accept that or not. How many eggs can a person be expected to eat each morning? What was offered was not a continental breakfast by any means.

6.3 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Staff were not overly friendly or attentive, particularly at reception. Breakfast was underwhelming with hot food having turned cold and fruit juice watered down. Had I not been attending a conference I would not be choosing to stay here and won’t be again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location for my business, also has airport shuttle. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Probably it's time for refurbishment. The location looks a bit used and the windows sound block isn't perfect against the motorway
5.0 Okay
Pros: Restaurant, bar and staff were lovely. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: The rooms are very worn and in need of renovation. They are clean but the furniture is water stained and the walls are are badly marked. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. My husband asked for a better room but the receptionist said they are all as bad. The tv remote was filthy and the tv reception was poor. Overpriced.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and clean room and hotel. Staff were very friendly. Conference room and meal provided was very impressive. Complimentary cookies where a winner. Very easy to find coming from Belfast direction. Overall good value for money. Lots of parking.
Cons: The room service meal was terrible , not very warm, very greasy and one of the most fatty steaks ive ever had plus it was 30 euro. I did write this on hotel feedback. The kettle was grim and full of old water, it wouldn't boil and was very temperamental. There were several white crusty marks on the red bedsheets.
